About: I specialize in thoughtful, low-stress care for cats of all personalities—from social and playful to shy and selective. I take the time to understand each cat’s routine, preferences, and boundaries so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience with multi-cat households, administering basic medications, and caring for senior cats who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m highly reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented, and I treat your home and your cat with the same level of care I would expect for my own. You can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your cat is in calm, capable hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around visits, ensuring I’m always on time and able to provide consistent, attentive care. I’m intentional about not overbooking so each cat receives the time, attention, and calm presence they deserve. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a longer visit, I prioritize being fully present and dependable. I focus on maintaining each cat’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. During visits, I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box care, and playtime or companionship based on your cat’s personality. I take the time to understand preferences — whether that’s interactive play, quiet company, or simply respecting their space. I’m attentive to small changes in behavior or appetite and will always communicate anything noteworthy. I also treat your home with care and respect, keeping things clean and consistent. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your cat is doing.
About: Call me Libby :) Dogs are my absolute passion in life! I was raised in a home with dogs and I’ve been a personal pet owner for over 10 years. I have experience raising and fostering puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ve had dogs in hospice care, with special needs, medical issues, etc. I have basic training skills and there are no stairs in my home in case your dog can’t use them. I have a large fenced in yard for play time or sunbathing in a safe and quiet neighborhood. They will be treated as if they are my own and loved on for every minute they are in my care! I run my own business so my work hours are flexible. I never leave the home for more than 4-5 hours at the absolute maximum. My 2 dogs and I go on evening walks everyday (after it’s cooled off in the summer time) and lots of outdoor time in between. My life revolves around my dogs needs so yours will fit in perfectly! I have a large fenced in yard and crates of different sizes if you need or want them to be crated. I have two friendly dogs so your baby will never be alone. My youngest dog will be a loving companion to your pet and make sure they feel like they’re at home. Whether that’s playing or napping, he will fall in love with them instantly!
“Shannon was huge help walking our dog Nora after my foot surgery. She was responsible, communicative, and took some cute pictures of Nora during their walks! We will definitely book again.”

“Drew is great! He followed all of my instructions and took great care of my baby. He clearly knows how to handle big dogs (Bruce is a Doberman). Will definitely hire again next time I'm out of town for work!”

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!
About: Hi, I'm Hannah! I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I spent five years at a veterinary hospital as a kennel and vet tech, where I learned to administer medications, care for pets with a wide range of needs, and keep their spaces clean and comfortable. I’ve also raised and trained my own dogs, an Australian Shepherd and a Yorkipoo, and helped care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets, including a few rabbits! Since moving to Richmond, I’ve joined a run club at the Richmond Animal League and love staying active with animals. I'm looking forward to meeting your pets! I'm a full-time student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention and care they need throughout the day. Working at a vet hospital and growing up with animals has given me experience with dogs and cats of all types. In your home, I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, keep their space clean, and make sure your home is just as you left it, or better. I’m happy to walk, play, and administer any medications your pet may need.

About: My first dog, Bella, was a sweet black Lab whom I helped my family care for from 1yo to 11yo. After she sadly passed, my family adopted another black lab, Luther, who was a handful when he was a puppy! He is now 3yo, and I've helped care for him by playing with him, taking him on walks, and feeding him. I also have dog-sat for 2 Vizslas and 1 small terrier. When I was around 12yo I cat-sat for my neighbors and would play with and feed their 2 cats. I'm currently working a very flexible schedule as a student researcher. I'm extremely free on weekends and am willing to work early or late hours! I've walked dogs who have a "pulling" problem/are just very excited pups! I've also walked stubborn dogs who don't like to walk very far in the heat (my dog!). Additionally, I've fed dogs with unique food instructions involving medications and dogs who are stubborn eaters.
About: I’ve provided pet care for various animals for many years. I have two energetic dogs and will care for your pet as if they were my own. I understand the importance of routine and your pet’s comfort, so will ensure that instructions are followed to the letter. I have the ability to work from home so can be flexible with drop-ins to meet your needs! My availability is updated regularly and can also work with you individually to figure out care that works for you. I can approach care in your home and walks however your pet is most used to, ensuring they feel comfortable and can stick to their routine. Also let me know if there is anything else I can help with while dropping in!
About: I’ve had dogs and animals my entire life. I have a heart for caring for animals and giving them the best life possible. Can help train younger dogs as I have experience training puppies and reactive dogs. 🚨I also have experience and knowledge of working with reactive dogs (barking, etc.). If your dog needs a bit more TLC and patience, I am happy to offer that to your pup. I ask that you describe in detail how to best set your dog up for success during my time with them and what their typical triggers are so that I keep your pup safe and happy. I’m a young professional living in central Richmond VA. I live a leisure lifestyle outside of work in event planning that includes many walks, plant gardening, and reading. I am also known for the occasional hike! Weekends are usually free as well as pockets of time throughout the day and evenings. Dogs are allowed anywhere in my home! I openly welcome couch snuggles (unless owner would rather place and mat training in place). I want to make my space as comfortable as possible for our furry guests, so will make any accommodations necessary for a relaxing stay with me!
“Emmalee has taken the time to get to know our dog and he has taken to her very quickly and he is a very sensitive soul so that speaks volumes! Really happy and relaxed knowing she is caring for him, would definitely recommend.”
