About: I specialize in thoughtful, low-stress care for cats of all personalities—from social and playful to shy and selective. I take the time to understand each cat’s routine, preferences, and boundaries so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience with multi-cat households, administering basic medications, and caring for senior cats who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m highly reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented, and I treat your home and your cat with the same level of care I would expect for my own. You can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your cat is in calm, capable hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around visits, ensuring I’m always on time and able to provide consistent, attentive care. I’m intentional about not overbooking so each cat receives the time, attention, and calm presence they deserve. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a longer visit, I prioritize being fully present and dependable. I focus on maintaining each cat’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. During visits, I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box care, and playtime or companionship based on your cat’s personality. I take the time to understand preferences — whether that’s interactive play, quiet company, or simply respecting their space. I’m attentive to small changes in behavior or appetite and will always communicate anything noteworthy. I also treat your home with care and respect, keeping things clean and consistent. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your cat is doing.
About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!
About: I’ve had dogs growing up and had to take care of them a lot as well as having experience as a kennel tech over some summers! I’m currently off over the summer while school is out so my availability is very open. I can take care of your pets when ever you need me. I have an apartment that I am more than happy having pets stay in however there is no yard. I am happy to stay with them and house sit.

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. With two years of professional housekeeping experience, I’m comfortable caring for both pets and homes with the same level of respect and attention to detail I’d want for my own. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!
“Nicole does such a great job with my baby. On days when it’s too hot she still makes sure he goes out and gets playtime and love. I absolutely love that she takes multiple pics to show what they’ve been up to. Pork Chop enjoys her visits so much”

About: I’ve grown up around animals since I was little. I have expensive experience with dogs, especially, and taking care of both puppies and elderly dogs. I know, knowledgeable about feeding schedules, bloat, and dealing with pets that may eat too fast. I can also walk two dogs at a time and navigate other animals/pet interactions. Cat wise, I own a cat myself currently and am knowledgeable on administering medication, both topical and oral. Oral medication includes pills and syringes. My cat, when I first rescued him, had pneumonia and severe URI. So I am very knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with chronically ill animals as well. I al free anytime. My weekends are also completely free so if you want to go away for a long weekend, I would be happy to drop in. When it comes to walking, my schedule is the same. I live in an apartment, but I have a lot of open outside yard turf that dogs and cats can run on if they like. Inside my apartment I have a bunch of cat towers and toys that if boarding your animals would love to interact with.
“Natalie was great! Made leaving my giant breed puppy super easy when I had a last minute family emergency. Punctual, good communication, asked good questions :)”

“Kallie took great care of my girl Luna. I really appreciated her prompt communication and willingness to work with her schedule to accommodate visits. I would happily rebook with her and recommend her services!”

About: Hi there! My name is Krista, and I’m a lifelong animal lover who understands that pets are family. As a healthcare professional, I bring reliability, responsibility, and attention to detail to every pet-sitting job. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets of various ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’m committed to providing attentive and compassionate care while you’re away. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, paddleboarding, and exploring new places. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your pet with someone else, and I strive to treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work at a local hospital and have the ability to do morning, afternoon, and evening check ins or walks depending on your needs. I appreciate communication on any preferences or routines you have with your pet as you truly know them and your home best! I aim to provide the safest care possible.

About: I grew up with dogs around me since I was 7. My parents eventually adopted two when I was 9. My brother and I collectively raised both as 2 more siblings. They are now 14 and 15, and healthy and playful as ever! An animal just needs love and attention to live a long and fulfilling life. I'll never say no to a walk, heading out twice or three times a day is like second nature to me at this point. Just give me a time and I'll take your bud out for their walk on the dot. As of right now, my current job at VCU is closed for the summer. So I'm mostly free for the entirety of the season! I used to be an owner of 2 dogs for years until 2023 when they moved in with my mother back home. Only recently this year have I been given the chance to live with a pet again. And yet the habit of living with in animal in the house still feels ingrained within me. I've always walked dogs with a vest/rather than a harness, but I'm assuming you as a responsible owner would know that by now. I always make sure they're kept company and not just left in some room. (cruel!) Every dog has their own way of asking you for something, I've gotten pretty keen on what they want to say as I've grown up with two. As long as you give me a proper schedule, I will feed and walk your friend in a timely manner. I'm still quite the novice with cat-care, but my roommate always has some pointers for me to back me up. Mostly regarding litter boxes.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Willow Oaks
Seriously 10/10 recommend. Zack was so patient and understanding with my dog Sanova, even when she had issues with barking and getting used to him. He stayed kind, consistent, genuine, and happy to help no matter what. He was very communicative throughout and such a pleasure to have around. Sanova always got lots of exercise and great care when she was with him- his services were a huge relief to me and my boyfriend’s bust schedules. If you’re looking for a sign to book him for his services- this is it.
