About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have cared for my own golden retriever, Sunny, since he was a puppy. Sunny is now 5 years old, well-behaved, and friendly with other pets. My experience includes daily walks, playtime, and creating a safe, loving environment for dogs of all temperaments. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will get plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. I walk Sunny twice daily—morning and evening—and love spending time outdoors. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays. I live in a one-level ranch-style home with a fully fenced-in backyard, perfect for safe outdoor play. My home is quiet, clean, and pet-friendly. About: I grew up with so many dogs, from wiener dogs to pit bulls. One of my passions is taking my friends to Shenandoah for the day and hiking for miles. Recently, I started volunteering at the Richmond Animal League, where I’m in charge of walking, feeding and washing pups at the end of each of day. I work a 9-5, but I wake up really early and I can leave on lunch breaks. On the weekends, I can be available 24/7. I’m very comfortable pet sitting in other homes. I watch almost all my friends dogs when they go out of town, and I stay at their house for that.

“Sydney was amazing with my sweet dog PJ. I came to Richmond from out of town for a few days and was grateful to coordinate several dog walks with Sydney. PJ is not a city dog, so I was a little hesitant on how best to handle downtown Richmond. Sydney knows the area well as a VCU student, and she was able to find green space and waterfront walks for PJ. She also did well to secure arrangements with me on short notice. About: I grew up feeding both my mastiff mix Lilly and cat Kitty and walking Lilly daily. In college, I took care of a husky-mix, walking and feeding him daily. I’m currently working part-time so my schedule is pretty flexible! I am available for walks and feedings and can come check on your pet any time. I have experience with crate-training and know and will always strive to respect your personal house rules. About: As an adoring mother to my dog and 2 cats whose pets are her prized angels and actual children, I understand how important it is to know that your pets are being well taken care of. I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life and also volunteer at the SPCA in my spare time so I have experience with a wide range of care needs, temperaments, sizes, and energy levels of different cats and dogs! I will treat your pet as if he or she is my own and ensure they are well-taken care of! I grew up owning a dog and have since added 2 more to my family. I shared the responsibilities of feeding them, playing with them, and caring for each dog with my family members. I would be grateful for the opportunity to get to know and care for your pet! About: One of the first things people notice about me is how animals are drawn to me. For some reason I was the only person who could sit my cousin's dog, who wanted to bite everyone else. Odds are good your pet will make a new friend while you're away. I'm currently between full-time jobs, which gives me the flexibility to build my schedule to meet the needs of clients, whether it's just dropping in or a long-term stay. My apartment has a very cat-friendly setup, though obviously most cats prefer staying on their own turf. For dogs, I'll need to come to you.

About: My family has had dogs since I was born, and I got my own 9 years ago when he was a puppy. I’ve raised him on my own, cared for my parents’ dogs when they’re out of town, and looked after my friends’ pets. I currently have a very flexible work schedule and can accommodate most days and times for pet care as needed. Comfortable walking dogs in any time of day and any season! I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and am comfortable with any breed or size. I’ve had senior dogs before, and raised my own dog since he was a puppy, so I’m comfortable with any age range too!
