“Rosemary was amazing! She sent frequent updates about how Sully was doing and was always on time. We knew Sully was in great hands with Rosemary, which made being out of town and away from home a lot less stressful. Thanks for everything, Rosemary! Sully can’t wait to see you again soon!”

Emmy H.
“Emmy has cared for my beloved dog Zoey like she is her own dog. Emmy is thoughtful, caring, attentive and the sweetest woman, especially to my Zoey! She has watched Zoey during high times of stress in my life, but knowing Zoey was with Emmy brought me so much peace and comfort. I can rely on Emmy for updates and pictures when I’m out of town and there is no doubt Zoey is spoiled when she is with Emmy!”

Dawn B.

“We needed a doggy walker since we were going to be out for a week to visit family. Dawn is such a kind and caring soul. She was very attentive in everything we requested. She took great care of our dog Kylo and was on time with all the walks we booked. She went above and beyond for him and was also very respectful of our home. Dawn also provided pictures and comments for a every walk via the rover cards for each walk. We read every single one of them and it honestly made us feel safe knowing that Kylo was in such good hands. I would recommend Dawn to anyone. We were lucky to find her!”

About: I’m 28, and I have taken care of many family animals and I’d love to commit to be your pets sitter. I’ll make sure that your pet is treated like my own and they’ll never lack love and care. I’m pet sitting full time. I’m gone about 3-4 hours a day total. So I have plenty of time to spend with your pet ! I live in a 1 bedroom apartment but I love going outside so I definitely have plenty of room to play with animals. We can walk to a nearby park.

About: I have accumulated three years of invaluable pet care experience, primarily through offering pet sitting services in my hometown of Manchester, MD, and through working with both Pet Valu and Petco. During this time, I have had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of pets, from playful puppies to wise old cats, and also our scaled, feathered, and fishy friends. Now, as I embark on a new chapter in Richmond, VA, I'm excited to extend my expertise and dedication to pet owners in this community, providing reliable and compassionate pet care services that prioritize the happiness and health of your furry, feathered, and scaled family members. Given my current status as an independent artist running my own art business, I have the flexibility to offer pet sitting, pet check-ins, and dog walking services for the majority of my days in Richmond, VA. Cheyenne M.
About: My mom works in veterinary medicine so we always had so many different animals around. Cats, dogs, birds, Snakes, guinea pigs; a little of everything. I ended up also working in vet med and have been working directly with animals for 6 years now. The last 2 years I have worked in a fear free clinic and have a special love for giant breed dogs! Evenings and weekends are the best times for me for drop ins and walks; but I have flexible availability throughout the day to meet your needs. I have a two story town house, so even though I have cats in the home, they will be upstairs and a baby gate will be on the stairs. I have a small shaded yard and a bigger open field behind us. We are close to a road, so pets will not be allowed outside without a leash as well as a slip lead if you are okay with that. I will also ask for any dogs being taken on a walk to have a leash and a slip lead as well. I will provide the lead.

Julia M.
“Julia was up for the task of watching my ball of canine terror, and now whenever she walks in, my dog is more than eager to greet her with love! Julia was reliable, responsible, and loving, so says my dog, who is a very good judge of character. I’ll definitely be working with her again.”

About: Hi! I️ reside in good ole Bon Air and I️’m currently going to school online to become a certified herbalist. I’m working in the restaurant industry part time and would love to pick up some side jobs caring for your pet because I love animals dearly! I’ve lived my entire life surrounded by animals and when I️ was 14 I️ went out and got my very own rescue. She is not your normal dog, and does not act like a normal dog so I️ have experience dealing with your not so average dog. I inherited my dads three Chesapeake bay retrievers when he passed away and now I️ sadly only have my youngest remaining but she is my world. I also have a 105 pound yellow lab that lives with my mom and he’s the most lovable boy. I have a cat who was my father’s and she’s still thriving to this day. It’s safe to say I️ absolutely love animals and I️ am very confident in my ability to care for not only my own pets, but yours as well. I️ would be beyond happy and grateful to get the opportunity to meet your animals and care for them when you are not available! After all, they always deserve the best. :~) Since I️ am doing online school, I️ have availability all day on the days I️ don’t work in the restaurant and I️ only work at night so I’m available every morning! I️ am willing to care for your pets any way that you prefer and for how they are trained. I️ take my girl for daily walks and/or runs and have her on a consistent feeding schedule. I️ cook green beans, carrots, and broccoli and sometimes chicken for my dog to have twice a day with her dry food as well. Her health is just as important to me as my own. My pets are house broken and free roam around the house. They are also allowed on beds and furniture. If you do not prefer that for yours, I️ will respect that!
