Reliable dog walker in the Fan
I treat every dog like my own — safety and comfort come first. I have a flexible schedule, a comfortable apartment in the Fan, and plenty of time for walks and playtime throughout the day. I’m experienced with dogs of all energy levels, from calm seniors to high-energy pups who need extra exercise.

Your dog's safety and comfort come first, every walk. I stick to routes I know well, keep a close eye on traffic and other dogs, and adjust pace based on weather — shorter, cooler-time walks on hot days, careful footing checks in icy conditions. I always use secure leash handling (no retractable leashes near roads) and won't take risks with off-leash time unless it's an enclosed, agreed-upon space. I pay attention to each dog's individual comfort level — some dogs want to greet every person and dog they see, others need space, and I respect that. Before and after each walk, I make sure your home is secure — doors locked, gates closed, nothing left open. I send photo/text updates so you always know how the walk went, and I'll flag anything unusual immediately (limping, unusual behavior, anything ingested on the walk, etc.). I treat every dog like I'd want mine treated: patient, attentive, and never rushed.

This was our dog’s first visit with Jonathan. We had a brief meet and greet before the overnight. All went very well. He was friendly and easy going, accommodating and responsive to texts. He sent several pictures and sincerely enjoyed having our pup. We have already scheduled our next stay.
I had a very last minute need and Jonathan was very flexible and quick to respond!! He also sent pictures and updates during the day. Most importantly my Luna was so happy when I picked her up!! Def recommend!

Schedule
I am on a hybrid schedule so I have ample time to stay home and take care of dogs. Weekends will be best for this schedule. I keep my client list intentionally manageable so I can give each dog consistent, reliable attention rather than rushing between too many walks. If your schedule changes or you need something outside my usual windows, just reach out — I'll do my best to accommodate.

- Before our first walk, I like to know a bit about your dog so I can set them up for success. That includes any leash reactivity or fear triggers (other dogs, strangers, loud noises), how they do on leash — pullers vs. easy walkers — and any commands they respond well to. If they have medical needs, allergies, or mobility limitations, please let me know so I can adjust the pace and route accordingly. It's also helpful to know their general energy level and ideal walk length, along with any quirks — things like skateboards, bikes, or certain sounds that might spook them. And if your dog is a known escape artist (bolts at doors, slips collars easily), definitely flag that ahead of time so I can take extra precautions. The more context I have going in, the safer and more comfortable the walk will be for your dog.
