About: I moved to Richmond about a year ago, which meant leaving my two pups back home with their dad. As rural, born-and-bred dogs, city life just wasn’t the right fit for them. So now, I’m filling that gap by spending time with other people’s furry friends! I’ve become the go-to dog walker for my neighbors, and I genuinely love it—it gives me my weekly dose of wagging tails and happy walks. I will provide attentive, personalized care based on each pets routine and personality, whether I’m in my client’s home or caring for them on a walk. I make sure every pet gets plenty of exercise, affection, and supervision, while sticking closely to any instructions the owner provides regarding feeding, leash use, or behavior preferences.

I previously worked at a kennel-free dog boarding facility, where I helped care for multiple dogs at once in a safe, supervised environment. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any specific routines your pet is used to. During visits, I make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just companionship. I also make sure basics like fresh water, clean feeding areas, and litter boxes are taken care of. For dog walks, I focus on safe handling, appropriate exercise for your dog’s energy level, and making sure they return home happy and settled. About: Hey there! My name is Veronica M., I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist in Richmond. I have a Certification in Dog Handling as well as Canine and Feline Massage Therapy & Reiki. Having a dog with separation anxiety has given me firsthand understanding of dog behavior and special needs pups. I’ve had an affinity for animals since my childhood, growing up with and taking care of our 2 black labs and a rescue jack russell. I continued my interest in animals through volunteer work with the SPCA & working as a kennel technician at a local doggy day care and boarding facility. There I fed, watered, and played with all different breeds of dogs as well as administered medicine as needed. Throughout, I continued dog and house sitting for family, friends, and referred clients. Later, after receiving a License in Massage Therapy, I decided to continue on the path of animal care and earned a certificate in Animal Massage, primarily canine and feline. About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

I currently work part-time from 5am-9am so I have plenty of time during the rest of the day to take care of your pets whenever! I love taking my dogs on trails and around the neighborhood to make sure they get plenty of exercise and enrichment. This is important to ensure they stay happy!
