Pet Sitting Westover

About: I’ve grown up around dogs for most of my life and already occasionally pet sit for friends and family. I used to work as a caretaker at a doggy daycare, and decided to continue pet care alongside my new job as it became such a fulfilling part of my life. I'm experienced with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and I'm experienced with a variety of other animals such as cats, fish, lizards, turtles, birds, and hermit crabs. My current work schedule follows the standard Mon-Fri 8-5, with most of my weekends and evenings open. Because of this, I'd be most suited for pets that are used to this schedule already. Otherwise, I try my best to stick to their current schedule for things like feeding and walks. I always feel comfortable meeting the parent(s) and pet before the booking. I can take care of all basic tasks and am very adaptable, patient, and reliable. I do my best to learn about each pet's little mannerisms and quirks so I can accommodate them the best I can while keeping them and your home safe. I want to make sure both you and your pet end up happy! I always ask that I'm given the pet's vet and an emergency contact as well, just in case.

When we got home today after being away for several days, my husband heard Fergus meowing through the door before we entered and said to me, "I pretty sure he's meowing 'Virginia! Virginia!' About: My family has had dogs since I was born and we fostered dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have helped out several family friends by pet sitting and walking their dogs. I’ve had some experience pet sitting cats as well. I believe all animals are special and deserve to be treated with love. At the moment I’m working part time with scattered hours so I’m able to fit in time caring for and playing with your pets I can adapt to any routines and rules that are needed to care for your pet the way you do. I am also physically active and give your pet the kind of exercise they need.

We have a fenced backyard and fenced front yard, giving dogs safe space to move, explore, and play. Inside we provide a dedicated dog room and crates for dogs of all sizes, creating a comfortable and secure place for them to rest when needed. Dogs are thoughtfully grouped by temperament, with attention to proper rest rotation and consistent feeding routines to support balance and comfort. Whether in our home or a client’s home, we focus on safety, supervision, and each dog’s individual needs.
