With our previous sitter, behavioral issues occurred and our cats decided to poop all over the house, plus they seemed visibly upset upon our return. About: My dream life is to own 50 acres of land and rescue and save ALL THE DOGS! But in the meantime, I foster, adopt, rescue and care for as many dogs as I can, whenever I can. I have been taking care of large dogs for all of my adult life, rescuing dozens of dogs from the streets of Atlanta to beginning my fostering journey this past December while residing in Florida. I have gotten every dog I have fostered into a forever, loving home with a few foster fails along the way :) (oops). I have worked with aggressive dogs, behavior-challenged dogs, trauma induced dogs, fearful dogs and every other dog in between. And I have loved them all. My greatest joy in life (after caring for my two young daughters) is saving and taking care of dogs. I am currently a stay at home mom, with two kiddos in school, so I have plenty of morning and day time hours to take care of your furry baby. I am also available for night sitting, weekend and over night care with enough notice. I will make sure your dog goes outside, whether you want me to play fetch in the backyard or take your pup on a leisurely and/or adventure walk in the woods. I will make sure your dog has water, and a comfy crate (if you crate your dog) and/or make sure everything is secure in your home for your dog according to your needs and requests. I will feed your dog, administer medicine if necessary, play with your dog, work on training if you request, clean up any messes, and anything else in between that is in accordance to your doggo's daily schedule. About: I’ve taken care of pets for 35 years. I am able to administer medications including injectable’s if needed. I work with all breeds and temperaments, and do not shy away from pets that have behavioral issues. I’ve worked extensively with large farm animals to include horses, goats, donkeys, and cattle and have cared for the occasional parrot, chinchilla, and snake. Since pet sitting is my only employment, I am able to provide companionship to your fur family 14-18 hours daily including overnight care. I also am able to check mail, grab packages, and water plants at no additional charge. I keep to your pets normal daily routine, to include walks, potty breaks, feeding schedule, and of course nap times. Let’s set up a meet and greet to see if I’m a good fit. Currently I am only doing pet sitting and it’s my primary and only employment. This enables me to spend more time with your fur babies. I care for pets in your home as requested. I stick to their normal daily schedule. I also water plants and grab mail as needed.

About: *9/2026: Back on the app after a hiatus due to meeting capacity for clients, currently looking for regular local clients after some of my previous clients have moved out of state! I am a pediatric physical therapist looking to dogsit on weekends or walk dogs. Walking or running with your dog(s) will allow me to stay active, and I am sure your pup will thank you for it! I get off on Fridays at 11:30AM and am free until Sunday nights at 10:00PM. My experience is fairly eclectic. I have fostered dogs for Houlagan's Rest and BARKVa for the 4 years, and currently have 2 adopted dogs of my ow (both foster fails!): a sweet American Bulldog mix named Big Mama, and a Black and Tan Coonhound Mix named Dusty. Fostering has allowed me to work with breeds, ages, and learning abilities of all kinds. I have leash trained, potty trained, and been a medical foster for those who have just been spayed/neutered as well as other medical complications. I am very comfortable with dogs that have barrier/food/dog aggression, as well as anxiety. In addition to my fostering/owning my own pups, I raised both of my childhood dogs (cockapoos) from 8 weeks onward for my mother during my summer breaks. I have also babysat dogs for my friends and family throughout undergraduate school and grad school. I believe that your pup should feel comfortable, safe, and happy throughout their stay with me, so I request that we do a meet and greet before confirming to make sure that I can sufficiently meet you and your dog's needs 😊 I will also be able to stay in your home full-time as my husband will take care of my pups while I am away, so no need to worry about splitting time!!! I am available to dogsit from Fridays after 11:30 AM until Sundays at 10:00PM, and can dog walk on weekends! I typically am home near full-time with your pup, and do not like to leave more than 2-3 hour intervals max most often. When at your home, I am always certain to implement whatever rules you may have. I am experienced with crate training, and am also happy to take the pup on adventures (I often like to go to the farmers market and on long walks around the Richmond Trails.) I am also happy to lounge on the couch and snuggle if that's what they prefer!
