Erica would be an excellent pet sitter. She has loved animals since she was a tiny girl. She once told me that she wasn’t going to have babies, she was going to have puppies. She has always had pets, dogs, cars, fish, gerbils, frogs, turtles and would have had a lot more if the opportunity came about. She moved to Waynesboro, VA and lived in housing that The Virginia Wildlife Center provided for volunteers and worked with all kinds of rescued wildlife. She volunteered at a horse farm. She worked during high school at the local vet and did her internship there for college. She worked for a vets office when she moved to Durham NC. She is absolutely wonderful with animals. Erica is an avid, compassionate and trustworthy pet owner. She is consistent with her dog (Ellie) - walking her daily, playing fetch and keeping her on a healthy diet. Erica has trained dogs / cats (even chickens!) her entire adult life - potty training, boundaries, safety and tricks! She has fostered multiple pets over the years as well, successfully training / caring for them (like they're her own!) and rehoming them into nurturing and responsible families. All of her experience and patience shows the way she cares for every pet she watches.
