About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!

About: I've had dogs since I was 5 (I'm 36). Cats I never had my own-- although I am getting kittens very soon :) -- but I have pet-sit for 2 cats of a good friends for 9 years whenever he left town. I also had a neighbor with anywhere from 7-15 cats growing up, and many (but not all) of those cats loved me. I am looking to build this into a primary source of income. I have closed weekends per the default availability, but please inquire and I will do my best to make time on weekends as well. I allow them to explore my house supervised in order to feel comfortable and knowledgeable about their surroundings. I have a space in the middle of the house that will be for pet toys / chewing / napping / etc.

I also administer medications if needed, reinforce any routines you’ve established, and keep your home tidy by cleaning up after your pet. After every visit, I’ll send you updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. With two years of professional housekeeping experience, I’m comfortable caring for both pets and homes with the same level of respect and attention to detail I’d want for my own. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. About: I have helped care for the family pets since I was age ten. I do not currently have a dog of my own but I have dog sat for family friends by walking, feeding, and playing with the dogs. I currently work full time. But I have off every Tuesday and every other Weekend. I would also be able to assist in evenings as needed as long as I have a heads up so I make sure I leave work at a decent time When training the family pets when I was younger we had them in crates at night, but now they sleep in the bed. I have dog sat for family friends that had a fenced in yard and others that the dogs needed to be walked a few times a day.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up and had to take care of them a lot as well as having experience as a kennel tech over some summers! I’m currently off over the summer while school is out so my availability is very open. I can take care of your pets when ever you need me. I have an apartment that I am more than happy having pets stay in however there is no yard. I am happy to stay with them and house sit.

Basically, you name it, I've hugged it. In the past year, I've started dog sitting regularly for several families in my hometown of Louisville, as well as in South Hadley, where I go to school. I love spending time with animals and look forward to getting to know yours! I'm a student in Richmond for the summer with a flexible schedule - I have plenty of free time all day, every day, and would love to spend my free time with your critters! I know all pets have unique needs, and am always willing to adhere to what you feel is best - whether that means six walks a day, regular litter box cleanings, or three-hour playtimes. I will always leave your house clean and make sure that your pet has all of their needs (and more) taken care of.

He sent plenty of pictures including those that look like the dogs are smiling ear to ear. He was prepared with water during the walk and gave them breaks to rest from the heat. Our yellow lab is usually restless and constantly pulling my husband but she behaved for Bruce. I would highly recommend him.”
