I currently reside in Richmond and have a pretty open and flexible schedule and availability. I am an avid animal lover and a pet mama of 7 (5 cats and 2 dogs). My babies are my whole world. I grew up on a farm and my parents used to own a pet store so am I familiar with many types of animals. I was a dog walker and sitter all of high school and college. I have had a myriad of pets growing up. I have experience with all ages of dogs and cats, as well as many breeds. I also have experience with managing and administering different types of medication. I love animals and would love to care for your pets, as I know you want the best care for these members of your family. I offer dog walking, drop ins, and staying with your pet while house sitting as well. Please contact me with any questions you may have!

I have a lot of experience with house sitting and have even done long term house sitting for families (about 1 month). I am very trustworthy and will put your pet's safety first while trying to keep them on their daily routine and keep a consistent environment for them.

I can’t say enough great things about our McKenzie! Leaving your pets behind is never easy, but knowing they were loved and cared for gave me complete peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs and cats were so well taken care of, and it was obvious they were treated like family. We received updates, photos, and could tell they were happy, comfortable, and in great hands. It’s such a relief to come home to pets that are relaxed and a house that feels like everything was handled with care. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, trustworthy, and truly loves animals, I highly recommend her! We will absolutely be using her again and again!

McKenzie is a wonderful dog/house sitter! She watched my little guy at my home and took the time not only to send many pictures, but to play and snuggle with him. Very friendly and obviously a dog lover, McKenzie was responsive and responsible. She showed up on time, responded to messages immediately, and left my place immaculate. She even taught my dog to catch pop flies! I will undoubtedly ask McKenzie to watch my dog again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic dogsitter.
For our 15-year-old Yorkie with limited hearing and vision, McKenzie was a caring and responsible day-long companion. She took our dog out frequently, gave her meds when needed, and even washed the food bowl! We can confidently recommend McKenzie as a knowledgeable and conscientious dog-sitter.

I’m currently studying to be a teacher and taking classes online so my schedule is very flexible! I will have plenty of time for your babies and be able to accommodate different needs since my schedule is very open right now!
