About: I’ve provided pet care for various animals for many years. I have two energetic dogs and will care for your pet as if they were my own. I understand the importance of routine and your pet’s comfort, so will ensure that instructions are followed to the letter. About: I've been around dogs my entire life: Owned 4 and raised/trained 16 service dogs in training for children with disabilities. I run half marathons, so I'll run with your pup if that's what they like! I have plenty of toys that I've collected over the years for your dog to play with! I love teaching dogs new tricks and commands, and would love to work with your fur baby so they can show you something special when you return! I take pictures constantly, so you will always have an update on your pup. I am comfortable with all breeds, and have the most experience with labs, goldens, and doodles. I am happy to give your pup a bath for a small fee so they come back to you looking and feeling great! I also have experience teaching basic commands to your dog, and would be more than happy to discuss training programs if that’s something you’re interested in! I also have experience with kittens and cats, having had 3 of my own. I'm comfortable with super friendly cats, or cats that want to keep to themselves. I will make sure your cat has food, water, and a clean litter box while you are away. In addition I can offer care for any gardens/houseplants that you have as well! While I work during the week, I am still committed to providing the best care for your pets. This will especially be true for pets that are use to having their people work during the day! This will provide a routine for your furry family member while you are away! While I live in an apartment, I am close to a park if your dog is friendly and enjoys going for walks! I am also very comfortable caring for cats and all that that entails while the cat stays in your home, usually where they are the most comfortable.

About: Hi. I go by Kimmy! I think what sets me apart most is that I genuinely enjoy being around animals and I’m very comfortable handling both the fun and messy parts of pet care. I’m especially experienced with cats — I currently have three of my own, including two that I adopted as seniors and one kitten I raised from 8 weeks old. That’s given me experience with everything from energetic kittens to older cats that need extra patience, monitoring, and gentle care. I’m also comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve helped care for stubborn corgis, abandoned 5-month-old puppies, and pitbull mixes. When my boyfriend works long days, I regularly take his dogs out for walks up to six times a day because I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and making sure they get enough exercise and attention. I’m not squeamish or easily overwhelmed, so I’m comfortable handling things like accidents, litter boxes, hairballs, vomit, bath time, medications, minor wound care, and cleaning up after pets when they’re not feeling well. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and bathroom habits because I know those small details can matter. I try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I'm currently a part time graduate student, and most of my classes are online so I'll have plenty of time to give your cat or dog the attention and care they deserve. I currently take my boyfriend's two dogs out at 6 AM every morning, so any time after 7 AM and before 7 PM is ideal for drop ins, walks, feedings, etc. I try to keep pets as comfortable and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine. I pay attention to feeding schedules, walks, litter box or potty habits, medications if needed, and making sure they’re getting enough attention, exercise, and affection while their owner is away. For cats, I’m very used to monitoring behavior, appetite, water intake, and litter box habits since I have three of my own, including two seniors. I know some cats need space at first while others want constant attention, so I adjust based on their personality and comfort level. I’m also comfortable handling things like hairballs, accidents, or cleaning up if they’re not feeling well. For dogs, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, bathroom breaks, and interaction throughout the day. I regularly help walk and care for my boyfriend’s dogs when he works long shifts, so I’m used to keeping up with high-energy dogs as well as more stubborn personalities. I’m comfortable with cleanup, bath time, minor wound care, and making sure pets feel safe, calm, and cared for in both my home and theirs. I make sure to update or ask permission from the owners if there are any deviations.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life of all sizes. I grew up with a great pyranees/ border collie and have a dog of my own who is a dachshund. I dog sat for my neighbor, friends, and relatives frequently. I also have experience in sitting for cats as well. I can also help your dog learn new tricks! I taught my dog how to sit, stay, lay down, paw, roll over, follow, and wait all within 6 months. I am currently a part-time employee and have a dog of my own, so I have plenty of time and experience in pet care to give your furbaby the care they deserve! I’m flexible to what they need. Whatever needs you have for your furbaby I can meet! My dog is very particular, so I am patient, willing and understanding to what your pet needs.

About: I have been fostering dogs and cats for about 7 years now and recently started working at Richmond Animal League as a dog care and enrichment specialist. Ranging from pairs of puppies to pit-bulls to litters of kittens to severely anxious dogs, I have taken care of them all. I understand that not all dogs are going to be the stereotypical dog, and I am prepared for any type of pet. I’m able to manage various behavioral and medical issues and provide basic assistance in these areas (oral medication, eye ointment, injections). I also train puppies - leash training, potty training, crate training, basic obedience, and basic tricks — and have worked with dog-reactive and anxious adult dogs. If you need me to help with training, I would be more than happy to help! Please keep in mind I am not a certified trainer. *for awareness: I work at my local shelter from 3pm-8pm on Thursdays and 8am-3pm on Saturdays. If you choose to book with me, please note that I will be away for these hours. *I have a 3 year old cat who loves dogs. If your baby loves cats & is respectful, please consider booking a stay with me. It would be great for them to meet and become friends! I just graduated from being student-athlete at Stanford and am now working hybrid in Richmond. I have no issue with waking up early and or staying up late to care for your loved pet. I am interested in dog sitting in your home and providing dog walks/drop-ins as needed! I can also do some boarding and day cares . I am working hybrid (3 days in office / week) so will need to know in advance if you'd like me to be working from home any weekdays. Other than that, I am perfectly fine adjusting to your pets schedule (wake up and bed time).

I work full time, so I will only be able to do weekend overnight bookings, but during the weekend I can be available all day to help you and your pet as much as needed!!! For daily drop ins, I will be able to check in before, during, and after working hours due to my flexible working schedule :-) I will respect all of the rules and jobs that the owner of the pet would give to me!!!
