I feel that years of experience in caring for animals who are being boarded, hanging out at daycare, or getting a stylish spa day have taught me so much in how to interact and build trust with many animals no matter the situation. Any behavioral issues, please. I am comfortable dealing with many different needs and boundaries, but this can only be accomplished with transparency. Any allergies, medications or any medical conditions that could arise are also incredibly important. Genuinely, any information that you feel is helpful in bonding with your pet, as well as any information you may think isn’t as important, I want to hear it all!
A typical day
My favorite part of the day is waking up and jumping into our first activity of the day. I’ve seen first hand many dogs have different preferences on their perfect day. A high energy training session or a chill walk around the neighborhood can be exactly what your lab compared to your pug. I am comfortable with any energy requirements and am happy to help define your dogs dream day, from a nice hike by the river or maybe just a couple rounds of fetch in the backyard.

Pet care experience
I have five years of professional dog care in many different spheres. I have previously managed two different kennels, groomed many dogs around Richmond, and am K9-CPR certified. I have experience training puppies, adults, and seniors basic obedience, leash manners, and beginner agility. I am well versed in administering medications. Prior to working with dogs as a career, I have experience caring for many dogs over my life, from family pets to petsitting in the neighborhood. I am happy to provide enrichment activities for your animal as well, such as bubble play, doga (dog yoga), or drives to hiking locations. I have also recently taken a course on dog massage!
