I have five years of professional dog care in many different spheres. I have previously managed two different kennels, groomed many dogs around Richmond, and am K9-CPR certified. I have experience training puppies, adults, and seniors basic obedience, leash manners, and beginner agility. I am well versed in administering medications. Prior to working with dogs as a career, I have experience caring for many dogs over my life, from family pets to petsitting in the neighborhood. I am happy to provide enrichment activities for your animal as well, such as bubble play, doga (dog yoga), or drives to hiking locations. I have also recently taken a course on dog massage!

I feel that years of experience in caring for animals who are being boarded, hanging out at daycare, or getting a stylish spa day have taught me so much in how to interact and build trust with many animals no matter the situation. I believe a combination of patience, kindness, intuition, and some snackos can really foster a safe, positive environment for everybody.

McKenzie accepted my night time dog walking request that was super last minute and did amazing with my pitty :) They went on a very long walk that led him to sleep through the whole night— which he never does!!! Would def recommended!!

- Any behavioral issues, please. I am comfortable dealing with many different needs and boundaries, but this can only be accomplished with transparency. Any allergies, medications or any medical conditions that could arise are also incredibly important. Genuinely, any information that you feel is helpful in bonding with your pet, as well as any information you may think isn’t as important, I want to hear it all!
