About: For the last three years, I have taken care of several dogs in my neighborhood. Mostly walking them, at times several walks a day, and dogsitting as well. I am able to account for the needs of dogs and am able to safely walk them. I am also a proud owner of two beautiful cats, so I am familiar with the habits of cats and how to tend to their individual needs! All my neighbors view me as a trustworthy companion and caregiver for their furry friends It is currently my summertime before school so until mid-August I am mostly free every day. My availability will be dependent on variable day-to-day summer errands, but I will be sure to prioritize my furry clients! I will keep a leash on your pet at all times during the walk and be sure to provide them with anything, such as food, treats, or water after the walk.

About: Since I’m new to Richmond, I have a flexible schedule and love getting out to explore the neighborhood with dogs! I have a dog of my own (Honey) and we love exploring the Fan and Carytown so far. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs as well 🐶 I work a remote position that’s pretty flexible so I’m able to make daily drop-in visits and walk neighborhood dogs throughout the week and sometimes on the weekends I try to make things feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pet by sticking to their routine. Whether that’s walks, meals, or just hanging out, I adjust to what they need. I’m big on updates (and cute photos), and I’m always careful about safety in and out of the home. Being a dog mom to Honey, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that seriously.

About: I have experience caring for both puppies (even during potty training) and senior pets with special medication or mobility needs. I have pet sit for numerous families with senior pets and have been successful in meeting all of their needs and providing the best care possible. I would love to do the same for your pet! I am in my 4th year of medical school, so my schedule is more flexible than an average full time job. I often have odd shifts or hours, so I can often tend to pets at times where others may not be able to! I am willing to fit caring for your pet into my schedule however I can. I currently have 1 cat who lives in my apartment. I am so excited for the day we move to a home where we can build him a cat patio (or catio as we lovingly refer to it as), but for now he loves sitting in the window and seeing all of the sights outside! I would be willing to travel wherever needed to pet sit or do pet check-ins/potty breaks/walks. I would care for your animal just like it was my own. About: I have been working with animals for ten years now! I owned a dog care and behavior management business in Richmond before taking a break to continue my education and now hold a BS in animal behavior and cognition. I have worked with dogs of all shapes, ages, sizes, breeds, and backgrounds…name it and I’ve probably done it or at least have a related funny story! I specialize in adult and senior dogs who exhibit behaviors such as reactivity, fear, aggression, and anxiety and dogs who have specialized health conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, gastrointestinal issues, joint pain, and cognitive decline. Given my background and specialty, I’m a huge advocate for consensual interactions and give the dogs in my care as much choice and autonomy as possible. I’m also a big fan of enrichment activities that encourage species typical behaviors and tailoring care to each individual dog’s unique needs. Dogs will always be my first love and I can’t wait to meet yours! I owned a business working with dogs full time and hope to continue that journey through Rover! I am available for 30 minute visits and hour long visits Monday-Friday from 9-6 and am available for overnight care + housesitting Monday-Sunday. As of right now, I am only available to care for animals at the clients home. I have found through experience that animals typically do better when in their own homes surrounded by familiar sights, sounds, and smells. This also allows me to follow the dog’s exact schedule and routine which aids in reducing any anxiety the dog might experience. I like to tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs. Some dogs love to power walk for an hour straight, others prefer to cuddle on the couch with a five minute potty break, and some prefer interactive playtime with lots of verbal praise! Each dog is unique and deserves an individual experience based on their needs and the clients needs.

About: I love animals, and have been taking care of dogs/cats since I was 12. I’m was a long term foster mom and have a ton of experience with volunteering for animals. I love walks/runs and giving animals enrichment time. I’d love to take great care of your fur babies. I’m a full time college student but only have 3 in person classes Monday-Thursday, from 9-12pm. Other than that I’m very free and available. My homework is easily completed anywhere and I like to leave free time in my days for exercise. I’m very neat and respectful of others home, making sure to keep yards/litter boxes clean and make sure that a space looks cleaner than I found it. I also don’t mind doing additional chores to be sure you and your fur baby are happy and comfortable.

About: I worked for a pet sitting company (Woofies) for about a year. I have worked with all different types of dogs and cats. I have also worked with hamsters, fish and guinea pigs. I average about 8-12 visits a week and about 40 a month. I am extremely flexible and reliable as well. I have had regular clients for months on end and made bonds with lots of pets. I am currently very available and willing to work around many schedules. I am used to planning day around visits and making times for the pets. I am used to house rules and regulation. I avoid areas specified and work hard to gain client trust. I follow all tasks listed and try to get to know the pet as well. I can do meals, medications, walks/potty breaks, playtime, light cleaning and more! I follow the instructions given by the client at all times.

About: Hi I’m Amy and I am from Ireland! I’ve been living in Virginia for the past 8 years. I am a grad student with a very flexible schedule! I have owned and cared for a range of dog breeds, from cocker spaniels to German shepherds. I even had a Great Dane for several years! No mess is too big! I’ve administered medications and love getting outdoors and would love to walk or drop into your pet! I adore cats and I have an American bobtail cat called Atlas 🐈‍⬛ Don’t have a dog or cat? ! I’ve cared for fish, ducks, pigeons, degus, a parrot and a flying squirrel! My daily routine is incredibly flexible as I am currently working on my PhD!
