About: For the last three years, I have taken care of several dogs in my neighborhood. Mostly walking them, at times several walks a day, and dogsitting as well. I am able to account for the needs of dogs and am able to safely walk them. I am also a proud owner of two beautiful cats, so I am familiar with the habits of cats and how to tend to their individual needs! All my neighbors view me as a trustworthy companion and caregiver for their furry friends It is currently my summertime before school so until mid-August I am mostly free every day. My availability will be dependent on variable day-to-day summer errands, but I will be sure to prioritize my furry clients! I will keep a leash on your pet at all times during the walk and be sure to provide them with anything, such as food, treats, or water after the walk.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

About: I’ve had pets nearly my whole life and have been known to struggle to walk past an animal in need. This means rescuing an injured squirrel, a Cooper’s hawk, an opossum, and more, going the extra mile even when it was deeply inconvenient for me to do so. I also grew up attending zoo camp and then volunteering at a zoo from age 5 to 14, caring for a wide range of animals. I have worked with high energy pitties, a blind and anxious German shepherd, birds, cuddly kitties, fearful kitties, diabetic kitties, rabbits, and others. I have administered shots, IVs, medications, eye drops, and more. I am persistent and typically can win over even the shyest and most anxious fur baby. I have a genuine love for caring for pets and would be honored to care for yours! I am currently carefully thinking about my next full time role and working part time. My partner is an immigrant seeking employment during a time when that is extremely difficult due to the political situation. Any supplemental income is incredibly helpful for me as we navigate. I have a reliable vehicle, plenty of time to play with your pets, and love to love on them. I have a reliable car and I keep my word. I am communicative, honest, and truly love animals. I take direction well and understand that every pet has their specific needs. I don’t cut corners and do my best to provide top notch care, always.

About: I love animals, and have been taking care of dogs/cats since I was 12. I’m was a long term foster mom and have a ton of experience with volunteering for animals. I love walks/runs and giving animals enrichment time. I’d love to take great care of your fur babies. I’m a full time college student but only have 3 in person classes Monday-Thursday, from 9-12pm. Other than that I’m very free and available. My homework is easily completed anywhere and I like to leave free time in my days for exercise. I’m very neat and respectful of others home, making sure to keep yards/litter boxes clean and make sure that a space looks cleaner than I found it. I also don’t mind doing additional chores to be sure you and your fur baby are happy and comfortable.

About: I grew up with our family's miniature dachshund since I was 12 years old. During that time, I learned to take care of her and what it takes to be a good dog owner. Don't tell my family, but I'm definitely my dog's favorite! Growing up, I was always the go-to dog, cat, and one time a mini pig, sitter for friends and family. Taking care of animals has always been a passion for me! Since I moved out of my parents' home, I'm no longer directly in charge of taking care of my family dog, but I have now adopted a cat. I have always felt a special connection to dogs, and I am happy to say I feel that way about cats now too. I work full-time; however, I live close to my job and have flexibility when it comes to coming home to take care of any pets. I also have my afternoons free! I believe pets have different ways they like being loved; some are more social, while others need their space. I do a good job of understanding what a pet likes, and I will always provide the best care possible.

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, from puppies to senior dogs and even very large breeds. I worked at Dulles Pet Hotel & Daycare, where I provided attentive care, maintained clean and safe environments, administered medications, and monitored the health and behavior of all pets in my care. Beyond professional experience, I have been dog-sitting for multiple families throughout high school and continue to do so while in college, providing everything from walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and administering medications. I love pet sitting because I strive to give the best care, I provide the type of pet care I would want my puppy to have. (and I love my dog with my whole heart, she’s my baby)I also have my own dog, which has given me daily hands-on experience with training, care, and attention. I also love love love big dogs, I used to have a Mastiff growing up which made me fall in love with dogs! My class schedule is fairly light, which gives me plenty of flexible time to walk, play with, and care for a furry friend throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening care depending on your dog’s needs. I currently live on campus in a dorm room, but back at home, we take excellent care of our puppy! She has a spacious playpen where she can run, play, sleep, and do whatever her heart desires. I bring the same love, attention, and care to every dog I look after in their home!

About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs. Once the school year starts I will still be available! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. I also try to be very thorough with the pet care instructions and will ask questions/for clarification to ensure I am giving your pet the best care as possible.

About: I frequently dogsit for friends and family, and I've had my soul-dog for 5 years! She's a rescue shepherd-husky mix and has taught me SO much about training and caring for a smart, high-energy dog! She's entering her senior years and has slowed down a lot, which means I have more time in my day to care for other pups, whether it's a check-in, walk, or boarding in my home. I have a fenced front and back yard, and with my location in Church Hill, there are countless places to walk and explore. I currently work from home 95% of the time! The other 5% is a mix of working at coffee shops and going in to my work's coworking space, but I'm never away from home for more than 8 hours a day. My days are very flexible and I'm happy to work around you and your pup's schedule! I have a fenced front yard that is grassy and a shady, fenced back patio/yard that pups can run around in. I only take 1 boarding or day-care client at a time, so your dog gets my full attention (alongside my pup!). Your dog must be friendly around other dogs for boarding or day care.
