Cozy Care For Your Pup!
I frequently dogsit for friends and family, and I've had my soul-dog for 5 years! She's a rescue shepherd-husky mix and has taught me SO much about training and caring for a smart, high-energy dog! She's entering her senior years and has slowed down a lot, which means I have more time in my day to care for other pups, whether it's a check-in, walk, or boarding in my home. I have a fenced front and back yard, and with my location in Church Hill, there are countless places to walk and explore.

Ryan is amazing with my Australian mini labradoodle, Milo. He has anxiety about multiple things and she handles his needs with calmness and supportive measures, even when he has to just be touching her. Milo loves her and loves being at her house. It has become a second home for him when I’m working long hours or going out of town.

Schedule
I currently work from home 95% of the time! The other 5% is a mix of working at coffee shops and going in to my work's coworking space, but I'm never away from home for more than 8 hours a day. My days are very flexible and I'm happy to work around you and your pup's schedule!

I have a fenced front yard that is grassy and a shady, fenced back patio/yard that pups can run around in. I only take 1 boarding or day-care client at a time, so your dog gets my full attention (alongside my pup!). Your dog must be friendly around other dogs for boarding or day care.

A typical day
I work and live in Church Hill, so I love to take pups with me on long walks around the neighborhood to get all of the good sights and sniffs! If they’re comfortable with coffee shop outings, I’ll bring them along to Union Market, Peaberry, or Riverbend for a bit of socialization (and a pup cup!). If your pup prefers to be less social, I have a grassy front yard to play fetch in or they can people-watch from the porch. If napping is their favorite activity, I have dog beds and blankets and yea, they’re welcome on the couch for snuggles!

- I'd like to know how comfortable they are in public and around people, how active they are, anything that frightens them or causes them to become protective or irritated. I have a senior husky-shepherd mix who is grumbly and with new dog visitors, so a dog who takes correction well from other dogs is important if they are staying in the home with me and my girl.
