About: I am a recent graduate from The University of Virginia who grew up in an animal-loving home. I am an attentive pet sitter and dog walker with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and in-home care, focusing on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining their normal routines. I’ve grown up caring for animals and currently have a friendly Bichon and two cats of my own, so I understand how important trust, consistency, and individualized care are. My experience includes daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic grooming, litter box care, and administering simple medications when needed. I’m especially patient with shy, senior, or anxious pets and always take a calm, respectful approach. I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule. About: I've been dog-walking and cat sitting since I was about 13-14 years old! I've cared for a range of dogs and cats, from young to old, and everything in between. I also have lots of experience with big dogs in particular. My family has had labs since I can remember, and I've cared for and walked two big dogs at the same time. I currently work from home, and usually have a pretty flexible schedule most days a week, so I'd be happy to fit your pet into my schedule! I do occasionally have a public involvement meeting that requires me to be elsewhere during the day, but happy to plan far in advance with you to make sure your pet's care needs are met. I provide a safe environment by making sure your pet is in a place they know best - their and your home. I find that pets who are in their own space are the most comfortable. I also have experience with needing to provide pills to cats, and can crate trained pups.

About: For the last three years, I have taken care of several dogs in my neighborhood. Mostly walking them, at times several walks a day, and dogsitting as well. I am able to account for the needs of dogs and am able to safely walk them. I am also a proud owner of two beautiful cats, so I am familiar with the habits of cats and how to tend to their individual needs! All my neighbors view me as a trustworthy companion and caregiver for their furry friends It is currently my summertime before school so until mid-August I am mostly free every day. My availability will be dependent on variable day-to-day summer errands, but I will be sure to prioritize my furry clients! I will keep a leash on your pet at all times during the walk and be sure to provide them with anything, such as food, treats, or water after the walk.

About: I have been taking care of dogs (and cats) since I was old enough to walk. I have extensive experience with younger dogs and senior dogs. My senior dog passed recently, but through her I gained experience in handling leash and dog aggression, administering medicine, and making her comfortable in later years. I am trained in leash walking aggressive dogs, and I have experience with being firm for training. Your dog will enjoy long walks, lots of pets, and playful energy staying with me. I love animals and I always look to put their best interests first. I work full time from home, which allows me flexibility through the day to care for pets. While I have other hobbies, one of my favorite things to do is walk through Richmond, so your dog will be happily exhausted after staying with me! I live in a two level, large apartment. I do not have any other pets or children, so your fur baby will be our number one priority! My home is near Byrd park and other great neighborhoods to walk in. Your pet will be allowed on the couch, but I am happy to crate them if you’re more comfortable. I do not smoke and keep a very tidy home, so your pet will be safe under my care.

I raised my next bestie from the day she was born until she crossed the rainbow bridge, and I’ve loved my Fiona for nearly 14 years. I also grew up with a family dog and helped care for him while living at home and during college breaks. That included feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I currently work freelance and have a very flexible schedule so my days are built around what bookings I have in a given week. I moved to Richmond a few months ago to begin graduate school, but because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I had to leave my own dogs with my parents. I miss spending time with them dearly, so I would love the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. Because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I’m unable to provide pet-care services in my own home. However, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I will carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and any other parts of your pet’s usual routine. I’ll treat your home respectfully, give your pet plenty of attention and affection, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your loved one is safe and well cared for.
