“Teddy had a great time in Sheri's Doggie Day Care. He does best with just people right now and Sheri's fits the bill. She and her kids took great care of Teddy and kept him safe. We'll be back, for sure!”

Brad M.

“Brad and his fiancé were so amazing and accommodated my (large) dog on a very last minute request for doggy daycare. They were very flexible and understanding of my unpredictable schedule. My dog was super happy, went on a walk, played in their big back yard, and relaxed on the couch. I would absolutely recommend and will 100% be using them again <3”

About: I have a small well behaved hound who welcomes visitors and new friends. I take great pride in caring for pets as if they are my own. Pets are our best friends and they need reliable and thoughtful care to ensure they have an awesome day. I'm flexible and understanding. Every pet is different and has their own needs and routine. I am patient with a strong attention to detail. My dog can be a little nervous at times so I understand that patience and nurturing are an important role in pet care. I would be thrilled to be a part of your dog's love and care either planned or last minute. Feel free to ontact me to discuss you're pet needs. Thank you for your consideration.

Brittany Z.
“Brittany has watched my 6-year old, Chihuahua mix several times and does SUCH a good job. She has separation anxiety and can be angsty around strangers, but Brittany does a good job of keeping her safe and calming her nerves. I've also seen firsthand how highly attentive and loving she is to her own cat. I would absolutely leave my pup with Brittany again for a walk, daycare, or overnight!”

Nicole S.
“I wanted to take the opportunity to update our review. Our pup, Stella, has been doing daycare with Niki since she was 9 weeks old. Stella always has a blast and Niki’s pups are great with her. Niki always updates us on any activities (a puppy play date or anything like that). Great experience.”

Katherine H.
“Katherine has watched my two dogs at least ten times and is always professional, kind, and loves the boys as her own! She pays attention to detail and follows all of the “overbearing dog mom” directions I give. :) It’s a bonus that she takes and shares so many pictures and provides updates on how they’re doing before I ever even have to ask!”

Karli M.
“Karli was awesome with my pets (2 dogs and 4 cats) She did drop in visits multiple times a day, was on time and sent me lots of pictures. My pets we well taken care of while I was away! Would definitely book with her again!”

Ingrid Paola Q.

About: I’m 28, and I have taken care of many family animals and I’d love to commit to be your pets sitter. I’ll make sure that your pet is treated like my own and they’ll never lack love and care. I’m pet sitting full time. I’m gone about 3-4 hours a day total. So I have plenty of time to spend with your pet ! I live in a 1 bedroom apartment but I love going outside so I definitely have plenty of room to play with animals. We can walk to a nearby park.

Henry E.
“Henry has watched our dog in the past as a friend and is great at it. She’s a big Great Dane mix and isn’t always the easiest but he does well with her. He’s a good sitter!”

About: I have worked with dogs and cats for most of my life. I have volunteered at shelters growing up and enjoy helping animals in need. I take care of dogs and cats house sitting for several people locally in Richmond. I also have experience with basic dog training and grooming. Most of all, I truly enjoy giving some TLC to the “fur babies”! I’m available, it’s just that easy! I’m working part-time from home. I wake up early every day and I’m very reliable. I will take good care of your animal/animals. I care for an individual pet exactly how my client wishes. Keeping a routine is important for a pet’s health and wellbeing while their owner is gone. Lots of attention and TLC!

About: Puppy sitting for my perfect nephew (Rocky) for the last five years in San Diego inspired me to help others in Richmond now that I call it my home. In college I fostered kittens that were too young to be adopted to help build socialization skills with people. I grew up always having both a dog and cat in the home and can’t wait to rescue someone of my own here soon 😊. I currently work from home all weekdays, but do plan travel typically 1x per month. I live an active life and love the outdoors, long walks and hikes. I am happily available for boarding, daycare or walks any day of the week. Advance notice to schedule boarding is greatly appreciated to plan ahead with my schedule. My home is a single story, 3 bedroom house with a fenced in backyard and quiet street full of neighborhood fur friends to meet along our walks!

Salís D.

“Salis was great! She took time to do a meet and greet ahead of time for my anxious and reactive dog. She responded quickly and sent me updates throughout the day. She said Cassidy got along well with her and her roommates. We have already booked more stays with her!”

Dora K.

“Dora came through in a pinch and was very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Dolcé quickly made herself very comfortable and looked to enjoy time with Dora's dog, Moo. I'd definitely recommend and book again.”

Ross G.
“Ross is great with our 3 y/o dog, Pimento! Pimento is always SO excited to see Ross, probably in part because he knows time with Ross = a lot of ball play! Ross is super kind and professional, and I would highly recommend him as a caregiver to your pet!”

Anna D.
“Anna has taken care of my dog on multiple occasions. My dog does not like everyone but she loves Anna. She will not only watch your dog but will entertain and keep your dog happy while you are gone. She treats other animals like her own which is exactly what you are looking for in a dog sitter on Rover.com.”

Dana P.
About: From growing up with a family Labrador to raising a service dog in training with my college roommates to taking care of my neighbors’ and friends’ furry friends, I have ample experience caring for pets! I take my Rover bookings seriously and make sure to remain constantly reachable, clarify any questions promptly, and leave each space in great condition upon the completion of my stay. I would love to show your pets some love in your absence while they are missing their main squeeze so you are able to enjoy your time away from them and come home to well cared for dogs and kitties. I work from home with a generally flexible schedule that allows for pet attention, walks, and potty breaks. I am usually pretty flexible on weekends as well. It’s important to meet the animals where they are socially. Happy to give energetic belly rubs or connect with your pet through a little pat pat on the head and some kissy noises. Open to fluffy cuddles while your pet helps me work or mutual solitude on opposite sides of the same room- whatever your pet is feeling, I will adapt to it. Happy to crate animals if and when needed. Will take your pet out for frequent potty breaks. Happily will go on morning and/or afternoon walks with your pet. Will send as many play date pictures as you desire.

Matt D.

“It was our first time booking Matt and he exceeded our expectations! He took great care of our active beagle and sent the best pics and videos. Cado also got along great and played well with his dog Ben. Looking forward to booking Matt again in the future. Thanks again!”

Sydney L.

“My dog Ross has spent the day with Sydney and Lulu twice now for daycare and clearly loves it! Sydney is respectful of any rules I have for care/training and I appreciate the pictures/videos throughout the day to see what they’re up to. Ross has come home happy, healthy, and exhausted each time!!”
