About: I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're actually really lovely!) I come from a long line of animal lovers. My great grandparents had a 'farm' when they retired and this was truly a haven for unwanted animals. Many animals they cared for were abandoned hunting dogs. When visiting as a kid, the lovely mutts became my best pals, and some of my fondest memories are piling in the back of a pickup truck with the dogs, exploring the woods and creek beds, and watching thunderstorms with them. I now have a one year old lab mix and 3 cats in my home. Many photos are of my late dog, Quinn, who made it impossible to live without a dog in the home. I have a flexible job that allows me to work from home, so I am flexible with pick-up and drop-off times unless otherwise communicated. I am in RVA most weekends as well. I have a fenced backyard and a dog and 2 cats. The cats have been around other dogs, and Eddy the dog loves other dogs- he has lots of energy to share!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I work remote so I can always be available for your little buddy! I work remote, so I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. I always take frequent breaks throughout the day to stretch my legs and get some sun. Whatever you need, I’ll make sure your pet is well loved and appreciated! My apartment is always very clean and very spacious. I also live right next to a park and go for walks by myself regularly. Whenever I watch my friends animals, I bring my own food and activities and leave the place better than I found it.

About: I have owned dogs almost my whole life. Growing up many neighbors and friends trusted me to dogsit for them without issue. I am very accommodating and try to be understanding of the dogs emotions. I’m currently unemployed, so I can devote all of my time to your pet. I am able to bring my dog almost everywhere with me and yours could too. We have a spacious apartment with a nice balcony with turf in case of emergencies (my dog never needs it but it’s been helpful with other dogs). I try not to let the dogs get bored by playing with them and bringing them with me wherever I go.

About: Growing up (into now) I’ve had a variety of animals ranging from small fish to sugar gliders. Now, it’s just me and my doggy and we would love to have your fur babies company! Currently pursing this in a full time aspect! I am able to be around to keep your pet entertained, fed, and cared for. Your pets comfort is my number one priority. I have a gated yard (from Amazon, nothing spectacular). I also have a 5 year old dog who loves to play or just chill. Perfect friend for your pet!

“Toffee could not have been happier to return to Amanda's for some last minute day care.”

About: Puppy sitting for my perfect nephew (Rocky) for the last five years in San Diego inspired me to help others in Richmond now that I call it my home. In college I fostered kittens that were too young to be adopted to help build socialization skills with people. I grew up always having both a dog and cat in the home and can’t wait to rescue someone of my own here soon 😊. I live and work in the Willow Lawn area and love to get out for many walks. I live an active life and love the outdoors. I am happily available for boarding, daycare or walks but currently prefer weekends over weekdays as I work from an office down the road from home. Advance notice to schedule boarding is greatly appreciated to plan ahead with my schedule. It is just me at home with a fenced in spacious backyard and quiet street full of neighborhood fur friends to meet along our walks!

“My Brother is one of the most reliable and caring people I know. Especially when it comes to pets. We have had 4 cats over the years, and still have two now. He loves them so much! He loves taking care of them, from feeding and bathing them, be even makes sure they go to the vet and is always playing with them. He has truly treated our pets and all the animals he comes across as family. I sometimes call him the pet whisperer because they seem to be so comfortable around him! So rest assured if you hire him , the pets he has in his care will be in the best hands possible.”

Carytown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jordan took great care of Lola. She was friendly, flexible, and communicative. Lola had a wonderful day with her and Callie May. It's clear she felt very comfortable and at home.

Kat was literally a LIFESAVER. I needed someone to watch my anxious boy last minute and she agreed to watch him so quickly and took such good care of him. Communication was excellent too!

My dog was very comfortable staying at Rose’s house for the day. She sent lots of photos and updates too. We’re looking forward to booking her again!

Reese's stay was amazing with Nicholas and his pup! Our girl is high energy and came home tired and happy. We got pictures of her having her best day both outside playing and inside napping, which we appreciated on this hot summer day. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you!

Nelly loved Katelynn! She was exhausted when I picked her up and Katelynn updated me all day with pictures and videos! I have no complaints and would recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her again 😊

Nelly loved Allison! She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos of my girl. Made my workday much smoother knowing she was in such good hands. Nelly was worn out and slept all the way home. Will definitely be recommending her and requesting her again ☺️

Kristen was extremely flexible last minute but my schedule changed again and did not end up needing the service. Despite the inconvenience to her, she was very professional. I would highly recommend her to others simply for her communication and professionalism.

Emily was so great! She sent many updates of Sarabi which I loved. She made sure she was loved for the day while she was in her care. Will definitely be booking her again.

Lydie was absolutely amazing. Lydie's warm, engaging personality and her deep knowledge of dogs made for a wonderful stay. Betty's pictures told the story, she enjoyed her time completely. Everything went perfectly and Lydie accommodated our schedule. Thank you again.

Dom is great! His cool, easy going attitude was a perfect pairing for my anxious pup. When it was time to pick my dog up he hopped right back up on Dom's couch like he had moved in and was going to stay!

I highly recommend TC & Sage's Doggy Day Care! TC & Sage responded right away to my request on Rover and even invited my Bubby and me over for a meet-and-greet with them and their sweet, mellow pug Nike the day before, which I'm sure made my dog feel more comfortable when I dropped him off for day care. I recently adopted a 3 year old shih tzu - poodle mix who is affectionate and smart but not very well trained and a bit of a handful, so I was worried about how he'd behave. I didn't have to worry for long because TC texted me frequent updates and pics, and I could see Bubby was relaxed and having fun playing with Nike. That evening when we got home we worked on some leash training, and he was more attentive and did better than ever before - clearly having had a fulfilling day at day care. Also, TC & Sage are very friendly, honest, funny, and will make you and your dog feel very comfortable in their super cool space.
