About: I have been around dogs my whole life, but I really fell in love with them when I adopted a rescue English bulldog named Gary seven years ago. He was an incredibly unique dog who came with his challenges in many ways, including leash aggression, fear of other dogs, and many health issues in his elderly years. He taught me so much about caring for our furry friends in many ways and prepared me for whatever they throw our way! I've missed him very much since his passing, and I'm looking to meet some new doggos to get my fill on companionship. I work from home, and I'm generally quite flexible to pop in for visits or walks. I usually only travel on weekends if I do at all. Having cared for a senior bulldog with myriad health issues, I am very attentive to diet, medications, physical challenges, etc. I am detail-oriented and take instructions seriously. I love to pet, play, and give extra love when visiting with dogs!

About: For the last three years, I have taken care of several dogs in my neighborhood. Mostly walking them, at times several walks a day, and dogsitting as well. I am able to account for the needs of dogs and am able to safely walk them. I am also a proud owner of two beautiful cats, so I am familiar with the habits of cats and how to tend to their individual needs! All my neighbors view me as a trustworthy companion and caregiver for their furry friends It is currently my summertime before school so until mid-August I am mostly free every day. My availability will be dependent on variable day-to-day summer errands, but I will be sure to prioritize my furry clients! I will keep a leash on your pet at all times during the walk and be sure to provide them with anything, such as food, treats, or water after the walk.

About: Hi, I'm Emily! I've been drawn to animals of all kinds since I was a kid! I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs, and have had a dog of my own since 2021. I'm well-versed in animal care; in addition to the basics (walks, feeding, play), I'm familiar with many common needs, like medication administration, training/behavioral reinforcement, and gland expression. I have a flexible schedule and typically respond to requests within a few hours. I'm able to spend a lot of my time at home; usually when I'm out of the apartment, it's for no more than about four hours or so at a time. My standard schedule is to provide three walks a day (morning, midday, evening) plus a quick potty break before bedtime, but I can adjust that up or down depending on your dog's needs. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of pets, cuddles, and playtime. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed, but if that's a behavior you're trying to limit, I can take that into account while your pet is staying here. At all times, and especially when outside, the safety of your pet is paramount to me. During walks, I actively monitor for dangerous situations/behaviors, like encounters with unfamiliar dogs or trying to eat things they shouldn't. Please feel free to share anything about your pet that I should take into account while they're in my care.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

About: I have experience caring for both puppies (even during potty training) and senior pets with special medication and mobility needs. I have pet sat for numerous families with senior pets and have been successful in meeting all needs and providing the best care possible. I would love to do the same for your pet! I am in my 4th year of medical school, so my schedule is more flexible than an average full time job. I often have odd shifts or hours, so I can tend to pets at times where others may not be able to! I am willing to fit caring for your pet into my schedule however I can. I currently have 1 cat who lives in my apartment. I am so excited for the day we move to a home where we can build him a cat patio (or catio as we lovingly refer to it as), but for now he loves sitting in the window and seeing all of the sights outside! I would be willing to travel wherever needed to pet sit or do pet check-ins/potty breaks/walks. I would care for your animal just like it was my own. My goal is to meet all of your pet's needs, from physical to emotional and psychological. About: I grew up with our family's miniature dachshund since I was 12 years old. During that time, I learned to take care of her and what it takes to be a good dog owner. Don't tell my family, but I'm definitely my dog's favorite! Growing up, I was always the go-to dog, cat, and one time a mini pig, sitter for friends and family. Taking care of animals has always been a passion for me! Since I moved out of my parents' home, I'm no longer directly in charge of taking care of my family dog, but I have now adopted a cat. I have always felt a special connection to dogs, and I am happy to say I feel that way about cats now too. I work full-time; however, I live close to my job and have flexibility when it comes to coming home to take care of any pets. I also have my afternoons free! I believe pets have different ways they like being loved; some are more social, while others need their space. About: I prefer to go by Cameron (he/him). Since I can remember I have been caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, ages, and abilities. When I was in middle school my mom became involved in The Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue and we brought home many dogs to foster and officially adopt. Throughout my childhood I cared for blind dogs, deaf dogs, and dogs that struggle with seizure disorders. Now that I'm all moved out I have a long haired four year old cat named Fester. I'm helping my roommate raise her kitten and coparenting Benny my partner's Boston Terrier from the SCBTR. I'm currently returning to the workforce after recovering from top surgery so my schedule is very open. While I don't have a car at the moment I do have a bike plus I live in a convenient place to catch the bus. I don't currently have any fall trips planned so I should be here in Richmond area for quite a while. I don't take pets home with me to care for them. I am more than happy to come to you or take your pets to park based on what you would prefer. I am happy to feed, play with, and walk your pet as well as administer any extra care they may need.
