“Kristen did a great job walking Bo this weekend. She communicated every time and even let me add on an extra day. We would definitely use her again!”

“Very impressive. Great caregiver for pets! My dogs love her visits. I highly recommend her to anyone needing pet care assistance.”

About: I grew up feeding both my mastiff mix Lilly and cat Kitty and walking Lilly daily. In college, I took care of a husky-mix, walking and feeding him daily. I’m currently working part-time so my schedule is pretty flexible! I am available for walks and feedings and can come check on your pet any time. I have experience with crate-training and know and will always strive to respect your personal house rules. I understand each and every pet parent has their own special relationship with their pets and I want to honor that as best as I can.

“Sophie was great with Chef! Quickly responded to messages and gave Chef a great long walk even on a gloomy day. She was very detail oriented and gave great care to our big guy. Would love to have her spend time with Chef again.”

“Avery is very sweet and attentive to Goldie. She can over early in the first walk to sit and slow Goldie to get comfortable with her. Loved all the photos and feedback about my dog.”

“Amy jumped in when we needed a walker last minute. She communicated well, was on time, and we came home to two happy pups. Our pups can be difficult on the leash and Amy did a great job managing them. We look forward to working with her again.”

“Sydney was amazing with my sweet dog PJ. I came to Richmond from out of town for a few days and was grateful to coordinate several dog walks with Sydney. PJ is not a city dog, so I was a little hesitant on how best to handle downtown Richmond. Sydney knows the area well as a VCU student, and she was able to find green space and waterfront walks for PJ. She also did well to secure arrangements with me on short notice. I will certainly reach out to her again on my next visit to Richmond. Thanks Sydney!”

“Amanda did an awesome job walking my dog Bosco! She was great at communicating over the app and really managed to win over my nervous dog. I would 100% have her watch my pets again!”

“Sarah instantly hit it off with our dog and has been super responsive and reliable for a last minute trip! Well definitely be using her to again:)”

“Lila was a joy, and the relief I needed in my busy work week! I have never used Rover before, but booked her for a week of walks when I was in a scheduling pinch. She was very reliable, arriving right on time each day, and provided me a fun summary of my dogs’ demeanors...and was always very pleasant (even though I’m sure my puppy was a handful at times!). Thanks so much Lila, I would highly recommend you.”

About: I have had animals my entire life. I currently have 2 cats of my own; Binx and Luci. I have 10+ years of dog and cat sitting experience. I am an animal lover and want to take care of your pets so you won’t have to worry! My own cat has medical issues so I am comfortable giving oral medications to pets. I can also do house sitting things like watering plants, getting the mail, etc… I would love to care for your pets! **I am a teacher and have open availability in June and July but my schedule will change come August so I cannot do mid day drops in long term!** I am a teacher and have my summers and breaks off and would love to spend them taking care of your pets! I can also intermittently dog walk or pet sit during the school year. I am incredibly responsible and respectful. I am also a huge animal lover and know how to care for animals. I have a high standard for who takes care of my pets and I promise to deliver the same level of care I would expect for my own pets!

About: I’m new to Rover, but I have provided in-home pet care for over a decade. I can’t own a dog of my own quite yet, so please let me take excellent care of yours! I work from home multiple days per week with plenty of flexibility for potty breaks, long walks, and playtime. Weekends are ideal for in-home care, but I’ll usually accommodate longer bookings too! Your pup(s) and I will become fast friends after a few treats, walks, and belly rubs. I’ll look after them in your home like any gracious guest would.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple breeds and of varying ages. I’ve also helped train my own puppy, as well as friends’ dogs, the basics like potty training, sit, etc. I’m quite comfortable with puppies under 1 year old all the way to our senior friends. I’m currently a full-time dog mom and pet caretaker. I just graduated from grad school and don’t start my new job until this fall, and I thought - what a better way to spend my summer off taking care of my favorite animal and helping other pet owners? I’m an open communicator and can be available how you need me with the proper heads-up! I live in an apartment building with my fiancé and our sweet, cuddly boy dog (neutered). There’s 3 parks within walking distance and a dog park just an 8min drive away. Since I live in an apartment, I would recommend only small to medium dogs stay with us, but I’m always willing to travel to clients’ houses for dogs of all sizes. I treat my clients dogs as if they were my own fur baby. The love, kindness, & attention I give my sweet boy is the same love, kindness, & attention your dog will receive. My friend is also a vet tech I can always reach out to for advice/questions and I myself am a certified (human) healthcare professional.

About: From fish to birds, cats to dogs - animals have long been a part of my life. I’ve cared for many types of animals, all at various stages of their life. For me, caring for animals is understanding their personalities and tailoring their care to them. I currently work remotely/at home, making me potentially available during the week for visits, walks, or a watchful eye. Weekends may also be available, on a situational basis. My home has open areas for play or lounging, a fenced in back court area, and walk-able areas around town for fresh air. Within the clients home, I’m open to specific care rules and want to provide a consistent level of care the pet is used to.

“As always, had a great experience with Chloe. My two dogs were happy to see her, and she was able to accommodate their sickness with a couple extra care steps. She's super easy to work with and great with the pets.”

She has helped many people with the pet's when they need care in their owners' absences. She has my highest endorsement.”
