About: Got my first dog at 8 years old and have been hooked ever since. Trained my labrador retriever to be special needs certified when he was 2. Been helping pet parents around the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Always love to meet new people and their furry friends! Currently based in Richmond, VA as a Junior at VCU. Slowly finishing up my finals so my availability is becoming more and more flexible! My classes officially end May 5th so I’ll be completely free then! Pet care is very case sensitive and relies on the owners understanding of their pet. Hoping to connect with owners about their pet’s specific needs and provide that care to them to the best of my ability, whatever it may be!

Of course, we also love cozy downtime, so there’s always space for blanket cuddles and belly rubs. Your dog will be treated like part of our family, with a balance of activity, companionship, and comfort. In your home, we stick to all your guidelines and expectations, making sure everything stays secure and exactly as we found it. At our house, we ask that pups are potty trained since we have carpet upstairs, but don’t worry, I work from home, so your dog can enjoy frequent trips to our fenced backyard for playtime, potty breaks, or fresh-air fun. Whether at your home or ours, your pup will get lots of love, attention, and wag-worthy adventures!

I ask that you describe in detail how to best set your dog up for success during my time with them and what their typical triggers are so that I keep your pup safe and happy. I’m a young professional living in central Richmond VA. I live a leisure lifestyle outside of work in event planning that includes many walks, plant gardening, and reading. I am also known for the occasional hike! Weekends are usually free as well as pockets of time throughout the day and evenings. Dogs are allowed anywhere in my home! I openly welcome couch snuggles (unless owner would rather place and mat training in place). I want to make my space as comfortable as possible for our furry guests, so will make any accommodations necessary for a relaxing stay with me!

About: I've always taken care of my dogs growing up. My dog right now requires a very in depth feeding and medication regimen. She is 13 years old and has a special diet with a very timed out schedule for her medications. I also have experience with young dogs/puppies. I have lots of experience with older cats and a little with kittens, but not a ton. I work in food service during the day, so I have tons of time in the afternoon/evening and night to care for your pets! I can also move my schedule around if needed I've had dogs throughout all my life that have had vastly different temperaments, so I know how to care for animals of all kinds.

I have plenty of experience watching dogs of varying breeds, from Corgis, to labs, to Border Collies and everything in between. I also have experience petsitting dogs with varying needs. I am reliable and willing to go above and beyond to ensure your pets’ happiness and care. When it comes to scheduling I am flexible. I am able to show up to walk and feed your pets, and willing to house sit for an extended period of time and spend overnight if need be with some advanced notice. I am not able to board pets, but willing to care in clients’ homes including overnight. I like to leave things as I found them, and follow instructions verbatim as left by the owner. Can crate dogs if needed.
