About: I grew up on a farm and have cared for dogs and cats since I was 12. I moved to Richmond a few months ago to begin graduate school, but because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I had to leave my own dogs with my parents. I also have experience working at a doggie daycare, where I cared for dogs with different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I miss spending time with them dearly, so I would love the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. It would be a privilege to give your furry family member the same care, attention, and affection I give my own animals. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I can plan walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins around my classes and schoolwork, giving each pet the attention they deserve. I also enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so taking dogs on walks would fit naturally into my routine. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule to help them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. Because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I’m unable to provide pet-care services in my own home. However, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I will carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and any other parts of your pet’s usual routine. I’ll treat your home respectfully, give your pet plenty of attention and affection, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your loved one is safe and well cared for.

About: I’ve been watching both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors for a few years now, and now that I have more flexibility in my schedule I would love to provide my services to others! I work fully remotely and have a ton of flexibility to take care of your pets! If i’m not on vacation, i’m usually free to help :) I live in an apartment with my two-year-old chihuahua mix, Archie! Plenty of opportunities to run around the fenced dog area or ride over to a trail or park for more activity. About: Since I’m new to Richmond, I have a flexible schedule and love getting out to explore the neighborhood with dogs! I have a dog of my own (Honey) and we love exploring the Fan and Carytown so far. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs as well 🐶 I work a remote position that’s pretty flexible so I’m able to make daily drop-in visits and walk neighborhood dogs throughout the week and sometimes on the weekends I try to make things feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pet by sticking to their routine. Whether that’s walks, meals, or just hanging out, I adjust to what they need. I’m big on updates (and cute photos), and I’m always careful about safety in and out of the home. Being a dog mom to Honey, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that seriously.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats all my life and have always had pets since I was a kid. I’m really friendly with my friends’ pets and sometimes I’m more excited to see their pets than them😂. I’ve watched over some of my friends’ pets from time to time (cats and dogs). I have experience with both small dogs and large dogs as my one dog is a miniature dachshund, and my other is a Great Dane/German Shepherd Mix. I’m in college but I have fairly big gaps in between my classes so I have time to care for pets whether it’s a walk, visit, to play, etc. I’m fairly perceptive of pet moods and, especially with cats, can tell when pets wanna be left alone or want to play. My pets all have different personalities so I can adapt fairly well to different personalities. I let pets out regularly and am down to play if they’re bored.

About: Hello there! I'm Jessica. I have a long, lifelong passion and love for taking care of dogs and cats. I pride myself on being able to work with all breeds, ages, and backgrounds of dogs, from disabled dogs or rescue dogs. Every dog has its own personality and quirks. I take time to understand their boundaries and needs, and tailor their walks and playtime to them. I understand that every dog is unique, so is their schedule, such as requirements, favorite activities and preferences. I'm happy to adjust accordingly. I will give frequent updates on our walk or drop in from how they are feeling and new pictures to share our time together. After our walk I will ensure they have fresh clean water and feel safe and comfortable. I have spent many years caring for different dogs with different temperaments. I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to handle various situations. I can understand a dog's body language to detect anxiety, stress, and even aggression. I carry a spare leash and use appropriate sturdy leash, collar and harness. I will keep updates with you and keep emergency contacts such as the dog's Vet if provided and I will always immediately contact you if an emergency arises.

About: I have trained and cared for my golden retriever, Phoebe, since she was adopted. Along with that I have assisted my friends and family with pet sitting, walks, and care for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been a dog lover, and would love to help anyone I can with assistance, while also getting to meet some cute pups! Because it is summer I am free everyday! Meaning I have plenty of time to play with, walk, and keep your pups company! I will work around your schedule I have a fenced in yard, and take my dog on a walk every morning and evening, as well as to the park as much as possible.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!
