About: Hi, I'm Emily! I've been drawn to animals of all kinds since I was a kid! I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs, and have had a dog of my own since 2021. I'm well-versed in animal care; in addition to the basics (walks, feeding, play), I'm familiar with many common needs, like medication administration, training/behavioral reinforcement, and gland expression. I have a flexible schedule and typically respond to requests within a few hours. I'm able to spend a lot of my time at home; usually when I'm out of the apartment, it's for no more than about four hours or so at a time. My standard schedule is to provide three walks a day (morning, midday, evening) plus a quick potty break before bedtime, but I can adjust that up or down depending on your dog's needs. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of pets, cuddles, and playtime. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed, but if that's a behavior you're trying to limit, I can take that into account while your pet is staying here. At all times, and especially when outside, the safety of your pet is paramount to me. During walks, I actively monitor for dangerous situations/behaviors, like encounters with unfamiliar dogs or trying to eat things they shouldn't. Please feel free to share anything about your pet that I should take into account while they're in my care.

About: For the last three years, I have taken care of several dogs in my neighborhood. Mostly walking them, at times several walks a day, and dogsitting as well. I am able to account for the needs of dogs and am able to safely walk them. About: I work full time as a Registered Nurse, but I have a love for all animals and would love to hang with your fur babies on my days off. About: I prefer to go by Cameron (he/him). Since I can remember I have been caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, ages, and abilities. When I was in middle school my mom became involved in The Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue and we brought home many dogs to foster and officially adopt. Throughout my childhood I cared for blind dogs, deaf dogs, and dogs that struggle with seizure disorders. Now that I'm all moved out I have a long haired four year old cat named Fester. I'm helping my roommate raise her kitten and coparenting Benny my partner's Boston Terrier from the SCBTR. I'm currently returning to the workforce after recovering from top surgery so my schedule is very open. While I don't have a car at the moment I do have a bike plus I live in a convenient place to catch the bus. I don't currently have any fall trips planned so I should be here in Richmond area for quite a while. I don't take pets home with me to care for them. I am more than happy to come to you or take your pets to park based on what you would prefer. I am happy to feed, play with, and walk your pet as well as administer any extra care they may need.

About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals.
