She made me feel relaxed, at ease and was extremely reliable/communicative. She obviously has had a lot of experience caring for animals/pets and it showed; there was not a moment that I felt uneasy. She stayed longer than she needed to and was very attentive my cats needs. I will definitely be booking future rover visits with her again! She’s the best!”

About: Pets are great blessings to our lives and therefore deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and care we can give them. I will treat your pet as if he or she is my own and ensure they are well-taken care of! I grew up owning a dog and have since added 2 more to my family. I shared the responsibilities of feeding them, playing with them, and caring for each dog with my family members. I would be grateful for the opportunity to get to know and care for your pet! I will be free to care for your pet during both weekdays and weekends. I will have more availability during the summer. Can pet-sit overnight on weekdays as well. I will send pictures of your pet for each walk or stay I do. I am also happy to meet with families to get to know the pet before care starts. About: *9/2026: Back on the app after a hiatus due to meeting capacity for clients, currently looking for regular local clients after some of my previous clients have moved out of state! I am a pediatric physical therapist looking to dogsit on weekends or walk dogs. Walking or running with your dog(s) will allow me to stay active, and I am sure your pup will thank you for it! I get off on Fridays at 11:30AM and am free until Sunday nights at 10:00PM. My experience is fairly eclectic. I have fostered dogs for Houlagan's Rest and BARKVa for the 4 years, and currently have 2 adopted dogs of my ow (both foster fails!): a sweet American Bulldog mix named Big Mama, and a Black and Tan Coonhound Mix named Dusty. Fostering has allowed me to work with breeds, ages, and learning abilities of all kinds. I have leash trained, potty trained, and been a medical foster for those who have just been spayed/neutered as well as other medical complications. I am very comfortable with dogs that have barrier/food/dog aggression, as well as anxiety. In addition to my fostering/owning my own pups, I raised both of my childhood dogs (cockapoos) from 8 weeks onward for my mother during my summer breaks. I have also babysat dogs for my friends and family throughout undergraduate school and grad school. I believe that your pup should feel comfortable, safe, and happy throughout their stay with me, so I request that we do a meet and greet before confirming to make sure that I can sufficiently meet you and your dog's needs 😊 I will also be able to stay in your home full-time as my husband will take care of my pups while I am away, so no need to worry about splitting time!!! I am available to dogsit from Fridays after 11:30 AM until Sundays at 10:00PM, and can dog walk on weekends! I typically am home near full-time with your pup, and do not like to leave more than 2-3 hour intervals max most often. When at your home, I am always certain to implement whatever rules you may have. I am experienced with crate training, and am also happy to take the pup on adventures (I often like to go to the farmers market and on long walks around the Richmond Trails.) I am also happy to lounge on the couch and snuggle if that's what they prefer!

About: I've had my dog 15+ years and fostered dogs for many years before that. My dog Snork and I take 3 walks a day and comes with me to work each day. I love my little guy! Since Snork is a senior dog and he can't walk as far as he used to, I'm looking for more opportunities to walk and enjoy dogs! I currently work a 9-5 job so I'm able to care for your pet after 5:30pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends. I would consider some mornings on a short term basis. I would prefer to care for your pet from your home; however, in some cases, I can care for a pet in my home. I have a fenced in backyard and live near a wooded walking path.
