Pet Sitting Oxford

About: I've been volunteering at the Richmond Animal League for over a year and have previous experience working at shelters and dog daycares. I've always loved caring for animals; I used to volunteer at the SPCA when I was younger and I have two dogs of my own that I enjoy taking on walks and playing fetch with in the backyard. I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week (mostly evenings). Other than that, my schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available throughout the week, as well as weekends. I'm more interested in petsitting, but I can also do daily walks and drop-ins with enough notice! For petsitting, I'll be able to stay and take care of your pets for as long as you need me to be there. I can stay all day and even overnight if needed, or just check in periodically throughout the day! I'll carefully follow instructions given on feeding, walks/exercise, morning and bedtime routines, medications, and just overall entertainment. I'm great with dogs (and cats!) of all kinds of energy, whether they want to be active all day long, or just snuggled up on the couch!

About: I love dogs as I’ve had many throughout my childhood and adulthood. My family has always been a big pet family and so I completely understand the love and attention pets need and deserve. After all, they are an important part of our lives! I am currently a senior in college, and while I wished I had a pet, I do not have one yet. Back home I have a dog and caring for her is a daily activity that I love to do. I know pets are caring, sensitive beings and need lots of attention and love! In my house, I help with feeding, walking, playing, and overall petting and loving on our dog. I love to walk my dog at home and play with her using her favorite toys. I can bring these skills to help care for your pet as well.

About: I’ve been an avid animal lover my entire life. My family has always had at least 2 pets at any given time and in the past 4 years we have fostered close to 80 pups! I’m currently working towards my CCTBS certification (certified canine training and behavior specialist). I’ve worked at dog daycares as well as the SPCA. During this time, I cared for dogs and cats from all walks of life. I befriended anxious pets who feared humans and gained acceptance from those who show aggression. I have experience with puppies/kittens, seniors, special needs, and more! I specialize in caring for the pets who are a bit more on the nervous side as I am very patient and attentive to detail. That being said, I love a good happy go lucky pet as well! I am also qualified to administer medications, even injectables. Whether it’s a little check in or a long walk, I’m here to help! I work 7am to anywhere between 11am and 3pm, leaving me enough flexibility to care for your pets scheduled needs! My days off vary each week with weekends being mandatory. On my days off, I’m able to provide more flexibility for extended visits and one on one time with your furry friends, just reach out and I’ll let you know what my off days are for the week! If you’re looking for recurring walks or sitting we can discuss that further so I can adjust my schedule accordingly! Your pets will be treated like one of my own, pampered and spoiled! I will follow any guidelines or routines you have in place. If your pet knows any tricks or manners to practice, I’m more than happy to implement those! In each and every visit, I like to take the time to give the animal and the home a once over to make sure everything looks good and safe before I leave.
