I like to think that among those to know me, I am the go-to animal sitter. I provide in-home boarding and doggy daycare as well travel to take care of friends’ and clients' furry family members. I frequently donate to local animal shelters and have hosted 'Dog Day Out' programs with local shelters. I have organized two TNR programs for feral cats. I have a lovely 11 year old lab mix and a 5 year old tabby cat. I live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of greenery and wooded areas. The following information applies to those interested in boarding their pooch at my home. My back yard is not fully enclosed fencing: however, there is a fully enclosed, smaller side yard leading out from my den for early morning / late night / quick visits. Visitors receive no less than 2 walks a day as well as visits outside for sniff, potty, and play every 2-3 hours. If you are comfortable with your pup on a longer lead, they often spend more outside time with my dog while doing yard work in my unfenced areas as well as hanging out on my back patio. I spend a lot of time outdoors. Dogs are never, ever left unmonitored outside. Boarding visitors must be friendly with other dogs and acceptable of cats (I have one indoor / outdoor tabby cat who is very tolerant of dogs - he is used to many visitors! - but does not typically want to be up close). I also have a 95 lb big boy lab / hound mix named Otter who is 11 years old. He likes to sniff other pooches, make friends, and take walks with - then keep to himself otherwise and nap on his favorite bed.
