“Oli was very communicative, left our house cleaner than we left it, and our pup was so well-taken care of for the two weeks we were gone!! We could very much tell when we got home, and by the funny tidbits Oli sent us that showed how much she was in tune with Maddie! We would definitely use Oli again! And so appreciate how happy Maddie was and how clean everything was upon our arrival! When we came home in between her departing and us getting back, she even had calm music playing for Maddie! Oli is a gem! ❤️”

“Christine was so fantastic taking care of our babies! She was very responsive and cared so deeply about them, some of which are special needs or elderly and require medications, and she took great care to make sure each of their needs were met. She treated them like they were her own. She was respectful of our home and we would highly recommend her!”

“Emily is terrific. She did such a great job watching our pup. Our dog experiences pretty bad separation anxiety and typically doesn’t eat all his meals when we are away - but with Emily he did! She was absolutely wonderful and we will most definitely be reaching out to her again!! She sent us pictures daily, kept the house tidy and was simply great to have. Thanks again Emily for the great experience!”

“Victor was a great companion to Onion - they took to each other right away. Victor was respectful of my place and left it in great condition. Victor is now on my list of pet sitters for the future.”

“Alex was amazing - very professional! He was very attentive to our wishes and instructions, excellent communicator, punctual and all the things you would expect from hiring a pro. The house was left clean and he genuinely seems to care for our pets and enjoy their company. Got photos every day and followed our complicated medication schedule. The dogs seemed happy and healthy when we returned! We HIGHLY recommend!”

About: I've grown up with lots of dogs in my house, and I've been sitting for over 6 years. From French Basset Hounds to Great Danes, I love taking care of dogs!! *I WILL BE GONE FROM MAY 12TH-JULY 25TH* I am a 21-year-old college student at VCU. As of right now, I have classes and club swim taking up my schedule, but I am available to walk and let out dogs during the week/weekend. I follow whatever instructions the owners give me. I always make sure the dogs I am looking after feel safe. Dogs have great emotional awareness, and my goal is to establish a sense of trust with the animal.
About: I’ve been around lots of cats and dogs of all ages and a variety of breeds and personalities. I’m happy to accommodate whatever your baby needs while you’re away. I drive and am happy to work something out with you whether your needs are for weekdays, weekends, or both. I’m big on giving updates and sending pictures. I’ll leave your home exactly as I found out and with your furry friend(s) cared for and happy. Communicate as much about your friend(s) and their needs as you wish and I’ll be happy to help.

Vcu pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kate was wonderful with our dog who needs medications at specific times, and she communicated with us regularly. She sent pictures and updates, and she even cleaned the sheets and towels she used when staying at our house, which she also took very good care of while we were away. We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to others!

My shy senior cat warmed up to Celeste immediately during our meet and greet. Celeste got back to my booking request quickly and she sent thoughtful updates during her visits. It put my mind at ease knowing that my cat was well cared for and getting plenty of cuddles while I was away. I’ll definitely book with Celeste again!

Douglas was such a great pick to hang with our pups and care for our home while we were gone. Our pups like to keep things interesting and Douglas’s patience with them is not only appreciated, but is admired, especially when it came to caring for our senior dog. We would gladly welcome Douglas back to our home, and I know the pups would love that too.

Veronica was absolutely fantastic with our two pups, Lola and June. She is so wonderful, responsive, caring, and very responsible. Both of our girls are rescues and one is shy - Veronica won her over and was so phenomenal with her, we got several photos and video updates of them cozied up with her, feeling safe and loved. Thank you for everything, Veronica. Our home was spotless and our girls enjoyed their time with you.

Christine was so fantastic taking care of our babies! She was very responsive and cared so deeply about them, some of which are special needs or elderly and require medications, and she took great care to make sure each of their needs were met. She treated them like they were her own. She was respectful of our home and we would highly recommend her!

Hallie did any amazing job staying with our two cats and our dog who is experiencing more separation anxiety lately. All of the animals were well taken care of and so calm and happy when we returned home. She also kept our house in great shape and it looked perfect when we got home.
