About: I have experience caring for both puppies (even during potty training) and senior pets with special medication and mobility needs. I have pet sat for numerous families with senior pets and have been successful in meeting all needs and providing the best care possible. I would love to do the same for your pet! I am in my 4th year of medical school, so my schedule is more flexible than an average full time job. I often have odd shifts or hours, so I can tend to pets at times where others may not be able to! I am willing to fit caring for your pet into my schedule however I can. I currently have 1 cat who lives in my apartment. I am so excited for the day we move to a home where we can build him a cat patio (or catio as we lovingly refer to it as), but for now he loves sitting in the window and seeing all of the sights outside! I would be willing to travel wherever needed to pet sit or do pet check-ins/potty breaks/walks. I would care for your animal just like it was my own. My goal is to meet all of your pet's needs, from physical to emotional and psychological. About: 25 years of experience caring for my own dogs. Friends and neighbors also rely on me to pet sit (includes exercise, play, meals, and meds) I work from home in Church Hill and am able to provide care in the morning, mid day, and evening. I do my best to ensure that they stick to their usual routine. All dogs also get a leashed walk - length and pace depends on their physical condition (older dogs may be more interested in sniffing and strolling while younger pups need to burn more energy). I also provide some playtime inside or outside in a fenced area (if available). Meals and medication are distributed as instructed.

In My Home & Around the Yard: Since I have a moderately sized, fenced-in yard and my own Bernese Mountain Dog, safety at home is mostly about supervising the fun. I never just let the dogs out back and walk away; I’m always out there watching them play to make sure everyone is sharing toys and getting along safely. Before a new pup ever visits, we’ll do a casual Meet & Greet to make sure our dogs vibe well together. Indoors, I keep my home calm and secure, making sure doors are always locked and any human food or hazards are kept way out of reach. In Your Home & On Walks: If I’m coming to your place, I treat it exactly like I’d want someone to treat mine. I stick strictly to the routine you give me for feeding and care. When we head out for neighborhood walks, I always double-check harnesses and collars before opening the front door to make sure nothing can slip loose. I keep a short, secure grip on the leash and stay entirely focused on the dog—keeping an eye out for hot pavement, heavy traffic, or stray dogs so our walks stay completely stress-free.

About: I've had my dog 15+ years and fostered dogs for many years before that. My dog Snork and I take 3 walks a day and comes with me to work each day. I love my little guy! Since Snork is a senior dog and he can't walk as far as he used to, I'm looking for more opportunities to walk and enjoy dogs! I currently work a 9-5 job so I'm able to care for your pet after 5:30pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends. I would consider some mornings on a short term basis. I would prefer to care for your pet from your home; however, in some cases, I can care for a pet in my home. I have a fenced in backyard and live near a wooded walking path.
