About: I've taken care of bunnies, cats, and dogs since I was little. I love animals and have always had a talent for connecting with them. I have cared for all ages and sizes of pets including administering medication and accommodating injuries. I have lots of time to spend with my furry animals given my flexible work schedule. About: Hi, I'm Emily! I've been drawn to animals of all kinds since I was a kid! I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs, and have had a dog of my own since 2021. I'm well-versed in animal care; in addition to the basics (walks, feeding, play), I'm familiar with many common needs, like medication administration, training/behavioral reinforcement, and gland expression. I have a flexible schedule and typically respond to requests within a few hours. I'm able to spend a lot of my time at home; usually when I'm out of the apartment, it's for no more than about four hours or so at a time. My standard schedule is to provide three walks a day (morning, midday, evening) plus a quick potty break before bedtime, but I can adjust that up or down depending on your dog's needs. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of pets, cuddles, and playtime. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed, but if that's a behavior you're trying to limit, I can take that into account while your pet is staying here. At all times, and especially when outside, the safety of your pet is paramount to me. During walks, I actively monitor for dangerous situations/behaviors, like encounters with unfamiliar dogs or trying to eat things they shouldn't. About: I am new to Richmond and looking to explore with my pup, Rubens. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. Would love for my dog to have a play mate during the day. Using Rover to keep a routine and explore Richmond while I look for a full time position. I am currently new to Richmond and in between jobs. I walk my dog anywhere from 5-12x a day from 15-75 minutes (depending on weather, need to get out of the house, etc.). My job right now is to enjoy the outdoors with my dog and yours! Rubens and I welcome all other dogs as family! I live in a first floor apt with a small fenced backyard (only for small dogs). There is a hallway that runs from the front door to the back yard area, which is where Rubens likes to do zoomies or be a watch guard dog for the doors. As far as behaviors, Rubens is allowed on my furniture and has a small basket of toys that he shares. Treats are only during training and water is down at all times. We are pretty flexible, but can also set rules per your request to stay on your schedule/routine.

We were in town just for the week and needed a sitter during the days for our hound Daisy. Right away Daisy was at home in Nadia and Quincy's dog-centered property. She was well cared for with individualized attention. I never worried about her and she was excited to return each day. The location was in close proximity to VCU, which was perfect for us.
