“Ayme took Hugo for a doggie day care break today! We asked her at short notice, and she obliged. Hugo loves playing with Ayme’s fur-babies, and judging by the photos and video, he had a blast 😊 Thank you so much for the love and attention you and your kind husband give to our dog, I’m so glad we found you! 💕”

“Cindy is a wonder! My scaredy-dog loves her, and went to her willingly even though it had been a long time since his last visit. She asked if I’d like her to give him a bath, and that was a very welcome addition. Thank you Cindy!”

“Joyce is great! She takes care of my dog Banana on a daily basis while I’m at work & is constantly working with my crazy sales schedule. Joyce takes great care of Banana, making sure she’s fed twice a day, has pleeenty of potty breaks & all the love & affection she could ask for! She even sends me daily pictures of my old pup throughout the day, which always cheers me up! 10/10, would recommend 😊”

“William was great with Church and very attentive throughout the day. He made sure Church was comfortable, safe, and well cared for, and I appreciated the communication and updates. It gave me peace of mind knowing Church was in good hands. I would definitely book again and recommend him to others looking for reliable doggy day care.”

“Great with my little one she is old and spoiled Chihuahua and she just keeps getting spoiled. Loves the yard to run in and play with the bigger dogs sometimes. But the best part is she is worn out by the time we get home. And they are so flexible with my crazy schedule.”

“Deven and Tyreek took amazing care of Birdie! I could tell Birdie had a truly amazing time being boarded and always looked forward to returning to such a loving home! Will definitely book their services again if in the area.”

About: Hello! Our names are Darling and Kolby. We have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and a wide variety of breeds. We have plenty of space to host your dog, including a fully fenced yard where they can safely play and explore. We currently have two cats and a Golden Aussie of our own, and we grew up surrounded by animals such as Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Chihuahuas, Poodles, and more. Because of this, we are very comfortable managing a multi-pet household. If your pet has any allergies or special dietary needs, we are happy to accommodate them. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your pet while you’re away, we’d be happy to help! I work remotely so I am able to spend more time with my dog during the day, and he gets to play in the yard for the majority of the day. We provide lots of exercise with yard play, walks and trips to the dog park. As well as mentally stimulating activities that our dog requires.
About: I am a retired military vet i served in the Army for twenty one years. I have cared for dogs my entire life. No matter what size the dog is I can handle them. They call me the dog whisperer. Most times people ask me what did I do to make the dog relax. I have a really soft caring voice, that is very tusting I will care for cats but I don't have as much experience with cats as I do with dogs. I will also care for other animals if needed I also have knowledge to house train puppies. I am fully aware of how to treat a older dogs with medical issues. Bottom line leaving your dog with me is like leaving them with family I work part time. I don't work weekends or holidays. I will have more than enough time with your fur baby. I'm home most days. All day I have a fenced in yard. I also have a doggie door so they will have full access inside and out. I find most dogs really enjoy that
“Despite the late request, Ross answered very quickly and was able to arrange a brief meeting the same night for Murdoch and his dog to meet. The day after, we left Murdoch with Ross and Ava and everything went monthly with a few pictures of Murdoch's day. I recommend Ross and Ava !”

“Michelle took good care of my pup. Her dog Milo is a sweetie. She has a nice yard for them to play in and my dog also enjoyed relaxing by her side on the couch.”

About: With 8 years of dog training experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Whether it’s teaching energetic puppies good manners or providing gentle, attentive care for seniors, I adapt to each dog’s unique needs and make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. Since I work from home, pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day while balancing my job, making sure their needs are always met. In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family with plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles. In a client’s home, I follow their routines closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or special instructions—so pets feel secure and cared for just like they would with their owner
“Abby, had great communication with me while our pup was there. She sent me pics which helped put our minds at ease. What sold me on her was that within 5 minutes of me reaching out with our dogs info and request for care she responded back with her address ready to take him immediately. If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely be using her services!”

About: - I welcome your pet the way I would want my precious fur-children to be treated. Love, care, gentleness, kindness, attention to their needs, aware that they might be nervous and scared. I sleep with them if they want that. I spend hours on the couch cuddling with them and watching TV. Immaculate attention to their feeding, medication, and walking schedule. - I only host one family’s pets at a time. - I have two separate floors separated by a closing door and dog gates. My pets and your pet stay separated and will remain that way. A stay away from home is not necessarily the time to for your dog to be exposed to the stress of new animals. - My yard is fenced in well enough for small to medium dogs. - I host dogs up to 25 pounds. Feel free to contact me if your dog weighs more than that. Calm dogs and senior dogs that weigh more than 25 pounds will probably do well in my home. - I focus on daycare and boarding in my home. - Guest dogs stay in my first floor tv room/playroom which has immediate access to the outside through the back door with no steps – great for senior dogs. They have the entire den to themselves, as well as a smaller cozy space (the downstairs office). - I have a dedicated cat bedroom: your cat will enjoy two cat trees and a view of beautiful trees, birds, and sunshine. DETAILS: I am a Richmond Public Schools teacher and a musician. A lifelong dog owner, I am the proud mama to rescue pups Bentley and Bo (my angel dog in heaven). I also have two charming, funny, and delightful cats — Gwen and Cricket. I live in a two-story, four-bedroom home with a fenced-in backyard near Westover Hills, Redd Elementary School, Lucille Brown, and Chippenham Hospital. We are close to a couple of dog parks, including Barker Field, and within a few miles of the VMFA, with plenty of green spaces to walk and relax in the fresh air. If you like, I’m happy to take your dog to Barker Field, where I will monitor your pup closely for safety. I have a large fenced backyard for safe, frequent potty breaks. Your pup will truly be cared for like my very own. Because I am a teacher, my summers are wide open for long walks, backyard playtime, cuddles on the couch, and plenty of one-on-one attention for your pets throughout the day. During the summer, I spend most of my days at home catching up on spring cleaning, gardening, yardwork, reading, and chatting on the phone. Your pet will have human companionship for most of the day, except for occasional grocery shopping and errands. I love ALL dogs and will treat your sweet one like my own. Dogs are precious to me. Boarding dogs will have non-stop loving, cuddling, and affection. If your dog prefers to sleep alone, they can choose from two guest bedrooms with lots of comfy hiding places as well as multiple dog beds scattered throughout my home. My 1/4 acre yard is fenced in well enough for small and medium dogs. Your dog will enjoy hanging out with me while I garden or read on a blanket in the backyard, sniffing all the new smells.

“We are very appreciative of Amanda and her husband for taking great care of our boys! Amanda is very communicative, caring and flexible which has been critical for our dog care needs. Can’t wait for our pups’ next stay!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10. Family, friends, and friends-of-friends have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and house sit their pets. I currently live in a multi-pet household with multiple dogs and cats. I am now a senior at Michigan State University, pursuing a degree in animal science. I have taken companion animal science courses and worked hands-on with a wide range of animals. I have learned how to provide CPR and first-aid for pets as well. During school I have also worked for a doggy daycare, consisting of taking care of up to 80 dogs at a time in a cage-free environment! This consisted of assisting dogs of all ages and sizes in specific food schedules/requests, administering medications, and keeping a safe and fun environment for all. During my time here I learned how to read the body language of a wide-range of dogs. I will cater to just about any needs you request when it comes to caring for your pet in your home. If your pet needs walked, fed, or let outside at specific times, I will be there to provide it all. Just ask, and I’ll let you know whether I will be a good fit for caring for your pet(s). I'm currently in school at Michigan State University pursuing a degree in Animal Science, I commute to campus so when I don't have classes I am full-time in Greenville area. Classes may take up a couple hours on certain weekdays, but outside of that time your pets will be my priority. I am also enlisted in the Army National Guard, so I am unavailable one weekend a month. During that time I may be available for evening dog walks or an evening drop-in visit, otherwise I will not take any pets if I know that I can't provide the time and care they need. During the Meet and Greet I will take in any information needed to care for your pets and cater to any needs you wish. I want to provide a comfortable experience for your pets while also adhering to their routines and rules. I want to provide a fun and safe experience for your pets while you are away! This requires me to collect as much information as I can on your pets including triggers, routines, medications, small house rules and limitations, emergency information, treats/food information, and of course enjoyable activities that your pets love. During any service I will also provide updates and pictures as much as possible without interrupting your time away too much. I work a fulltime job and have a dog and cat of my own. If my availability doesn’t fit the needs of your pet, I will let you know immediately to ensure both my pets and your pets get all of the care they need! I do not provide care in my own home, although I’ll happily provide care in your home. The care received will be discussed during the meet and greet, if your pet requires any specialty care I will gladly work with it and provide them with an enjoyable environment. I like to make sure that I am sticking to their routines to provide as much comfort as possible while they are missing you.

I’m home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I can provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and consistent care throughout the day. I have a dog and a cat in my home, so I’m comfortable caring for both. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment, while following each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Piney Knolls
Brenda did such an amazing job with little Rocky. This was our first time having someone dog sit in their house and we felt very confident he was in good hands. She sent so many update and pic/videos so we knew he was doing well. I highly recommend Brenda as she cares so much for the dogs in her care. So nice having that peace of mind.
