11. Alexis G.
“Entrusting Alexis with your pets I highly recommend. She is loving, attentive and professional. From what I have witnessed with her own pets she goes the extra mile from making sure they are properly groomed and well taken care of. She ensures they go for walks, go potty and eat on a daily. If you want an individual who goes above and beyond, Alexis is the woman for the job!”

12. John K.

“Maggie is a wonderful sitter. She is conscientious and low-key, which was just perfect for our dogs. They were relaxed with Maggie and her family, and we could relax, knowing that our beloved girls were in good hands. We will happily leave our dogs with Maggie when we visit Richmond next. Our dogs, Aoife and Schnuggi, are Bernese Mt. Dogs.”

14. Rob C.
About: I am a firm believer that dogs are our best friends. Dogs deserve all the love and devotion they show us. I would love to drop by for a quick visit or a walk, or if you need care for longer my wife and our dog Belle would love to host your furry friend. Our backyard, quiet neighborhood, and proximity to the James River Park System is perfect for play time and longer walks. If you’re looking for a reliable friendly caretaker and or a fun place to stay for your pet, look no further. This is my full time commitment at the moment so pet care will be my top priority. My dog Belle gets all of the attention and won’t mind sharing. I have a fenced in yard at home that I share with my wife and our dog Belle. When it’s not too hot Belle gets a long walk every day, and can go in and out to the yard as she pleases. I will ensure I give the same level of care to your dog as I would my own both in and out of my home.

15. Ashley R.

“Ashley took great care of my Facui. She get very nervous in new environments, but Ashley took her in like she was one of her own. Provided numerous photos of playtime. Very flexible and accommodating.”

16. Aj M.

About: For most of my life, I have owned, loved, boarded, fostered, and/or cared for a broad range of animals, including dogs (small and large), cats (domesticated and feral), hamsters, rabbits, chickens, fish, one gerbil, one parrot, and a handful of reptiles. (I've also spent some time on farms learning husbandry.) From this comes experience with the full cycle of life with companion animals - birth, adolescence, training, advancements, setbacks, accidents, illness, aging, and loss. I'm no stranger to providing extra potty breaks for puppies (our interests are mutually aligned) or with giving daily medications. For the first time in many years, my home is without a pet of my own - let me dote on yours when you can't. I'm a retired(ish) attorney and veteran now working from home with plenty of time and attention to give to your fur babies. Regular walks and exercise are an important part of our routine. My property is ~ 2 acres, large portions of which are fenced but couldn't be properly described as secured. Your dog's temperament will determine whether it can roam / play / fetch unleashed, but in no event will dogs be outside unattended. Inside, I try to make my home as welcoming and comforting for your pets as I would hope would be done for mine - animals are allowed on the furniture and are invited to sleep where they please, unless you instruct otherwise.

18. Colby C.

“You can’t beat Colby for kind, attentive care for your dog. He’s got lots of experience and goes the distance for your pet and you.”

19. Nicholas P.
“Nicholas is super great with animals of all kind. One of the most responsible and respectful people I know. He has an excellent work ethic and is very caring. I would absolutely trust Nick to watch my own pets, and I would be confident they’d get the best care! He’s also incredibly active and would be a perfect dog walker!”

20. Siah G.
“I have a small Chihuahua . When she was born I couldn't get her too eat so siah sat and helped me feed my new puppy and showed me what to do for hours and he always came and checked on her and made sure she was in tip top shape .”
