My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable and confident while your pet is in my care. I provide dependable, attentive care tailored to your pet’s personality and routine — whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddle time, slow introductions, medication support, or simply keeping things calm and predictable. I send regular photo updates and communicate clearly so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet like they’re my own and every client relationship like it matters long term, not just for one booking. I've had dogs all my life and am currently a dog mom to my sweet mixed breed. She's been with us for almost 2 years and is a joy to our household. We do not have any other animals, but I did grow up in a veritable zoo (Rabbits, birds, dogs, cats, goats, fish and chickens)! I'm happy to learn and adapt to your needs. I'm a stay at home mom and so my availability is quite flexible. I only ask that your furry baby is friendly with other kids and dogs. Your furry baby will be treated as one of my own. Each dog will join in on family playtime, walks and of course lots of scritch scratches! I'm currently a stay at home mom with both kids in school. I'll have plenty of time to care for your furry baby. I have a dog of my own, so if we are boarding or doing doggy day care, your pup will have a doggy playmate! Every dog is different, so I’d love to hear about your dog’s quirks, routines, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I do my best to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I have a fully fenced in back yard and a dog to keep your pup company. I also have elementary aged kids in my home who are very familiar in how to handle dogs. Our dog is fully vaccinated. Our yard is free of pesticides and chemicals.

About: Hello! Our names are Darling and Kolby. We have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and a wide variety of breeds. We have plenty of space to host your dog, including a fully fenced yard where they can safely play and explore. We currently have two cats and a Golden Aussie of our own, and we grew up surrounded by animals such as Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Chihuahuas, Poodles, and more. Because of this, we are very comfortable managing a multi-pet household. If your pet has any allergies or special dietary needs, we are happy to accommodate them. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your pet while you’re away, we’d be happy to help! I work remotely so I am able to spend more time with my dog during the day, and he gets to play in the yard for the majority of the day. We provide lots of exercise with yard play, walks and trips to the dog park. As well as mentally stimulating activities that our dog requires.

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for the past four years, in addition to caring for my own pets throughout my life. My previous dog, a Yorkie, gave me experience caring for a senior pet, including administering eye drops, following medication schedules, and managing a special diet. My current dog, Bella, is a 10-month-old AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy graduate who has taught me plenty about keeping up with energetic young dogs! I also share my home with two friendly, affectionate senior cats, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages and temperaments. I work Sunday through Wednesday, so my Thursdays through Saturdays are completely dedicated to your pup! My black Labrador, Bella, and I typically walk 1–2 miles three times a day. On hotter days, we switch to indoor enrichment and training games instead of long walks. Whether your dog loves an adventure or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to tailor their stay to their individual needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and Bella, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet beforehand. Whether I’m boarding, dropping in for a visit, or taking your pup on a walk, I’ll follow their normal routine and tailor my care to their energy level and needs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

Feel free to contact me if your dog weighs more than that. - I have a dedicated cat bedroom: your cat will enjoy two cat trees and a view of beautiful trees, birds, and sunshine. DETAILS: I am a Richmond Public Schools teacher and a musician. A lifelong dog owner, I am the proud mama to rescue pups Bentley and Bo (who is my angel dog in heaven). I also have two charming, funny, and delightful cats — Gwen and Cricket. Because I’m on summer vacation, I have loads of availability to care for your pets, with a focus on daycare and boarding in my home. I live in a two-story, four-bedroom home with a fenced-in backyard near Westover Hills, Redd Elementary School, Lucille Brown, and Chippenham Hospital. We are close to a couple of dog parks, including Barker Field, and within a few miles of the VMFA, with plenty of green spaces to walk and relax in the fresh air. If you like, I’m happy to take your dog to Barker Field, where I will monitor your pup closely for safety. I have a large fenced backyard for safe, frequent potty breaks. Your pup will truly be cared for like my very own. Because I am a teacher, my summers are wide open for long walks, backyard playtime, cuddles on the couch, and plenty of one-on-one attention for your pets throughout the day. During the summer, I spend most of my days at home catching up on spring cleaning, gardening, yardwork, reading, and chatting on the phone. Your pet will have human companionship for most of the day, except for occasional grocery shopping and errands. I love ALL dogs and will treat your sweet one like my own. Dogs are precious to me. Boarding dogs will have non-stop loving, cuddling, and affection. If your dog prefers to sleep alone, they can choose from two guest bedrooms with lots of comfy hiding places as well as multiple dog beds scattered throughout my home. My 1/4 acre yard is fenced in well enough for small and medium dogs. Your dog will enjoy hanging out with me while I garden or read on a blanket in the backyard, sniffing all the new smells.
