About: I was raised around all kinds of pets, from cats and dogs to snakes and spiders. I take a lot of pride in taking great care of animals and providing them with a safe and loving environment. I’m currently a student on break, so I have a lot of time on my hands for the time being. I can work with your schedule! I am very careful with any animal within my responsibility. I’m well-practiced in keeping sneaky pets from escaping out the door, keeping leashed dogs away from other dogs, and medicating animals. I will strictly follow any instructions I am given to make sure your pet is safe, healthy, and comfortable!

We leave Alex detailed instructions on how to provide Quico the best care, including food, medicine, and physical/mental fulfillment, since he is a high-energy dog, which they always follow. Quico also absolutely loves Alex, so I know Quico is in good hands when we go out of town -- emotionally and physically. Alex also is very responsive to my texts checking in on my beloved puppy dog, in addition to sending occasional adorable pictures and updates. Excellent care for my dog!”

About: My whole life I have owned, loved, boarded, and cared for a broad range of animals: dogs (small and large), cats (domesticated and feral), hamsters, rabbits, chickens, fish, one gerbil, one parrot, and more. With that comes the experience of the full cycle of life with companion animals - birth, adolescence, training, setbacks, accidents, illness, aging, and loss. I'm no stranger to providing extra potty breaks for puppies (our interests are mutually aligned) or with giving daily medications. For the first time in many years, my home is without a pet of my own - let me dote on yours when you can't. I'm a semi-retired / recovering attorney now (barely) working from home with plenty of time and attention to give to your fur babies. Regular walks and exercise are an important part of our routine. My property is ~ 2 acres - large portions of which are fenced but wouldn't be described as secured. Your dog's temperament will determine whether it can roam unleashed, but in no event will dogs be outside unattended. Inside, I try to make my home as welcoming and comforting for your pets as I would hope would be done for mine - animals are allowed on the furniture and are invited to sleep where they please, unless you instruct otherwise.
