About: I have taken care of dogs from every breed and size for the past 5 years. I am an experienced, professional dog walker and sitter. I have plenty of experience with dogs with different personalities. I currently work part-time on Monday through Wednesday evenings, so I am available on Monday - Wednesday evenings as well as Thursdays - Sundays all day. I care for the pets in my/my client's home with diligence, respect, and compassion. I speak with the owner in advance to talk to them about their needs and expectations, make sure my house is clean and prepared for the dog's visit, then I diligently look after the dog and send updates to the owner.

“I forgot to book my walks for the week and I work 12 hour shifts, so it is imperative that my tiny guy ( who refuses to go inside on puppy pads) be taken out. Bridgette saved the day, even with such short notice. My dog also loves her. I definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Tatum walked our dog for three consecutive mornings and did a wonderful job! Happy dog and happy owner! I highly recommend Tatum.”

About: I've lived with dogs my entire life, and therefore have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and every age in-between. My friends - and especially my partner - call me "the animal whisperer" because of my non-anxious presence that animals seem to notice and be drawn to. In fact, my former housemates tell me that I taught their grumpy, elderly dachshund how to love people! I enjoy playing with dogs, but am also perfectly content to lounge and cuddle with our lazier canine companions. I live in an intentional community with several other housemates, and am therefore unable to bring pets home with me. However, I am flexible when it comes to checking on your pet(s) and spending quality time with them. Considering I will be caring for your pet in your home, I welcome any preferences and suggestions you may have! I'm comfortable being with dogs on furniture, but can also crate them if that's what they're used to. Additionally, I can adapt to feeding and walking schedules.

“Great communication and timely arrival!”

About: Hi, my name's Joy and I recently moved to Richmond and look forward to getting to know the area through dogsitting! I have experience administering medications (especially to dogs that have a hard time with this), and crate and basic training, I work part-time from home with a flexible schedule, so I am very available for bookings during the week and weekends. I walk 5 miles a day on my own, but it's better with a dog, so I look forward to exercising your pup as much as they need! Pets are welcome on furniture and are permitted in all areas of my pet-proofed home. I am close to several parks with shaded walking paths and can walk pups around my neighborhood.

“Hannah walked my boy every day for 9 days when I was out of town. They walked for an hour every day and it was great! He really enjoys his long walks and Hannah made sure he had a great time. She is reliable and sent me great notes and pics every day.”

About: YOᑌ ᕼᗩᗪ ᗰE ᗩT ᗷᗩᖇK 𐂯 I've always had a passion for working with animals, and that love has only grown over the years as I've helped family and friends with their furry friends. I was lucky enough to spend three and a half wonderful years at 4 Dogs Pet Supplies, a charming local shop in Charlotte, NC. It was such a joy to meet so many wonderful dog breeds and discover the best products and care practices for our beloved pets. I also got to team up with another small business, where I had the pleasure of caring for both dogs and cats and plants—everything from playful puppies to treasured older pets. Each day was filled with rewarding experiences in animal care! On top of that, I've volunteered at animal shelters and even participated in an amazing equine therapeutic riding program. These experiences have really deepened my commitment to animal well-being and the importance of supporting our community. It's been a truly fulfilling journey! And am very thankful for those who have trusted me with the animals. ✮ I am currently out of school for the summer and have a part-time job, which gives me plenty of availability to help care for your animals. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am available anytime after 1 PM for walks, drop-ins, or anything else you need. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, I can assist at any time. Let me know how I can help! 𐂯 I always strive to treat animals, plants, and homes with the same love and care I give to my own! My goal is to provide the best care possible for my clients, so I ask plenty of questions to understand their preferences. This helps me create a safe and secure environment while building trust with both the owner and their furry friends.

About: I have always had pets growing up from dogs of different sizes to bunnies and bird. Recently I have been taking care of my dog Dutch. He suffered from seizures all his life, so I have experience in bigger dogs and one with health issues. I have full availability. It may change due possibly picking up a part time job as I am preparing for a year long college course. Putting my dog through behavioral courses has helped me with heel training. So walking dogs of any size won't be an issue for me. Especially with it being so hot recently making sure the asphalt isn't too hot and not keeping dogs out for too long.

“Amazing!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. We've always had dogs at home. I was always the one responsible for walking them. One story I have is about my brown dog who was very sick—no one else had the courage to give him injections, but I did. I also made sure he ate and drank water. Everyone had lost hope, but I kept trying, and he survived. One day, he woke up happy and playful again! I also taught all of our family dogs how to sit and walk on a leash, and I was responsible for giving them baths too. I simply love them and would do anything for them. I also have experience as a dog sitter—I’ve even stayed overnight in their home and was responsible for administering their medications as well. I am at home most of the weekends and my husband too. I have a gap in the middle of the day 8-12 when I come back home and check the dogs and make sure they go out, I also come back from around 4:30. I have too dogs, Fin and Grace, from rescue, we got them when they were 5 months! They are brother and sister, if your dog likes play and run around this is great! And we are moving from an apartment to a house next weekend, the house is not fenced yet, but we are gonna make sure to do it as soon as possible!

Joy Z.

“Joy has been watching my rescue dog, Phantom, for the past 4 years and she’s amazing. Whether she’s staying at my place or at hers, I always feel completely at ease knowing Phantom is in great hands. Joy is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and just genuinely loves dogs. Phantom has some separation anxiety, and some unique quirks that come with being a rescue. She needs a LOT of exercise, and I know she’ll get what she needs when she’s with Joy. I have recommended her to many friends, and they have always been extremely pleased with her care as well. I honestly can’t recommend her enough!”
