One of my favorite experiences was caring for a small farm (dogs, cats, horses, and chickens!) in Kentucky. I love taking dogs on walks around town & to explore the river! I don't work during the day, so I can accommodate feedings, med delivery, walks, and playtime all day long! I try to structure my day around the client's schedule, so that the animals don't experience a disruption in their normal routine. I love doing overnight sits for pets in the environment they are most comfortable in — their own home. I find it easy to adapt to a pet’s schedule and routine and I love exploring new places around town via walks!

About: Hi! I’m Cheyenne, a lifelong animal lover with hands-on professional experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I previously worked at a kennel-free dog boarding facility, where I helped care for multiple dogs at once in a safe, supervised environment. I’ve also worked as a full-time dog walker and pet sitter, providing daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, medication administration, and lots of attention and playtime. When I do go into the office, my office is dog friendly so I can bring a furry friend along if they enjoy the socialization! I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any specific routines your pet is used to. During visits, I make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just companionship. I also make sure basics like fresh water, clean feeding areas, and litter boxes are taken care of. For dog walks, I focus on safe handling, appropriate exercise for your dog’s energy level, and making sure they return home happy and settled. I always send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while keeping you informed and at ease.

About: I’m a pet mom to a dog and several cats. I love caring for animals and treat them as my own. I’m still new to Rover, but have had years caring for my own. I'm currently in college and i do doordash as my main source of income at the moment. i am available around 4pm-10pm monday-thursday. i’m available all day friday-sunday. for any house sitting: i need to be at college 9am-2pm so i will be gone from the time I start the commute to until i get back (monday-thursday) I will keep your pets company and make sure they have what they need. They’ll be taken well care of and get lots of love.

About: Hey there! My name is Veronica M., I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist in Richmond. I have a Certification in Dog Handling as well as Canine and Feline Massage Therapy & Reiki. Having a dog with separation anxiety has given me firsthand understanding of dog behavior and special needs pups. I’ve had an affinity for animals since my childhood, growing up with and taking care of our 2 black labs and a rescue jack russell. I continued my interest in animals through volunteer work with the SPCA & working as a kennel technician at a local doggy day care and boarding facility. There I fed, watered, and played with all different breeds of dogs as well as administered medicine as needed. Throughout, I continued dog and house sitting for family, friends, and referred clients. Later, after receiving a License in Massage Therapy, I decided to continue on the path of animal care and earned a certificate in Animal Massage, primarily canine and feline. Here I also earned a certificate in dog handling. I learned about dog behaviors and pathologies in depth. Now, I care for my 2 black lab mixes and my black cat, my babies!! <3. About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

I currently work part-time from 5am-9am so I have plenty of time during the rest of the day to take care of your pets whenever!
