About: I grew up around dogs (German Shepherds and a Pomeranian), so no dog is too big or too small for me! I’ve been a dog sitter since college and have been trusted by family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to love on their furry friends while they’re away! Hi, my name is Ashleigh! I’m a full time elementary school teacher that is on summer break right now so I have full and open availability! Day, night, mid-day, I can be there for you. I live in an apartment, so while I don’t have a fenced in yard, I live walking distance to multiple parks as well as the Virginia Capitol walking/bike trail along the James River. My building has stairs and elevators, as well as a large, open, grass field for potty breaks!

“On time! So friendly and welcoming to Louie. Strong walker and updated me at every turn.”

About: I love absolutely love dogs! I work from home as a Generative AI associate so my schedule is very flexible and ideal for taking care of your dog when you're busy or away. I'm available mornings, afternoons, or evenings, basically whenever you need. And my apartment is located in Shockhoe Bottom near two parks, ideal for walks. I grew up with Lhasa Apso pups (Cassie and Teddy) and have been dog-sitting and dog-walking for about 5 years. I've taken care of a variety of breeds, ranging from a Chinese crested to a boxer-pitbull mix. I'm a very compassionate, gentle, and patient person. I love spending time with dogs and look forward to meeting yours! :) I work from home, so pet care fits into my schedule super easily. I can take dogs out for potty breaks and walks as needed. I live in an apartment, so my living situation better aligns with smaller dog breeds. But park proximity still allows for walks and outside time.

“I cannot recommend Sierra highly enough! My dog, Mickey, ran down the hall to meet her on her second visit. He’s never done that. She obviously had Mickey’s seal of approval immediately. Sierra is conscientious, very communicative, and extremely kind. She has my complete trust and respect, because she treats Mickey as if he were her own. To me that is the absolute best quality in a dog walker! Choosing Sierra as your dog walker is the absolute correct decision! Having Sierra walk your dog will keep you worry free and happy while your pup gets good exercise, has fun and is treated like family 😃”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple breeds and of varying ages. I’ve also helped train my own puppy, as well as friends’ dogs, the basics like potty training, sit, etc. I’m quite comfortable with puppies under 1 year old all the way to our senior friends. I’m currently a full-time dog mom and pet caretaker. I just graduated from grad school and don’t start my new job until this fall, and I thought - what a better way to spend my summer off taking care of my favorite animal and helping other pet owners? I’m an open communicator and can be available how you need me with the proper heads-up! I live in an apartment building with my fiancé and our sweet, cuddly boy dog (neutered). There’s 3 parks within walking distance and a dog park just an 8min drive away. Since I live in an apartment, I would recommend only small to medium dogs stay with us, but I’m always willing to travel to clients’ houses for dogs of all sizes. I treat my clients dogs as if they were my own fur baby. The love, kindness, & attention I give my sweet boy is the same love, kindness, & attention your dog will receive. My friend is also a vet tech I can always reach out to for advice/questions and I myself am a certified (human) healthcare professional.

About: YOᑌ ᕼᗩᗪ ᗰE ᗩT ᗷᗩᖇK 𐂯 I've always had a passion for working with animals, and that love has only grown over the years as I've helped family and friends with their furry friends. I was lucky enough to spend three and a half wonderful years at 4 Dogs Pet Supplies, a charming local shop in Charlotte, NC. It was such a joy to meet so many wonderful dog breeds and discover the best products and care practices for our beloved pets. I also got to team up with another small business, where I had the pleasure of caring for both dogs and cats and plants—everything from playful puppies to treasured older pets. Each day was filled with rewarding experiences in animal care! On top of that, I've volunteered at animal shelters and even participated in an amazing equine therapeutic riding program. These experiences have really deepened my commitment to animal well-being and the importance of supporting our community. It's been a truly fulfilling journey! And am very thankful for those who have trusted me with the animals. ✮ I am currently out of school for the summer and have a part-time job, which gives me plenty of availability to help care for your animals. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am available anytime after 1 PM for walks, drop-ins, or anything else you need. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, I can assist at any time. Let me know how I can help! 𐂯 I always strive to treat animals, plants, and homes with the same love and care I give to my own! My goal is to provide the best care possible for my clients, so I ask plenty of questions to understand their preferences. This helps me create a safe and secure environment while building trust with both the owner and their furry friends.

About: Lifelong animal lover in RVA with deep experience caring for pets of all ages—including seniors and those needing meds or insulin. I’ve loved and lost many furry family members, so I know how much yours means to you. Whether it’s long walks, couch snuggles, or playtime in the yard, I’ll treat your pup or kitty like my own. Let’s make your little nugget feel safe, loved, and seen while you’re away. I work for myself, and have a pretty flexible schedule. Love to take short walks throughout the day, and I really love to spoil a furbaby. This is very dependent on your space and neighborhood. We can chat about this so I know how best to take care of your buddy.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and was involved in sports growing up so pet sitting was always my go to job. I’ve done weekend stays to oversee pets and tend to their needs as well as dog walking and general pet sitting. My childhood dog was a lab mix who lived to be 17, so I have some great experience with older dogs. I work at a nonprofit from 9-5 M-F but I’m looking to use this as a weekend gig or anytime past 5 p.m. on the weekdays. Won’t be able to take pets in my home but I will be respectful of other people’s and I’m more so looking to be a walker
