About: Hi! I’m Cheyenne, a lifelong animal lover with hands-on professional experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I previously worked at a kennel-free dog boarding facility, where I helped care for multiple dogs at once in a safe, supervised environment. I’ve also worked as a full-time dog walker and pet sitter, providing daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, medication administration, and lots of attention and playtime. When I do go into the office, my office is dog friendly so I can bring a furry friend along if they enjoy the socialization! I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any specific routines your pet is used to. During visits, I make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just companionship. I also make sure basics like fresh water, clean feeding areas, and litter boxes are taken care of. For dog walks, I focus on safe handling, appropriate exercise for your dog’s energy level, and making sure they return home happy and settled. I always send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while keeping you informed and at ease.

About: I grew up with dogs and still watch my parents’ dog when they go out of town. I love meeting new animals, playing with them, and caring for them. I am currently doing Lyft full time so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can adjust my driving hours to whatever works best. I love playing with animals, petting them, and giving them cuddles. I have a pet of my own so I understand how hard it is to leave them and am happy to provide photos during my visits.

“Ophelia doesn’t take kindly to strangers; she’ll refuse to eat or to even come out of her bed. She’s an older dog and a REAL member of my family. So, I was a bit uncomfortable with the idea of someone else caring for my little baby. This was my first time using Rover. I only resorted to this because I was in a bind when a friend canceled due to being sick. I wasn’t disappointed! Nick sent me constant updates and cute videos to reassure me. About: From wolfhounds to chihuahuas, I have petsat them all! I have experience with giving medicine, assisting senior dogs with mobility, exercising, playing, feeding, and giving all the affection needed. Petsitting would be split with my workday on Monday -Wednesday. I can come in the morning, during my lunch break, and spend as much time as needed after work with your pet. Friday through Sunday I can do as many visits and walks as necessary. It is safer and better to build trust with any animal if there is a meet & greet before petsitting. This helps me know the routines of your household and shows the pets that I'm not a stranger when I come to care for them. Sticking to the routines/key words they know, engaging them with praise, play, or treats, and letting the dog/cat have space when needed - are all ways to help your pet be at ease.

About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs. Once the school year starts I will still be available! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. I also try to be very thorough with the pet care instructions and will ask questions/for clarification to ensure I am giving your pet the best care as possible.

About: I have grown up with pets (mostly cats) and love all animals dearly. I have a special knack with them. They seem to trust me, even those who are often wary of most folk. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, mice/rats, rabbits, reptiles, birds, and a variety of farm animals. My partner and I currently operate a cleaning and animal care business called Hygeia & Artemis. If you are interested in having your home cleaned in addition to the pet care provided we can discuss in person. It's always nice to return to a clean home and happy animals! I am self employed making it easy to adjust my schedule so I am available to take your fur child(ren) for walks or care for them in your absence. I currently don't have any pets but I always adhere to whatever care instructions the owner requests. I gain an animal's trust really quickly and treat all animals with love and respect.

About: Friends and family have relied on me numerous times to be their pet sitter. My roommate has a 3 year old golden retriever and an elderly cat who I love so dearly. I care for them when she cannot. My sister also has a golden retriever and I watch him when she goes out of town. I grew up with dogs and know how to cater to their needs. My grandparents even told me that I am the godmother to their 2 cats because they see how great I am with them. I work full time 8:00-5:00 and will happily watch your pets in the evening or weekends when you are away. I love taking pets on walks in the museum district!
