“Ruben was great with my Lily and it was a bonus that she had other dogs to play with. She’s a puppy so it’s important that she socializes as much as possible with other dogs and have a place to run around in. We will be booking again”

“Matt is amazing !! I moved to Richmond for work for 13 weeks and he has made my life easier taking care of my 1 year old puppy, Paige. His dog, Cooper is super super sweet. And Paige comes home exhausted from all the fun she has had ! Very grateful for Matt’s help”

“Danielle and Matt were amazing - so responsive and helpful with our dog despite the last minute ask. They kept us updated about how he was doing throughout the day as well which is always appreciated!”

During overnight stays, I provide: • Evening and morning walks • Fresh food and water • Medication administration (if needed) • Plenty of snuggles, attention, and companionship • Litter box or yard clean-up • Home security checks and plant watering (if requested) Your pet will enjoy a peaceful and safe night in the comfort of their home, with someone they know and trust close by. Establishing a consistent routine is essential for pets of all ages. Upon arrival, I'll attend to your pet's needs promptly, starting with a walk if crated, followed by plenty of reassuring praise. After the walk, I'll meticulously adhere to your feeding and care instructions.
“Susan is amazing and made our anxiety-inducing first drop off at doggie day care way easier! Easy communication and planning and she and her dog made mine feel right at home. Loved how many updates and pictures she sent us too! Our dog seemed happy and tired afterwards.”

“Julie was the absolute best! She was able to accommodate our travel schedule with no problem and gave Ziggy a very fun afternoon. We definitely recommend her for any pet stays!”
“Jasmine was great with our little puppy Bear! We had something come up last minute and she was available to take care of him at her house. About: Hi! I’m Taylor — a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all ages and personalities. I had my own dog for almost 16 wonderful years, and she was truly a beloved part of my life. After she passed, I began fostering because I couldn’t imagine life without dogs. I’ve now fostered several dogs, each with their own needs, quirks, and snuggle preferences. I’m patient, attentive, and love helping dogs feel safe, loved, and comfortable — whether that means giving extra cuddles, creating calm routines, or simply being a reassuring presence. I’m also a very active person, so if your dog enjoys long walks or even going for runs, I’m happy to match their energy. High-energy pups are always welcome! My goal is to make your dog feel at home and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love to meet your furry family member and care for them like my own. I work 100% remote so spend the majority of my day at home and would be with your furry friend. I am able to easily bake in walks and playtime during my workday to ensure they get the attention and exercise they need! We have a nice porch and a fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy time outside without worry. We also have a crate here for up to 70 lbs dog and can safely crate your pet to ensure they are comfortable and safe if left alone.
“Leo had a great time with Cheryl!! She is so lovely and did so good with Leo’s separation anxiety!! We are using her again next week for vacation boarding and I am super comfortable leaving my lil Leo with her! Highly recommend!”

“We had a last minute (day of) request for our two dogs. One recently had tooth extracted and the other has allergies and separation anxiety. Alexandra cared for these needs without any complaints! Alexandra did amazing with our two dogs! One of our dogs has bad separation anxiety, but he was immediately comfortable with Alexandra and wasn’t worried about us leaving! Alexandra treats your dogs as her own. I would definitely recommend her and use her again if I end up back in the area!”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life. Dogs, cats, and even farm animals—and I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to seniors who need medication and gentle care. I fostered through the Richmond SPCA in college, which taught me patience, how to read different personalities, and how to help shy or nervous pets feel safe. I’ve also worked with professional trainers while raising my own dog, so I’m comfortable reinforcing basic commands, routines, and positive behavior. I’m active and love taking dogs on long walks and play sessions, but I also know how to slow things down for older pets or those who prefer a calm routine. What sets me apart is that I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pet with someone new, and I focus on giving both you and your pet comfort while you’re apart—lots of love, clear communication, and updates that help you feel connected every step of the way. I live at home and work remotely, so I’m able to be with your pet throughout the day. This gives me the flexibility to stick to their routine, whether that means regular potty breaks, long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company so they never feel alone. Your pet won’t be waiting hours for attention, I’m around to give them consistent care and comfort. I live in a three bedroom home with plenty of space and a secure 6-ft fenced yard, with Ring cameras surrounding the property for added safety and peace of mind. My own dog is crate trained, friendly, and well-socialized—he loves to play but is gentle and respectful enough to give visiting dogs space when they need it. I can keep pets separate if preferred, and I have two bedrooms set up as little “pet hotels” so each dog has their own quiet, comfortable space to relax, sleep, or eat without stress. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I follow your routines closely, communicate often, and make sure every animal feels safe, understood, and treated like family.
“Elizabeth was amazing with Tater. He’s a puppy and, while the goodest of boys, takes some energy and a little patience. She even exposed him to her cat and gave us a full report on how he did with Miso so we’d know for future bookings. She was super flexible with our timing heading to/from Story Land with the kiddos and kept us up to date on what our littlest dude was up to while we were crushing the Polarcoaster.”

Hi there, I’m Raven, and I’m glad you’re here. At Doggy Adventures, my mission is to create safe, joyful, and unforgettable adventures for dogs while giving owners peace of mind. Every pup in my care gets personal attention, plenty of love, and an environment where tails never stop wagging. Pet care is a big part of my daily life. With Doggy Adventures, I spend most of my day making sure every dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. That being said, I usually have a lot of dogs in my care, and because of that and limited staff, I’m unable to accept dogs with severe anxiety or puppies who may need more one-on-one attention. However, feel free to reach out, and we can chat to see if it's a good fit! When caring for pets in my home or at a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm and safe environment where they feel comfortable and well taken care of. I follow any specific routines or requests you have to keep things consistent for your pet, from feeding and bathroom schedules to playtime and cuddle sessions.
“Peyton was amazing! Checked in with us regularly and ensured Jupiter had a great time. We will definitely book with Peyton again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our sweet girl!”

Ginter Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Matt is fantastic. My dog Ru loves going to his house so much that she sprints to his front door and will not look back for me at all. She has a great time with him and when I pick her up she is happy and tired in the best way. He clearly has a great understanding of dogs and is very professional and communicative. I feel completely confident leaving my girl there and I know she has the absolute best care.

I’m so grateful that I found them to take care of my old senior dog. He requires medications, a lot of love and attention and he gets exactly what he needs. I get a very happy pup after a long day at work. I’m looking forward to using Natalie for future bookings as I now trust her to take care of my fur baby.

Lydie was absolutely amazing. Lydie's warm, engaging personality and her deep knowledge of dogs made for a wonderful stay. Betty's pictures told the story, she enjoyed her time completely. Everything went perfectly and Lydie accommodated our schedule. Thank you again.
