I've had several dogs over the last 25 years and I'm currently 100% work from home so your dog will have plenty of attention and care while staying with me. I live in the Northside and have a very dog friendly house including a fenced in back yard. I have a 7 year old Chocolate Lab named Riley. She's an absolute sweetheart and has done great with all of the Rover dogs she's met.

I knew Pinot was in great hands with Matt. She had a blast playing with other dogs and Matt kept me informed throughout her entire stay. Pinot came back home a very happy pup!
Matt was an amazing Rover find. He was very quick with communication, and answered all the questions I had. He also allowed for a meet and greet prior to booking, and his home is truly set up for the pups to be comfortable. During my Bella’s stay he provided both pictures and updates every day which put my mind at ease while I was on vacation. I was nervous about leaving her with a stranger, but thought this was better than traditional boarding. And I am very happy I made this decision. I highly recommend Matt based on my experience.

Matt is our go-to! He is absolutely wonderful! Matt is spectacular at communicating and letting us know how our dog is doing. He sends amazing photos! He is thoughtful and caring. We always know our dog is loved and safe when he's with Matt. We would highly recommend Matt!

Schedule
With my 100% work from home schedule I'll have plenty of time to care for your dog. I typically will make sure that you dog gets daily walks around the neighborhood and enjoy some fetch/play in the back yard.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room for everyone to run around and play. The fence is over 6ft on all sides other than at the back property line where it is just over 4ft. Overall the house is extremely dog friendly and dogs typically enjoy free roam of the house including lounging on the furniture and sleeping in the bed unless you tell me otherwise. There's a security system and cameras in the front and back yards to keep an eye on everyone when I'm not there. I do ask that all dogs be up to date on all their veterinarian's recommended vaccinations and be on some form of flea prevention. I will ask for a copy of your dog's vaccination records before their first stay in order to assure that all the dogs stay healthy during their time here.

A typical day
I like to make sure that your dog gets at least one good walk in around the neighborhood and that we get several fetch/play opportunities in the back yard each day. I have plenty of dog toys for the back yard. If your dog is more energetic I also like to get down to the river for a hike.

- I can be very accommodating for dogs that require additional care in regards to medication, feeding/potty schedules, etc. I'm comfortable watching all breeds of dogs but because I tend to have more than one dog at the house between doggy daycare and boardings I do ask that you please let me know if your dog is reactive to other dogs. I'm happy to care for reactive dogs and block off my calendar while they stay with me but generally will adjust daily fees.
