“Mallory was beyond amazing, both for my pets as well as my house, going above and beyond for us, particularly in a tricky time. I would certainly book with Mallory again in a heartbeat.”

“Sara was great! We left our Nailah home for a night while we went on a trip and she took good care of her. She sent pictures as well as updates while we were gone and our Nailah really seemed to love her. Would highly recommend 10/10”

“Katie is the BEST! She watched my dog for a week in my home and was very communicative, kind, and caring for our dog. Can’t recommend her enough. Thank you!”

“Gertie has a lot of needs and Oli was attentive to them all. We so appreciate her patience with Gertie and working to keep her as calm and anxious free as possible. We came home to a clean house and very much appreciated the ease of communication!”

“Victor was a great companion to Onion - they took to each other right away. Victor was respectful of my place and left it in great condition. Victor is now on my list of pet sitters for the future.”

“Amanda is amazing! She’s stayed with our animals twice now and we’ll keep booking her anytime we’re out of town. The animals have always been so well cared for and our house perfectly clean. She was super flexible when we left town last week amidst the water debacle and had to stay at another location with our animals. She’s very communicative and always sends updates with pictures throughout the day. We can’t recommend her enough.”

“Thank you so much, Linsey! We really appreciated the thoroughness and all the photos despite the fact that I did not once respond to them - we were so stressed and busy at the wedding we were in and to just get consistent updates gave us one less thing to panic about. Hoping you can watch these monsters again soon!”

“Bryan took fabulous care of my two pups. He was very communicative, sent me updates and pictures even when he stayed with them just a few hours. Highly recommend and I will definitely use his services in the future.”

“Camryn was great. She was very communicative and we could tell she cared nicely for our two boys. She even noticed one of our boys had some itchy ears and offered to clean them out. Hopefully she is available next time we have to go out of town.”

“Kate took care of our husky-lab boy for a week while we were on our honeymoon. She did an absolutely fantastic job, sending us pictures and updates all throughout the trip, and being very respectful of his quirks. She left the house in spotless condition, even going above and beyond to ensure the house was perfect when we got home. Will definitely be reaching out for any future trips! 🖤🐶🐾”

“Kaitlyn was an amazing sitter for our two dogs! She was very communicative and sent great pictures that showed how happy our pups were with her. She went above and beyond during her stay, 10/10! Thank you Kaitlyn!”

“Dawn was absolutely wonderful! She kept us consistently updated with daily check-in photos of our pups, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. I had a pretty detailed (and admittedly long!) list of instructions for our dogs, and she took the time to carefully review everything with patience and professionalism. She followed through on every detail and made sure our fur babies were not only well cared for, but genuinely happy and comfortable. It’s clear that Dawn truly loves what she does. Her communication was excellent, and she was always quick to respond if we had a question. Knowing our “dog kids” were in such capable, attentive hands made it so much easier for us to relax and fully enjoy our vacation. We’re so grateful for her care and would absolutely trust her with our pups again!”

“Anna was extremely communicative and provided consistent updates while she watched my two pups during an out of town trip. I could tell through every photo and video she shared that the dogs were very well taken care of and comfortable. I would definitely book Anna again for future requests!”

“Charlotte took great care of my dog Cher and left the house super clean! She was super patient and understanding of Cher’s leash reactivity which made me feel more confident leaving. She also sent me tons of photos which was so nice because I was missing Cher a lot! Looking forward to hopefully having her stay again sometime. Thanks Charlotte!!!”

About: Hi! I’m a Richmond-based pet sitter with a special focus on cats. I take a calm, fear-free, positive-reinforcement approach to care, which means meeting animals where they are and letting trust build naturally. I’m especially experienced with caretaking for sick, chronically ill, and disabled cats. I understand firsthand how important it is to be patient, attentive, and extra caring to these precious creatures. I’m often told, “My pet doesn’t like anyone — I can’t believe they're letting you pet them.” I think animals respond to my quiet energy and respect for their boundaries. My philosophy is to never rush interaction, and I’m attentive to body language and stress signals. While cats are my specialty, I’m also comfortable with smaller dogs of varying temperaments and energy levels. My goal is always the same, to make your pet feel safe, understood, and cared for. I'm mostly self employed. I make my own schedule and can largely tailor it to your pet's needs. I tend to be a night owl so I can take care of them late into the night if needed. I can also bring my work to your home if full housesitting is preferred! I care for pets in their own environment for two reasons: I am unable to host them with my animals, and I believe they are most comfortable where they are most familiar. I follow each pet’s established routine closely. This includes feeding schedules, litter box or yard care, medications, enrichment, and any specific behavioral preferences. For cats, I prioritize calm entry, gentle engagement, and giving them the option to approach me first. I’m attentive to subtle stress signals and adjust my interaction level accordingly. I’m comfortable administering medications and monitoring for changes in appetite, litter habits, or behavior. For dogs, I provide structured walks, play, and positive reinforcement while maintaining consistent boundaries. I keep spaces clean, send detailed updates with photos, and aim to leave your home exactly as I found it (or better).
“This was our second time booking, and she’s amazing! Ellie and Payton were happy and relaxed when we got home. We loved the updates and photos…it’s such a relief knowing they’re in great hands!”

Ginter Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Dawn is very pleasant and personable, very loving and caring towards my sweet dog. Sent photos every day of her stay, which kept me confident about my dog and the care she was receiving. Dawn took her for neighborhood walks. Left a very favorable impression!!
Monique is an absolute professional in every sense. She took incredible care of our pets and it was very clear that she has a wealth of experience. Monique's communication was perfect, and we loved getting daily updates and photos while we were away. We'll absolutely be coming back to Monique for our future pet care needs.

Sarah was amazing! I couldn’t recommend her enough. She kept us up to date with pics throughout the day, loved on our babies, and had a positive and uplifting personality. I already want to rehire her for more dates! She kept us stress free and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our girls. Thank you so much, Sarah! ❤️

We couldn’t be happier with the care our boys received while we were on vacation last week. As always, she did an absolutely fantastic job! It gives us such peace of mind knowing our pups are in loving, capable hands whenever we’re away. She’s reliable, communicative, and truly treats our boys like her own. We always come home to a happy, well-cared-for pups — and that says everything. We’re so grateful to have someone we trust completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter!

Our dogs had a wonderful time during Haley’s housesitting. They were so happy and tired when we got home. One of our dogs is high energy and the other is a senior who takes medication. Haley did a great job with both of them and spent extra time with them. We got great pictures of them having a blast and cuddling.
