About: Got my first dog at 8 years old and have been hooked ever since. Trained my labrador retriever to be special needs certified when he was 2. Been helping pet parents around the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Always love to meet new people and their furry friends! Currently based in Richmond, VA as a Junior at VCU. Slowly finishing up my finals so my availability is becoming more and more flexible! My classes officially end May 5th so I’ll be completely free then! Pet care is very case sensitive and relies on the owners understanding of their pet. Hoping to connect with owners about their pet’s specific needs and provide that care to them to the best of my ability, whatever it may be!
“Oli is wonderful! Our pups need special care (one is a blind tripawd and the other wears shoes for all outings) and Oli did an excellent job caring for them - keeping up with all of their special needs, medications, and of course giving them lots of love.”

“Liesel was awesome with Hermie. I'd recommend and trust her 100% to watch and house sit your pet. Liesel provided day-to-day updates and was able to manage his medical condition when it popped up. I could tell from the updates that Hermie was comfortable in her care. I also came back to a clean home so I appreciated that, Liesel! Thanks again!”

“Egon was an absolute DELIGHT to work with. They were very communicative, asked great questions, and took excellent care of our older senior kitty and two kittens. They also managed some unexpected house stuff with grace and ease (including an internet outage and several service folks needing to come to the house to fix stuff). We came home to happy kitties and a spotless, well-cared-for house. We have already booked with Egon again and encourage others to work with them as well :)”

“Zander did a great job taking care of our dog and bringing in the mail. He was great about adjusting walk times to deal with very high outdoor temperatures and playing with our dog inside to make sure he got enough exercise. He sent lots of photos and notes. He was great with communicating. Our dog was healthy and happy when we returned after a week's vacation. Highly recommend!”
Ginter Park Terrace pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jordan is the best! She took care of our dog for a week in our home. We instantly knew we were in good hands at our meet and greet. Jordan is very kind, responsible and clearly loves animals. She proactively sent us multiple photos each day we were gone as well as updates on how our dog was doing. Our dog can be difficult around new people but Jordan handled him so well. Came back to the house being in excellent shape, too. Highly recommend Jordan, we would love to work with her again!

It was clear she genuinely cared about my dog, and seeing how happy and comfortable my dog was in her presence meant everything to me. Kate was wonderful with our dog who needs medications at specific times, and she communicated with us regularly. She sent pictures and updates, and she even cleaned the sheets and towels she used when staying at our house, which she also took very good care of while we were away. We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to others!

Douglas was such a great pick to hang with our pups and care for our home while we were gone. Our pups like to keep things interesting and Douglas’s patience with them is not only appreciated, but is admired, especially when it came to caring for our senior dog. We would gladly welcome Douglas back to our home, and I know the pups would love that too.
