“Celeste was great! They house sat for me and took care for my cats, sent me pictures and made sure they got attention, fed, and cleaned the litter box. Would definitely recommend them!”

About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs! Once the school year starts I can do weekends and afternoon/nights! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. I also try to be very thorough with the pet care instructions and will ask questions/for clarification to ensure I am giving your pet the best care as possible.
“Victor did great sitting for Ellie, kept her company all day, listened to her needs, gave her food and her medicine. Would absolutely book him again in the future!”

“Viv was fantastic with Mochi! She kept us updated throughout our trip, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. I loved getting the cute pictures and hearing that everything was going well. It’s clear she enjoys caring for pets and she is very trustworthy. We were so happy with the experience that we rebooked her immediately. I would absolutely recommend Viv to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Lindy was amazing! They gave us great updates every day on how Laika was doing, and what they were up to everyday. And lots of adorable pictures in which it was clear Laika was having a great time with them. Highly recommend!”

“Rosemary is the best! She provided our animals a wonderful care experience and was very thoughtful in watching our house while we were away. Rosemary is also very communicative, letting us know how our animals were while we were away.”

“Gertie has a lot of needs and Oli was attentive to them all. We so appreciate her patience with Gertie and working to keep her as calm and anxious free as possible. We came home to a clean house and very much appreciated the ease of communication!”

“Emily was great! This was my first experience with Rover and I couldn’t have picked a better person. She was great with my puppy Lola and kept me updated during my whole work trip. She was trustworthy and really just made the whole experience so easy. My Lola was so happy when I got home and looked very well taken care of. Thank you Emily!”
“Thank you Marissa! Figgy was well cared for and were so thankful to be able to leave her at home instead of at a kennel. Marissa left the house spotless and was extremely flexible when our plans changed.”

“Joe was great with our pup Ripple. He came the day before for a meet and greet and got comfortable with her. On the day we were gone he sent lots of updates so we knew she was doing well.”

About: I have lived with and cared for many pets over the years mostly dogs and cats, but I also have experience with lizards, fish and rabbits. I have experience with bulldogs, golden retrievers, all the doodles, beagles, muts, chihuahuas, shepherds, and all diffrent color of cat. I will love your pet no matter how lazy, nervous, reactive, stubborn, or high energy. I will even wipe the folds of your french bulldog. I take pride in helping you have peace of mind that your pets and home are well taken care of while you are away. I currently work remotely with flexible hours so I’m free to help with your pet most weekdays and some weekends with enough advance notice. I’m located in the fan so I would love to find pets in the neighborhood to walk or sit! I also am available for overnight short term pet and house sits, if it feels like a right fit :) When I’m in a client home I’m sure to respect their home like it’s my own and leave it cleaner than I found it. I tend to follow the pets lead (if cat or dog), if they’re lazy we’ll be lazy and if they’re energetic we will play all day. I will even sit with your animal while they eat and encourage them with a baby voice (yes this is a thing with one of my clients).
“Catherine was truly an angel, and I honestly don’t think we could have asked for a better sitter! She stayed with our two dogs for about a week while we were out of town, and during that time our air conditioning unexpectedly went out for two days. Instead of leaving or making it our problem, she handled everything with so much patience and grace, communicated with us throughout, and stayed with the dogs the entire time to make sure they were comfortable and cared for. She even coordinated with our landlord, who later told us she was the best house sitter/Rover he’d ever met - which says a lot! When we got home, our dogs were so happy, relaxed, and completely themselves. There was zero stress or adjustment period, and honestly, I don’t even think they missed us with Catherine around! 😂 She went so far above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. We would trust her with our home and our pups again in a heartbeat. If you’re considering booking Catherine, do it - you (and your pets) will be incredibly lucky to have her! 🙏🏼”

“Daniel was awesome as always! Great with our cats, even managed to get our older cat his transdermal medication successfully. He's also respectful of our home- we never feel any anxiety with having him in the space.”

The median cost per night for house sitting in Pine Camp is $50

Amber was a fantastic dog and house sitter while we were away for 8 days! Both of our dogs have a few peculiarities that she was able to navigate, our home was very clean when we got home, and the dogs were very well loved! She communicated well and was reliable throughout the entire booking/sitting process.

Steven was as wonderful a pet sitter to my dog and two cats as I could have hoped for. My dog has a medical condition that requires some specific aspects of care, and Steven was great at managing these. I ran into some issues with her medication order while I was away, but Steven was extremely communicative and easy to work with while I got the medications sorted. He sent pictures of my pets daily and didn't mind me reminding him a hundred times of things he was already doing! My dog loved him and the kitties didn't even mind him (rare for them)! This was my first time using Rover, and I would 100% recommend Steven to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet uncle :)
The sweetest person ever!!! So happy I booked her! She kept me updated frequently on my cats as well as gave them a bunch of love. I'm so happy that my baby cat fell very comfortable since she tends to be very nervous around new people but with Veronica, my cat loved and snuggled with her which means a lot!!! Thank you so much for being so sweet and patient with my girls would definitely recommend

Elizabeth took wonderful care of Roo while we were away for four days. She was incredibly flexible, communicative, and made us feel completely at ease throughout our entire time away. She sent frequent updates and pictures, which we really appreciated. It was clear that Roo was well cared for, and Elizabeth left our home very clean and treated it with respect. We would absolutely book with Elizabeth again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter.

Lindy was so lovely. She was a great communicator- she sent me photos and a pup update each day. She took careful care of Sadie’s senior needs. When I got home, Sadie girl seemed at ease and the house was in order. I am grateful for Lindy’s time spent with Sadie and would recommend her as a sitter to anyone.

Hannah house sat for us over the holiday weekend and did an amazing job communicating and keeping us updated (even without service!) She took time out of her schedule to meet the kiddos and took to them immediately. She is patient, kind and did a wonderful job taking care of our senior dog and teenage cat. Our boy hates the rain and she made sure he was comfortable while doing his business. She also followed my laundry list of instructions and left our house spotless. If you are searching for a reliable, trustworthy sitter, we highly recommend Hannah!
