About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs of all sizes for the past 4-5 years specifically cane corsos, pit bulls danes etc. Usually for friends and family but i have had multiple other clients. I’d love to take your dogs on long walks and visit them while your on vacation or family events etc :) I’m currently working full time but in transition to opening my schedule. When caring for pets in your home, or walking pets, I aim to provide an enrichment and exercise focused care practice. Enrichment is a fundamental need of all animals and I believe in equally caring for their mental and physical needs. While walking pets, I walk with them at their pace and am happy to implement general training practices such as the focus command. While watching pets for an extended period, I prioritize meeting their needs on their regular routine and frequency/intensity so as not to disrupt their regular behaviors and needs.

“Catherine was truly an angel, and I honestly don’t think we could have asked for a better sitter! She stayed with our two dogs for about a week while we were out of town, and during that time our air conditioning unexpectedly went out for two days. Instead of leaving or making it our problem, she handled everything with so much patience and grace, communicated with us throughout, and stayed with the dogs the entire time to make sure they were comfortable and cared for. She even coordinated with our landlord, who later told us she was the best house sitter/Rover he’d ever met - which says a lot! When we got home, our dogs were so happy, relaxed, and completely themselves. There was zero stress or adjustment period, and honestly, I don’t even think they missed us with Catherine around! 😂 She went so far above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. Makenzie is the best and did such a great job with my 9 year old high energy shepherd mutt! She was super responsive, sent lots of pictures, and took great care of our house. We hired her two weekends in a row and will definitely call her again for future dogsitting needs.
Mallory was the best choice for our pets! Having two dogs and two cats, it’s not always easy to find the right person to take care of them and we are new to Richmond. She spent the night wit them, making them feel comfortable and keeping us posted via texts and pictures. Our pets loved her, had no issues and she was respectful of our home. She also met us a couple times before the actual stay so that one of our dogs could get familiar with her. Couldn’t recommend her enough, you can tell she actually enjoys spending time with them and cares for their well-being!
Nina was absolutely wonderful at caring for my pups while I was away for work. They got to keep their general routine and her photos showed me they were up to their favorite things—walks, snoozing, getting pets. I loved the updates I got and would be lucky to book Nina again!
I adopted Gobi in May and this was our first time away from him. Emily was super great and from her updates it seems like Gobi had a great time! I recently had Estella watch my dog, Levi, for a full week, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Levi is an overly anxious, high‑energy, and sometimes reactive dog, so leaving him with someone new is never easy for me. Estella handled him beautifully. He seemed calm, comfortable, and well‑cared‑for the entire time. Her communication throughout the week made a huge difference. Because of her thoughtful check‑ins, I was actually able to relax and enjoy my vacation. When I returned home, my house was in perfect shape, and Levi looked great. I highly recommend Estella to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and capable pet sitter. She gave me peace of mind and took wonderful care of my boy.
It was Riley's first time dog and house sitting for us, and she did a great job taking care of our girls. From making sure their somewhat-complicated food was prepared correctly to giving our older pups their pills at each meal, she followed all of the instructions to a T. Riley was great about giving us updates on everyone's wellbeing and send good pictures throughout her stay. It was easy to see how comfortable our dogs were with her just a few days in, even our most vocal, sometimes moody girl, Maisy. I can’t say enough great things about our McKenzie! Leaving your pets behind is never easy, but knowing they were loved and cared for gave me complete peace of mind while we were away. Catherine was fantastic. From the day I left, I had zero worries, she sent updates and photos on her own, I never had to ask what was going on. Followed every instruction exactly: medications, supplements, kept his water topped off, walked him the full distance I asked for and then some. You could tell she wasn’t just checking boxes. Jonathan did an excellent job watching our dog, June. He was communicative, shared beautiful pictures of June each day, and left our house cleaner than he found it.
