Before our trip Oli took the time out to meet our pets and was happy to have all the detailed info about how to take care of them. Last minute our dog needed almost daily meds given while we were away and Oli didn’t hesitate to step up. She sent us multiple pictures and updates throughout the day which is as such a relief! When we came back our house was even cleaner than before and our pets barely greeted us. Which means they had an amazing time with Oli! About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs! Once the school year starts I can do weekends and afternoon/nights! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. About: I've been volunteering at the Richmond Animal League for over a year and have previous experience working at shelters and dog daycares. I've always loved caring for animals; I used to volunteer at the SPCA when I was younger and I have two dogs of my own that I enjoy taking on walks and playing fetch with in the backyard. I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week (mostly evenings). Other than that, schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available throughout the week, as well as weekends. I'm more interested in drop-in visits and dog walking, but I'll be able to petsit for as long as you need with enough notice! For pet-sitting, I'll be able to stay and take care of your pets for as long as you need me to be there. I can stay all day and even overnight if needed, or just check in periodically throughout the day! I'll carefully follow instructions given on feeding, walks/exercise, morning and bedtime routines, medications, and just overall entertainment. I'm great with dogs of all kinds of energy, whether they want to be active all day long, or just snuggled up on the couch!

“Catherine was truly an angel, and I honestly don’t think we could have asked for a better sitter! She stayed with our two dogs for about a week while we were out of town, and during that time our air conditioning unexpectedly went out for two days. Instead of leaving or making it our problem, she handled everything with so much patience and grace, communicated with us throughout, and stayed with the dogs the entire time to make sure they were comfortable and cared for. She even coordinated with our landlord, who later told us she was the best house sitter/Rover he’d ever met - which says a lot! When we got home, our dogs were so happy, relaxed, and completely themselves. There was zero stress or adjustment period, and honestly, I don’t even think they missed us with Catherine around! 😂 She went so far above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for.
