“Viv was fantastic with Mochi! She kept us updated throughout our trip, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. I loved getting the cute pictures and hearing that everything was going well. It’s clear she enjoys caring for pets and she is very trustworthy. We were so happy with the experience that we rebooked her immediately. I would absolutely recommend Viv to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I’m a medical student at VCU on summer break and missing my own pets at home. I’ve walked neighborhood dogs and fostered shelter dogs and cats for several years and have volunteered walking dogs at Richmond Animal League (RAL) for the past year. I’m responsible, hardworking, and dependable and looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m a medical student on summer break for the next couple months and will be doing research remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can adapt my timing to yours. I’m comfortable caring for your pets in my apartment having fostered pets here in the past or coming to your home. I’ve worked with shy dogs, energetic pups, playful puppies and everything in-between! I’m comfortable with a range and have also given medications and done some training if that’s something that needs to be continued.
“Kaleigh is amazing! This was the first time leaving my pup and Kaleigh made me feel at ease with consistent communication and updates. She took the time to learn my dog’s personality and routine so she could be as comfortable as possible. I’d definitely recommend Kaleigh!”

“Jamie was so great with our Claire! Claire is a bit shy around new people but I think she was on Jamie’s lap before we were out of the area! We would love to have her stay with our four legged child again.”

“We felt at ease when Emily stayed with our 10 month old great dane pup and 7 year old Border Aussie. I got pictures everyday we were gone and the dogs were happy and relaxed when we got home. Bonus points for the house being clean when we got home! We are hopeful to have Emily care for our pets and home again!”

“Violet was great with our dogs. They can be a bit high maintenance and she took that on with grace and understanding. Would highly recommend Violet and will be using her again!”
“Daniel was incredibly helpful and attentive when my dogs had some stomach issues during their stay. He took extra care of them, which gave me peace of mind. I really appreciate his kindness and dedication!”

About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs! Once the school year starts I can do weekends and afternoon/nights! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. I also try to be very thorough with the pet care instructions and will ask questions/for clarification to ensure I am giving your pet the best care as possible.

Conrad took great care of Finn and held down the fort at our house for a week. He was communicative and kept a very consistent routine with photos for peace of mind ☺️we would recommend him to anyone in need and will keep him at the forefront of our minds going forward.

Amber was a fantastic dog and house sitter while we were away for 8 days! Both of our dogs have a few peculiarities that she was able to navigate, our home was very clean when we got home, and the dogs were very well loved! She communicated well and was reliable throughout the entire booking/sitting process.

Steven was as wonderful a pet sitter to my dog and two cats as I could have hoped for. My dog has a medical condition that requires some specific aspects of care, and Steven was great at managing these. I ran into some issues with her medication order while I was away, but Steven was extremely communicative and easy to work with while I got the medications sorted. He sent pictures of my pets daily and didn't mind me reminding him a hundred times of things he was already doing! My dog loved him and the kitties didn't even mind him (rare for them)! This was my first time using Rover, and I would 100% recommend Steven to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet uncle :)
The sweetest person ever!!! So happy I booked her! She kept me updated frequently on my cats as well as gave them a bunch of love. I'm so happy that my baby cat fell very comfortable since she tends to be very nervous around new people but with Veronica, my cat loved and snuggled with her which means a lot!!! Thank you so much for being so sweet and patient with my girls would definitely recommend

Amaya did an amazing job. Love her fun and bubbly personality. She was very consistent with her updates and easy to talk to. Knowing our babies were in her good care made our vacation much more relaxing. I would highly recommend and can't wait to book her again.
