About: I have many years of personal experience caring for cats, including senior cats and cats with chronic health conditions such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. My experience includes following detailed feeding and care routines, administering oral and topical medications, monitoring appetite and water intake, maintaining clean litter areas, and watching for changes in weight, energy, behavior and bathroom habits. I have also helped one of my own cats recover from a wound that required consistent cleaning, prescribed topical treatment and close monitoring. That experience reinforced the importance of patience, careful attention and following care instructions consistently, even when a cat is less than thrilled about the process! Caring for senior and special-needs cats has taught me to recognize subtle behavioral changes and respect each cat’s individual comfort level. Some cats welcome immediate affection, while others need time and space to build trust. I never force interaction, and I follow each owner’s instructions carefully while adapting my approach to the pet’s personality. My schedule is currently flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon and evening visits based on availability. I keep my service area intentionally small so I can arrive reliably, spend the full scheduled time with each pet and avoid overbooking. Before a first booking, I prefer to meet the pet and review feeding instructions, medication routines, emergency contacts, veterinarian information, entry procedures and any household safety concerns. I follow written care instructions carefully, I will never force interaction with a nervous pet. I'll confirm that doors and entry points are secured, and provide photos and detailed updates after each visit.

About: I am very available in the summertime (I am a teacher), and I am available on day on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, I am able to travel to your pet in the morning and evening (before and after work). On weekends and on school breaks I am very flexible. I currently am a teacher, so I am available morning and evening on weekdays, and I am available all day on weekends. I am also available all the time in the summer. I am very willing to come take care of your pets at your house. I am very welcoming to all behaviors and I will follow all expectations perfectly, as well as take care of your animal with as much love as you would!

About: Hi, I'm Emily! I've been drawn to animals of all kinds since I was a kid! I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs, and have had a dog of my own since 2021. I'm well-versed in animal care; in addition to the basics (walks, feeding, play), I'm familiar with many common needs, like medication administration, training/behavioral reinforcement, and gland expression. I have a flexible schedule and typically respond to requests within a few hours. I'm able to spend a lot of my time at home; usually when I'm out of the apartment, it's for no more than about four hours or so at a time. My standard schedule is to provide three walks a day (morning, midday, evening) plus a quick potty break before bedtime, but I can adjust that up or down depending on your dog's needs. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of pets, cuddles, and playtime. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed, but if that's a behavior you're trying to limit, I can take that into account while your pet is staying here. At all times, and especially when outside, the safety of your pet is paramount to me. During walks, I actively monitor for dangerous situations/behaviors, like encounters with unfamiliar dogs or trying to eat things they shouldn't. Please feel free to share anything about your pet that I should take into account while they're in my care.

But she was super patient with them and gave them all the love they needed while I was gone. I was so super happy and relaxed to know they were in such great and caring hands. Heck, even just the trek to my trash can for litter box cleaning was an extra effort in and it's self. Can't recommend Danyelle enough!”

I moved to Richmond a few months ago to begin graduate school, but because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I had to leave my own dogs with my parents. I also have experience working at a doggie daycare, where I cared for dogs with different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I miss spending time with them dearly, so I would love the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. It would be a privilege to give your furry family member the same care, attention, and affection I give my own animals. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I can plan walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins around my classes and schoolwork, giving each pet the attention they deserve. I also enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so taking dogs on walks would fit naturally into my routine. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule to help them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. Because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I’m unable to provide pet-care services in my own home. However, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I will carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and any other parts of your pet’s usual routine. I’ll treat your home respectfully, give your pet plenty of attention and affection, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your loved one is safe and well cared for.

About: I've been pet sitting since I was a little kid and grew up with dogs and cats, and since I work from home full-time, I have a flexible schedule. I love getting outside for walks and tend to walk 10k steps daily, so if you have an active dog, I’m your girl! I don’t currently have pets of my own, so I love getting to spend quality time with yours! My ultimate goal is for you to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home from 9am - 5pm, so I’ll be very available during the week. I have set evening plans on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I have no standing commitments all other days of the week. I will follow whatever protocol you have for your pets. Whether that’s a specific routine, individual needs, and/or keeping you up to date with pics / messages. I want you to feel like your furry friends are in good hands!
