“Krista is incredibly reliable and considerate. She has been walking our pups 1-2 times weekly for 8 months now! Our whole zoo (2 dogs and 2 cats) feel safe with her, and look forward to their weekly head scratches, playtime, and treats with her. I appreciate that she pays special attention to each animal’s different personality and needs. Krista sends us updates on how the animals are acting and if she notices anything unusual. It’s especially reassuring since one of our dogs has high anxiety. I feel very comfortable knowing my animals are in great hands when I’m at work or out of town. 11/10 would recommend!!”

About: My family has had dogs since I was born, and since I was 10 I took on jobs looking after the dogs in my neighborhood. I have a lot of availability during weekdays and nights, as well as general flexibility in my schedule! I also have a car so I am able to get where I need to go in a punctual manner. I have a fenced in yard, and my house is right next to a wooded park that is great for walks. As for cats, I have a large bedroom, and well as some baby fences I could use to block doors to the outside. I also have cat toys!

About: I’ve personally have two dogs and one cat, but taken care of many more. Puppies, potty accidents, senior dogs, grouchy cats. I love them all! Looking to gain more professional experience with different animal personalities. I am a former dog foster for the Richmond SPCA and Beagles & Bentleys. My availability is mostly open during the week! For weekends, I might need request decently far an advance as I do Rover as my side job. My home has already been made pet friendly and has the space to accommodate 1-2 more pets (depending on size) as I do have two of my own. I like to get a sense of how the pet feels about his / my home to establish their level of comfortability and trust.

About: I’ve had pets nearly my whole life and have been known to struggle to walk past an animal in need. This means rescuing an injured squirrel, a Cooper’s hawk, an opossum, and more, going the extra mile even when it was deeply inconvenient for me to do so. I also grew up attending zoo camp and then volunteering at a zoo from age 5 to 14, caring for a wide range of animals. I have worked with high energy pitties, a blind and anxious German shepherd, birds, cuddly kitties, fearful kitties, diabetic kitties, rabbits, and others. I have administered shots, IVs, medications, eye drops, and more. I am persistent and typically can win over even the shyest and most anxious fur baby. I have a genuine love for caring for pets and would be honored to care for yours! I am currently carefully thinking about my next full time role and working part time. My partner is an immigrant seeking employment during a time when that is extremely difficult due to the political situation. Any supplemental income is incredibly helpful for me as we navigate. I have a reliable vehicle, plenty of time to play with your pets, and love to love on them. I have a reliable car and I keep my word. I am communicative, honest, and truly love animals. About: As the owner of high energy pets, I am an expert at walks and enrichment. I love animals and am often the first person my friends and family ask to watch their pets when they go out of town. I have a flexible schedule and can be available to care for your pets! On weekends, I am available for petting sitting or long walkies. I have a fenced yard and a neighborhood that is good for walks. About: I grew up with our family's miniature dachshund since I was 12 years old. During that time, I learned to take care of her and what it takes to be a good dog owner. Don't tell my family, but I'm definitely my dog's favorite! Growing up, I was always the go-to dog, cat, and one time a mini pig, sitter for friends and family. Taking care of animals has always been a passion for me! Since I moved out of my parents' home, I'm no longer directly in charge of taking care of my family dog, but I have now adopted a cat. I have always felt a special connection to dogs, and I am happy to say I feel that way about cats now too. I work full-time; however, I live close to my job and have flexibility when it comes to coming home to take care of any pets. I also have my afternoons free!
