“Devin was a life saver squeezing some dog walks in around the holidays. Thanks for being punctual & communicative about how things went Devin!”
About: I’m a professional behavior analyst so it is no challenge at all for me to help with puppies, anxious pets, and bully breeds! All paws are welcome aboard! I manage a behavior analysis practice so I have a fairly flexible schedule! I can help with drop off and pick up if it makes it easier for you even! I have a fully fenced in yard with dog door for free 24/7 access to come and go as pups please! I also have two lovely doggo’s of my own to welcome yours, keep them company and show them the ropes! I can do light training, including crate training.
“Maria and Luis were wonderful with Murphy! They were communicative and easy going. I was nervous, as this was my first time having Murphy walked by a stranger, but feel so comfortable leaving her in their care!!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was a child and have always loved it! I am unable to have a pet at this time, so spending time with other people’s pets brings me so much joy. I’m hoping to play a part in keeping your pets active, along with myself! I currently work Thursday through Sunday, with some flexibility, depending on the week. I’m available to walk your pups in the morning on any weekday and later in the day Monday through Wednesday I currently cannot have any pets in my home, but am definitely looking to walk the pups through whatever neighborhood you live in. I’ve lived in Richmond for 10 years now and am comfortable walking pretty much anywhere!
“Riley was amazing! Helped me out on relatively short notice for a few days while I had to be away at work, she took great care of my two sweet, energetic girls and followed all of my instructions and even came over to meet the dogs and get acquainted beforehand! Would highly recommend!”

About: I am a musician, property manager, & ex-software dev who enjoys taking care of animals. One of my favorite experiences was caring for a small farm (dogs, cats, horses, and chickens!) in Kentucky. I love taking dogs on walks around town & to explore the river! I am committed to consistent and clear communication; I place a high value on the professional relationship between house-sitter and host. I love sending daily updates as requested. I don't work during the day, so I can accommodate feedings, med delivery, walks, and playtime all day long! I try to structure my day around the client's schedule, so that the animals don't experience a disruption in their normal routine. I love doing overnight sits for pets in the environment they are most comfortable in — their own home. I find it easy to adapt to a pet’s schedule and routine and I love exploring new places around town via walks!
“Emily is seriously the best! She comes and walks my dog Kona multiple times a week and he absolutely loves her. He looks forward to her coming and I feel so safe and happy knowing she’s going to visit him while I’m at work. I couldn’t ask for a better human to help take care of my baby bear ♥️.”

About: I have been taking care of pets professionally for 8 years and have been taking care of my own personal pets for 15 years. I love being outside and I love playing and spending time caring for animals of all kinds. I know some very good walking paths and parks in the area. I have a very flexible schedule and can spend as much time as is needed with the dogs and other animals. I have pet sat for many different kinds of animals and many breeds of dogs. I have experience both pet sitting where I need to stay in the house overnight and pet sitting where I just need to stop by throughout the day. I have a lot of experience dog walking in the area. I have also watched numerous cats and have had cats of my own. I am currently working part time so I have ample daytime and evening availability for pet care most days of the week and over holidays. I follow directions explicitly to ensure the best care for all pets I am watching. I have experience safely walking and playing with pets individually or together.

About: I’m a behavior analyst with a big heart for animals, which helps me understand and respond to each pet’s unique needs. I’ve trained my family’s German Shepherd using positive reinforcement and have experience providing calm, structured care. I also have a cat at home who loves dogs, so I’m comfortable supporting safe dog–cat interactions. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like family. I’m currently taking a break from work and would love to spend that time caring for sweet animals. I’m available weekdays from 8am–10pm (cats/dogs) and can also do overnight or multi-day stays (dogs ONLY). I have plenty of time to give your pet lots of attention, love, and care while you’re away. I have a side yard up on a hill for supervised outdoor time, and since I love being outside myself, I’m always happy to get pets moving and exploring! I can safely transport pups in my car for walks by the river or along nearby safe paths. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, happy, and well cared for with a balance of activity and relaxation. I have plenty of time and want to hangout with animals so can stay a while to play and give attention in your home :).
About: I’ve had cats and dogs in my house and care for as long as I can remember. I started officially pet sitting when I was 15 and feel especially comfortable with cats, beagles, golden retrievers, & german shepherds, although I truly love every pet! Familiar and comfortable with walking, feeding, grooming, & helping with pet medications! I am currently a third year law student at Richmond Law! I can care for your pets before my first classes at 10am, midday or early afternoon depending on classes, and any evening after 5! I appreciate detailed directions because I like to follow them to a tee. I try my best to help pets keep the same routine so as not to have to get used to anything new besides me.
About: For nearly two decades, I’ve cared for horses, cats, and dogs with patience, consistency, and genuine passion. My five years in a private animal hospital equipped me with medical handling skills, from administering medications to supporting animals with special needs. Whether it’s a trail-savvy horse, an energetic pup, or a shy cat, I make every animal feel safe, understood, and loved. As a full time employee, I am available on a weekday and weekend basis, with the ability to check in before my shift (930 AM), on lunch (flexible), and/or after (6pm). Weekend availability is flexible depending on prior commitments. I operate with caution and will not take risks when caring for your pet. I will navigate their space as instructed and prioritize their comfort and safety first and foremost.
“Heather was absolutely amazing with our sweet but skittish dog! She took very great care of her and made sure she got plenty of sniffs in! Heather also took my last minute booking which was incredible! We will definitely be rebooking!!”

“Rachel was fantastic in taking care of my fur baby Nappa. He can be overly excited and pull when he walks but Rachel loved him like her own. Thank you so much for loving my boy and keeping my mind at ease while my family and I were away.”

About: I’m new to Rover sitting so I don’t have many reviews yet, but I’m no stranger to petsitting. I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to all kinds of pet personalities. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. I am currently an online psychology masters student finishing my thesis and a substitute teacher. Since my recent medical retirement from the military, my schedule’s become more flexible, which means more walks, belly rubs, and playtime for your pets! I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I will also accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.
“Lauren has been walking my pup for months now and she is awesome... super dependable, flexible, and always sending great pictures/updates. Max loves her and is always so excited for his afternoon walk!”
Fulton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Bethany was absolutely wonderful with my two big guys and has been great with my scheduling and time changes. She handled their size and energy with ease and clear competence; its a relief to know they’re in good hands. I’ll definitely be booking her again - she has been incredibly communicative, flexible, reliable, and consistent, and I have been very appreciative of her efforts and willingness to go above and beyond!

Sammy is the absolute best! This is the first time we have utilized a dog walking app for our sweet boy and she made us as well as him feel comfortable the entire time. We booked last minute and she was more than happy to accommodate us. We truly could not have asked for a better experience!

We've used Rover a few times previously and Bridgette was the best yet! She was so quick to respond and very flexible with our schedule (even being last minute). Our pup can be a bit vocal and hard to warm up to strangers but he loved Bridgette from the get go and she kept up with his active lifestyle! 11/10 will be reaching out again

I couldn't be happier with the care my pets babies receive from our wonderful sitter. She is incredibly reliable, always showing up when expected and following through on every request with attention and dedication. What truly sets her apart is the genuine love and compassion she shows for my pets—they adore her, and I can see they feel safe and happy in her care. She consistently goes above and beyond, doing everything I ask with great care and responsibility. She's also flexible, which has been a lifesaver more than once when my schedule changed unexpectedly. Most importantly, I trust her completely—both with my beloved pets and in my home. I’m truly grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and caring, and I look forward to a long relationship with her. Highly recommend!

Punctual, reliable, and dependable. Abigail is warm and friendly while being exceptionally professionally competent and immediately put me at ease. Abigail consistently provided updates, is an excellent communicator, and established a genuine rapport with my dogs. Appreciate her time and will definitely book her again!
