About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life of all sizes. I grew up with a great pyranees/ border collie and have a dog of my own who is a dachshund. I dog sat for my neighbor, friends, and relatives frequently. I also have experience in sitting for cats as well. I can also help your dog learn new tricks! I taught my dog how to sit, stay, lay down, paw, roll over, follow, and wait all within 6 months. I am currently a part-time employee and have a dog of my own, so I have plenty of time and experience in pet care to give your furbaby the care they deserve! I’m flexible to what they need. Whatever needs you have for your furbaby I can meet! My dog is very particular, so I am patient, willing and understanding to what your pet needs.

About: I have experience caring for dogs through both long-term and everyday responsibilities, including helping raise my aunt’s dog from puppyhood and regularly caring for my boyfriend’s dog. I even take my cat on walks, so I’m very attentive to both physical activity and emotional enrichment. II believe pets communicate their needs through their behavior and body language, so I always pay close attention to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I respect each pet’s boundaries while also giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and care. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, maintaining their routine, and making sure they don’t feel lonely or stressed while their owner is away.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up and had to take care of them a lot as well as having experience as a kennel tech over some summers! I’m currently off over the summer while school is out so my availability is very open. I can take care of your pets when ever you need me. I have an apartment that I am more than happy having pets stay in however there is no yard. I am happy to stay with them and house sit.

I’m attentive to each dog’s unique needs, whether that means extra patience with a senior dog, sticking closely to medication schedules, or giving a nervous pup time to warm up. Having my own dogs has taught me how important it is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and stress-free while their owners are away. I'm in graduate school but most of my classes are online. As a dog owner of two pups already, pet care is a big part of my daily and weekly routine, from feeding and giving medication to going on neighborhood walks and playing fetch in the backyard. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play under supervision. I stick closely to each dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walk times, crate use, and house rules. I respect how every owner has trained their dog — if they’re allowed on furniture, I’m happy to keep that consistent, and if not, I reinforce boundaries and provide comfortable dog beds for rest. My goal is to make their time away feel as normal and stress-free as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was a child and have always loved it! I am unable to have a pet at this time, so spending time with other people’s pets brings me so much joy. I’m hoping to play a part in keeping your pets active, along with myself! I currently work Thursday through Sunday, with some flexibility, depending on the week. I’m available to walk your pups in the morning on any weekday and later in the day Monday through Wednesday I currently cannot have any pets in my home, but am definitely looking to walk the pups through whatever neighborhood you live in. I’ve lived in Richmond for 10 years now and am comfortable walking pretty much anywhere!

About: My daughter and I have been doing Rover together for years. This summer, she is home from school at UVA and excited to help out with additional tasks like dog walking and house sitting! We have both had dogs our entire lives, all sizes and life stages. We began Rover in 2019 after losing our 10 yr old black lab to diabetes, looking to keep our home lively. We are both excited to meet your pets and help out! I work from home and will be with your best friend all day long. I am up early for my morning walk and would love the company of your dog! I live in a great dog friendly community, we have lots of great green space and multiple dog parks within walking distance! Would happily spend the day with your dog at the dog park if that is a good place for them.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!
