As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve been caring for neighbors’ pets since I was a kid — walking dogs while my friends were busy riding bikes and playing. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I’ve had dogs of my own for most of it. After having to say goodbye to my StellaBlue, I’m not ready for another pet of my own. But I would be truly honored to be “Uncle Steven” to your furry family members. I’m also a freelance photographer and do other gig work, which gives me the flexibility to be available when you need me — even on short notice or in emergency situations. I understand that times are tough right now. People are being extra thoughtful about where their money goes. I feel if you're going to spend it, it should be with someone you trust completely to provide the very best care for your pets — because they deserve it, and so do you. My goal is to offer you peace of mind while you're away, knowing your pets are being cared for with the same love and attention I'd give my own. Every pet (and home) I care for is treated exactly how I would treat my own. That means snuggles on the couch (unless you prefer otherwise), a consistent routine, and never feeding anything you haven’t approved. I'm here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy — so you can travel or work worry-free.

I treat every pet(and home) I care for like they are my own. Meaning they will be treated like family, with snuggles on the couch, unless requested otherwise. I also understand the importance of consistency in a pet's diet, and I will never give them anything you haven't approved. I'm ready and willing to give your pets the love and attention they deserve, whenever they need it.

Steven was as wonderful a pet sitter to my dog and two cats as I could have hoped for. My dog has a medical condition that requires some specific aspects of care, and Steven was great at managing these. I ran into some issues with her medication order while I was away, but Steven was extremely communicative and easy to work with while I got the medications sorted. He sent pictures of my pets daily and didn't mind me reminding him a hundred times of things he was already doing! My dog loved him and the kitties didn't even mind him (rare for them)! This was my first time using Rover, and I would 100% recommend Steven to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet uncle :)

Steven is a rockstar!! He is trustworthy and flexible. He also was so helpful in letting us know that our back up sump pump battery was beeping due to a power outage. We were quickly able to get someone over to assist. Had we not known this, the rain could have led to a flood in our basement. Steven is more than a dog sitter!! So very helpful and we’re grateful to have him help us when we need him! Book him NOW!! Don’t hesitate!! do it.
Steven is so great! He has done both house/pet sitting, where he stays in my place for 1 week or more, and also just drop ins to walk the dogs and feed the cats/litter box when I have to be gone for extended hours. I literally never worry about any of my babies, even the elderly Cavalier on like 7 meds, because Steven is so good with them and super reliable. I recommend him to anyone at any time!
Steven was awesome with our girl over the holidays! We are so grateful for all the great care and love given to our girlie. Thank you, Steven! Would recommend to anyone needing a reliable sitter for their furry family member.
