About: I've been dog-walking and cat sitting since I was about 13-14 years old! I've cared for a range of dogs and cats, from young to old, and everything in between. I also have lots of experience with big dogs in particular. My family has had labs since I can remember, and I've cared for and walked two big dogs at the same time. I currently work from home, and usually have a pretty flexible schedule most days a week, so I'd be happy to fit your pet into my schedule! I do occasionally have a public involvement meeting that requires me to be elsewhere during the day, but happy to plan far in advance with you to make sure your pet's care needs are met. I provide a safe environment by making sure your pet is in a place they know best - their and your home. I find that pets who are in their own space are the most comfortable. I also have experience with needing to provide pills to cats, and can crate trained pups.

About: As the owner of high energy pets, I am an expert at walks and enrichment. I love animals and am often the first person my friends and family ask to watch their pets when they go out of town. I have a flexible schedule and can be available to care for your pets! On weekends, I am available for petting sitting or long walkies. I have a fenced yard and a neighborhood that is good for walks. I have two pets of my own, a service dog dropout and a cat that likes dogs more than people. I am also willing to drive to your home to care for your pets.

About: My family has had dogs since I was born, and since I was 10 I took on jobs looking after the dogs in my neighborhood. I have a lot of availability during weekdays and nights, as well as general flexibility in my schedule! I also have a car so I am able to get where I need to go in a punctual manner. I have a fenced in yard, and my house is right next to a wooded park that is great for walks. As for cats, I have a large bedroom, and well as some baby fences I could use to block doors to the outside. I also have cat toys!

About: I have taken care of dogs large and small since I was 12. Additionally, I have experience with more aggressive breeds of dogs. I have had my dog Narcissa Rose for almost 3 years, since she was a puppy, and so I have ample experience with puppies, training, and medication administration (both topically and orally)! I am a firm believer that our fur babies deserve the best care possible, as it’s their first time in this life as well and we have to be their advocate! I have a full time job, as well as a business. However, I am fortunate that I am an early riser, so early morning walks and visits are never an issue. My evenings are relatively free and even when I have plans, I ensure to make time so pets are cared for properly. I have a fenced in patio space as well as a neighborhood dog park that would make any furry friend happy! I crate my own dog occasionally, and so am no stranger to the need for it and am comfortable enforcing that with your pup if requested. I have had experiences myself of sitters not paying attention to my pets while in my home and so I take it very seriously that if I’m in your home, my attention is focused 100% on your pet(s)!

About: I love dogs as I’ve had many throughout my childhood and adulthood. My family has always been a big pet family and so I completely understand the love and attention pets need and deserve. After all, they are an important part of our lives! I am currently a senior in college, and while I wished I had a pet, I do not have one yet. Back home I have a dog and caring for her is a daily activity that I love to do. I know pets are caring, sensitive beings and need lots of attention and love! In my house, I help with feeding, walking, playing, and overall petting and loving on our dog. I love to walk my dog at home and play with her using her favorite toys. About: Hi there! My name is Genevieve! I worked at the Richmond SPCA for 4 years. My two pitties at home (Nola and Brick) are leash reactive. With my own dogs and experience of working at an animal shelter I’ve seen almost everything. I have experience with medication administration- injectable, sub q fluids, and oral. I also have experience with behaviors like reactivity, resource guarding, mouthiness, fearfulness, ect. I take a fear free, positive reinforcement approach. My goal is to make sure your pets needs are being met so they feel safe and you feel comfortable and at ease. I have experience with special needs cats as well! I quit my job and went back to school! I can care for your pets before 9:00 am and after 11 am Monday and Wednesday-Friday. I can care for your pet on Tuesdays from 1 pm onwards. I have experience with homes without backyards and am willing to do a walk around the block or whatever it might be for a quick potty break. I always go outside to my fenced in backyard with my dogs to make sure everyone is safe and will do so with yours. Your cats will be kept strictly indoors!

About: I’ve been a cat mama since our family cat chose me as his favorite nap spot the day I came home from the hospital! I raised my next bestie from the day she was born until she crossed the rainbow bridge, and I’ve loved my Fiona for nearly 14 years. I have plenty of experience with cats of all ages, including administering medication, accommodating quirky needs, and navigating sassy attitudes! I also grew up with a family dog and helped care for him while living at home and during college breaks. That included feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I bring patience and attention to each pet’s personality and routine, and I’m happy to learn all the little details that help yours feel comfortable and loved. I currently work freelance and have a very flexible schedule so my days are built around what bookings I have in a given week.
