About: Hi! I joined Rover because I love dogs but can’t have one of my own yet, and I have a lot of love to share! I’m very active and love to have furry friends join me on long walks up and down the hills of the city and to all our beautiful parks. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, including caring for multiple pets for extended periods of time. Walk and drop-in availability: M-F: evenings after ~5:30! Sat-Sun: anytime! I work a hybrid 9-5 in fidi with a fast commute home to lower pac heights. I’m very active when i’m not working and love having dogs join me on long walks and jogs. I am very responsible and clean, and I will treat every client’s home with the upmost respect. I always prioritize safety and exercise extreme precautions in keeping your pet safe in my care.

About: I've taken care of family and friend's pets over the past 2 years, becoming a trusted sitter known for taking them on adventures! When I'm with a dog, we go on long walks, hikes, and runs together. I am a teacher looking to sit on weekends or during school breaks! I am available for boarding and walks Friday-Sunday, but I have a lot of flexibility around holidays due to my job. I have no other pets so yours will get all the attention! I do not accept pets when I am working so we will have a lot of time together. My apartment has a small yard for quick potty breaks and I love going to a park to play.

About: I was born with 2 Dachshunds in the family that I wrestled within my first years of learning to crawl and have lived with a dog most years of my life. I once had a Doberman Pincher whom I raised & turned into a service dog in the Air Force when I was given an overseas assignment and couldn't take him. For years I had a diabetic Chow Chow that I could leave in the back of a convertible car with the roof down on Hollywood Blvd by the Chinese Theater while I went to a show and knew the car and puppy would be as I left them hours earlier (Note: that was the 1990s... Hollywood Blvd. is a different animal now). I’ve tackled Pit Bulls mistaking my 5 lb. Chihuahua for a squirrel. I’ve crossed paths with multiple coyotes with my Chi’s in the Presidio & have great accuracy throwing rocks. I'm an IT engineer who works at home and sits long periods & my dogs absolutely motivate me to exercise with them daily and there are many places to do so in Dog City, USA! I've been working remotely and keep my pups with me. We exercise daily at the beach, Presidio or at any of the great parks in the area. We would go to Ocean Beach more often if not for all of the stinky stuff that washes up on shore that they just can't resist rolling around in (a dead walrus tops a skunk's stink by a mile) necessitating a bath(s).... in tomato juice? Safety is critical! I have a fenced yard which makes dogs possible in the city. They are never exposed to the street, so there’s zero chance of a mishap with escaping. I usually take my McNab/Border Collies (who were raised by Chihuahuas 😊) to Crissy Field, the Presidio, the Beach or Golden Gate dog park daily, so my dogs are quite social

About: Hi! My name is Darya, and I’m a nursing student at the University of San Francisco with over 13 years of experience caring for dogs and 4 years of caring for community cats and fostering. I’m also a volunteer at the San Jose Animal Care Center, where I work with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable walking energetic dogs, shy dogs, and senior pets, and I always prioritize their safety and comfort. I have three of my own dogs back home in San Jose, but during the school year I live on campus in San Francisco, so caring for clients’ pets is something I truly look forward to. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’m a nursing student at the University of San Francisco and live on campus during the school week. My schedule varies depending on my classes and clinicals, but I have free time throughout the week for walks and drop in visits. I go back home to San Jose on the weekends, so I’m mainly available Monday through Friday while I’m in San Francisco. I care so deeply about animals and I’m very detail oriented when taking care of anyone’s pet. I’ll always follow any instructions you give me and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. From volunteering at the animal shelter, I also have experience with dogs and cats with all different personalities, including shy, nervous, energetic, and senior pets. I’ve brought my own dogs to my apartment on campus many times and they love it here! There are lots of couches and carpet, plenty of windows for them to look out of, and they’re welcome to jump on my bed and make themselves comfortable. I really want every pet I care for to feel at home and be treated like they’re one of my own.

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 15, when my family had our own. During college, I regularly helped friends take care of their cats and dogs, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, walking dogs, and spending time playing with them. I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I accept same-day bookings when available, but I prefer reservations at least two days in advance so I can plan my schedule and provide the best care. I have a flexible routine and can adjust to your pet’s needs, including check-ins, feeding, and playtime. I always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. I follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pet feels secure and well cared for. If you’d like, I can also send photos or videos of your pet during visits so you can stay updated and feel at ease.

About: I’ve had dogs always in my family, and I am used to walk them, take them with me wherever I go and feed them. I also trained some of my pets to only pee outside and to not sit on furniture. With cats I’ve taken care of one a couple of times, but I am rather inexperienced. I love pets in general and I love taking care of them. I don’t have one myself because I was full time working with lots of travel, but now I am out of that for a while and I would love to use my time and energy on this ☺️ I just quit my job and will be available full-time in September. For the next two weeks, I wan visit your house morning and evening for walking and feeding the dog/feeding the cat. From September onwards, I am more flexible and we can work on the best schedule for you and your pet. My apt is small, but I live right next to Alta Plaza park where I can take your dog to walk and play. On your home, I prefer to follow your rules.

About: My name is Eleanor and I live in San Francisco near the USF campus. I've been a lifelong dog lover, and previous dog owner. I work from home full-time, and am looking for an excuse to get out of the house and get some quality dog-time :) I no longer own a dog of my own, but I am experienced in obedience training, potty training, and dealing with reactive dogs. Looking forward to spending time with your pup! I currently work from home full-time, so I have time during the day to take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood, or a longer walk after work. I live with my partner (also a dog owner) in a one bedroom apartment. There isn't much space, but we love hiking, running, and being active so I'm happy to make sure your dog gets as much exercise as possible!

She graciously came over a week early to meet Teddy. I could tell from the first interaction she had a true passion for care-taking. I got daily photos and videos. Shihua definitely has a kind and tender heart, sensing that I would miss Teddy terribly. She also sent updates on Teddy’s health as he recently finished a round of antibiotics.
