About: I’ve had pets for most of my adult life, and currently have a lovely 9 years old dog named Jagger. I already am used to walk her around in NOPA and would love to give company to more for legged friends. I work from home so I can be available easily. As I work from home I can be flexible on local walks and care. This is my side activity and I love animals and enjoy meeting new furry friends. I am a manager for work and I coach kids as a hobby so safety and respect are always a priority to me. I’ll be very careful about special instructions or needs for your animal.

About: From big to small, I've cared for dogs in a wide range of breeds. I have experience with puppy care and basic training, as well as working with senior and special needs pups. I've been the go-to petsitter amongst my friends and family, and have cared for their pets on a regular basis since 2019. I have a high-energy dog of my own, so I currently spend an average of 4-5 hours every day walking, playing, and training. I work part-time at night, so I have plenty of time during the day for as much pet care as needed. I prefer to be around animals, so I like to spend as much time as possible with each of the pets I care for. I make sure they're adequately stimulated both mentally and physically while their family is away, and that I leave the home and the pets within better than I found it.

She was consistently punctual, took care of food and litter but also played with my cats and brushed them a bit. She was very communicative and took lots of photos/videos. “Martha did an incredible job being a dog chaperone for Charlie during our civil marriage ceremony in SF City Hall! We were just doing the quick ceremony then photos for a couple of hours ahead of our bigger international wedding later, but we really wanted Charlie to be involved while not being a distraction to us, the photographer, the officiant, or the few guests we had coming from across the country. Martha did an amazing job keeping Charlie entertained, and she was great at reading the room and knowing when to be close by with Charlie or step away a bit if Charlie seemed to be getting antsy or bored. I didn’t give her any instructions really (definitely could’ve planned better on my part!) yet the whole experience felt smooth because Martha was very attentive to both Charlie’s needs and moods and the overall situation. While Charlie is a huge people person, he can definitely get grumpy and bored being in the same place doing nothing, but Martha kept him in such a good mood that he was smiling and cooperative any time we needed him for pictures. She also took some amazing solo shots of Charlie, which we will treasure forever!”

I’m Chelsea, a reliable and detail-oriented dog lover based in Haight-Ashbury, surrounded by some of San Francisco’s best parks and walking routes (Panhandle, Buena Vista, Alamo Square, and Duboce). I work fully remote at a global tech company, so your dog will get plenty of attention, structure, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a fully fenced backyard, go on multiple walks daily, am comfortable administering medications, and prioritize routine, safety, and clear communication so your dog feels happy, secure, and well cared for. I also have a bike and car to easily do dog walks in nearby neighborhoods! Pet care is already a central part of my daily life. I’ve been working from home for several years (I work in HR for a global tech company), which gives me the flexibility to build my schedule around regular walks, playtime, and attentive care. I walk about five miles a day, so it’s easy and natural to walk a pup on my routes or welcome a dog into my home for boarding. My weekends are typically spent hiking, cooking, doing yoga, and enjoying the occasional concert - all very dog-friendly activities that allow me to stay active while making sure pets in my care get plenty of movement, enrichment, and attention! I prioritize safety, routine, and calm, attentive care. My home has a fully fenced yard and deck, giving dogs a secure space to go to the bathroom, relax, and enjoy outdoor time (especially squirrel and bird watching!). My own dog had double TPLO surgery at a young age, which gave me extensive hands on experience administering medications, monitoring recovery, and being especially attentive to physical and emotional cues. I’m naturally observant and cautious, and I’m good at reading dog body language — stepping in early if a dog feels unsure or overwhelmed and helping facilitate safe, positive interactions. She was able to give them to him with little to no trouble, helped clean up my cat’s accidents & even brought over her own paper towels since I ran out. It was clear that he was actually playing with our cats, as we received many affectionate photos of our cats either in his lap or on his shoulders, enjoying treats, and playing in different ways every visit. When we had to modify our travel plans, he was quick to reply and immediately made the change. He’s communicative, prompt, and compassionate — and he genuinely loves animals. I've taken care of birds, dogs, cats, and more! I'm good with medications, feeding, litter boxes, dog walks, and general affection. My favorite are chickens and dachshunds. I sold my car a couple years ago and get around entirely by bike, bus, Ubers, and Waymo. Hola! Soy Amita.
