“Madeline was punctual, responsible and cared for our pets as communicated. She gave us a lot of peace of mind on vacation knowing our cats were being well taken care of!”

About: I’ve had pets for most of my adult life, and currently have a lovely 9 years old dog named Jagger. I already am used to walk her around in NOPA and would love to give company to more for legged friends. I work from home so I can be available easily. As I work from home I can be flexible on local walks and care. This is my side activity and I love animals and enjoy meeting new furry friends. I am a manager for work and I coach kids as a hobby so safety and respect are always a priority to me. I’ll be very careful about special instructions or needs for your animal.
“Nebula is a special cat and can be finicky, so it was wonderful that Mikele took such great care of her! I felt totally comfortable and confident with Mikele taking care of my family! Thank you!”

About: From big to small, I've cared for dogs in a wide range of breeds. I have experience with puppy care and basic training, as well as working with senior and special needs pups. I've been the go-to petsitter amongst my friends and family, and have cared for their pets on a regular basis since 2019. I have a high-energy dog of my own, so I currently spend an average of 4-5 hours every day walking, playing, and training. I work part-time at night, so I have plenty of time during the day for as much pet care as needed. I prefer to be around animals, so I like to spend as much time as possible with each of the pets I care for. I make sure they're adequately stimulated both mentally and physically while their family is away, and that I leave the home and the pets within better than I found it.
“A+. Kristina dropped in to care for my 2 cats over three days while I was in Yosemite. She was consistently punctual, took care of food and litter but also played with my cats and brushed them a bit. She was very communicative and took lots of photos/videos. I came home to a clean apartment and content kitties. Absolutely will book again!”

“Martha did an incredible job being a dog chaperone for Charlie during our civil marriage ceremony in SF City Hall! We were just doing the quick ceremony then photos for a couple of hours ahead of our bigger international wedding later, but we really wanted Charlie to be involved while not being a distraction to us, the photographer, the officiant, or the few guests we had coming from across the country. Martha did an amazing job keeping Charlie entertained, and she was great at reading the room and knowing when to be close by with Charlie or step away a bit if Charlie seemed to be getting antsy or bored. I didn’t give her any instructions really (definitely could’ve planned better on my part!) yet the whole experience felt smooth because Martha was very attentive to both Charlie’s needs and moods and the overall situation. While Charlie is a huge people person, he can definitely get grumpy and bored being in the same place doing nothing, but Martha kept him in such a good mood that he was smiling and cooperative any time we needed him for pictures. She also took some amazing solo shots of Charlie, which we will treasure forever!”

About: Hi! I’m Chelsea, a reliable and detail-oriented dog lover based in Haight-Ashbury, surrounded by some of San Francisco’s best parks and walking routes (Panhandle, Buena Vista, Alamo Square, and Duboce). I work fully remote at a global tech company, so your dog will get plenty of attention, structure, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a fully fenced backyard, go on multiple walks daily, am comfortable administering medications, and prioritize routine, safety, and clear communication so your dog feels happy, secure, and well cared for. I also have a bike and car to easily do dog walks in nearby neighborhoods! Pet care is already a central part of my daily life. I’ve been working from home for several years (I work in HR for a global tech company), which gives me the flexibility to build my schedule around regular walks, playtime, and attentive care. I walk about five miles a day, so it’s easy and natural to walk a pup on my routes or welcome a dog into my home for boarding. My weekends are typically spent hiking, cooking, doing yoga, and enjoying the occasional concert - all very dog-friendly activities that allow me to stay active while making sure pets in my care get plenty of movement, enrichment, and attention! I prioritize safety, routine, and calm, attentive care. My home has a fully fenced yard and deck, giving dogs a secure space to go to the bathroom, relax, and enjoy outdoor time (especially squirrel and bird watching!). I love long walks and tailor activity levels to each dog’s needs. My own dog had double TPLO surgery at a young age, which gave me extensive hands on experience administering medications, monitoring recovery, and being especially attentive to physical and emotional cues. I’m naturally observant and cautious, and I’m good at reading dog body language — stepping in early if a dog feels unsure or overwhelmed and helping facilitate safe, positive interactions. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every dog with patience, respect, and thoughtful care.
“I have booked with Jacob a couple times where he came many days at a time. He is wonderful! As a pet mom of a senior dog, it can be hard to leave them and trust a sitter. It is easy to trust Jacob! He is responsible, on time, and sends the best pics of my babies!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been around large dogs my entire life. At home, I have a sweet 3-year-old cat named Pepper, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. My favorite pets are the ones who love to relax on the couch just as much as they enjoy getting outside for a walk or a game of fetch. Whether your dog is a playful retriever who can't get enough tennis balls or a couch potato who just wants company and cuddles, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, and I'm happy to match their energy—whether that's playtime, snuggles, or simply keeping them company. I'm proud to provide an LGBTQIA+ friendly, inclusive, and judgment-free experience where every pet parent is welcome. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member! I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs drop-in visits, walks, feedings, playtime, or overnight care, I'm happy to work around their routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. I believe consistency is important, so I'll do my best to stick to your pet's normal schedule. I'm also comfortable administering routine medications and following any special care instructions to make sure your pet receives the attentive, personalized care they deserve. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. My biggest priority is making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable while you're apart. I'll follow your pet's routine closely, keep your home tidy and secure, and make sure they have everything they need—from fresh food and water to playtime, enrichment, and affection. I'm also comfortable administering routine medications and following detailed care instructions. One thing you can count on is lots of updates! As a cat mom to Pepper, I know my favorite part of having a sitter is receiving plenty of photos and messages. I'll send regular pictures and updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is for you to feel like you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing.
About: I have owned and cared for large and small dogs, cats rodents and reptiles. I am attentive and loving to even the most persnickety of animals! I am working on applying to jobs in a new field and have a lot of availability right now for sitting, walks and check - ins. I have a very safe vehicle for transporting animals and can take care of certain animals in my home if the circumstances are correct. I respect your home and boundaries and can provide references.
“Anita helped me last minute with my cat. He's diabetic and has anxiety so he takes 2 pills a day orally. She was able to give them to him with little to no trouble, helped clean up my cat’s accidents & even brought over her own paper towels since I ran out. She took the cutest pictures of my baby & made sure I was always in the loop of what was going on. I cannot recommend her enough!!! Im an overprotective cat mommy so knowing I was leaving my baby with Anita made me feel so good!!”

“Taylor did an amazing job caring for our two very active dogs and on very short notice. We came home and they were happy and clearly had been out and about, which they need! Thank you for your flexibility Taylor!”

“Anna cared for my two cats as attentively as I do. She has a deep understanding of how cats operate. She built a great rapport with them, which was especially meaningful for my more anxious cat who doesn’t like to be away from me. I’m super grateful.”

“Kim is the best, most trustworthy Rover we’ve ever hired. I returned from a three week trip to a clean home and happy cats — which wasn’t a surprise because he documented everything he did. Kim wrote clear notes and took photos *every visit* after cleaning the litter box and vacuuming the area around it, cleaning the cat plates / eating area and providing them with fresh food, bringing in mail or taking out trash, and so on. It was clear that he was actually playing with our cats, as we received many affectionate photos of our cats either in his lap or on his shoulders, enjoying treats, and playing in different ways every visit. When we had to modify our travel plans, he was quick to reply and immediately made the change. He’s communicative, prompt, and compassionate — and he genuinely loves animals. After many experiences using Rover, Kim far exceeded my expectations and I’m thankful for how well he took care of our cats. I plan to stick with him going forward. 6/5 stars.”

“Denise was an awesome rover - she was able to confirm a sit at the very last minute, sent a ton of pictures, followed instructions well, played with my cat a lot, and was super flexible. Would absolutely have her do drop-ins again!”

“Daniel was an incredible cat sitter, he made sure my cats were well taken care of and even got my shy cat to come out and feel comfortable. When I returned home my place was spotless and the kitties were happy!”

“RJ is a great person to watch your animals, he does exactly what you instruct him to do and goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are taken care of !! I would recommend RJ to friends and family , he is awesome.”
“Highly recommend Molly to care for your pets! She’s super friendly, attentive to my puppy’s needs, quick with communication, and always available to help out. My puppy Stella absolutely adores Molly, and I know Stella is in good hands with Molly. Will be rebooking with Molly constantly!”

About: Nice to meet you! I am a lifelong lover of animals, and have always had pets of my own. I have years of experience volunteering at the Humane Society, in addition to pet sitting for neighbors and family friends. I understand that it is nerve-wracking to leave our pets, and I welcome the responsibility and privilege that comes along with caring for these special creatures. I am comfortable with administering any medications needed, as well as walking and socializing the animals to ensure they maintain their routines and feel at ease. Every animal is unique, with their own habits, preferences and comfort levels with new people. I understand the importance of paying attention to their queues and adapting to their needs. Our pets are our family, and I will treat yours as just that. I have a very flexible schedule! I am available during the week days and weekends to come by and spend meaningful time with your fur babies, take them on walks, and can make twice daily visits to give them their food, clean litter boxes and administer any medicines needed. If your pet has additional needs, I am happy to work together to create a schedule that accommodates them. As a proud cat parent of two very sweet and energetic cats who have a pension for plastic and hair ties, I understand that many of our pets have their own quirks. I will be diligent in ensuring that the little (or big) ones do not get into anything that is not meant for them. And if you enjoy pictures of your pets while on a trip, I will be their personal photographer!

Paula did a wonderful job looking after our cat while we were away. She sent timely messages and pictures, played with our normally shy cat, and even made sure all was well in our home while we were away. We will certainly contact her again for our next trip.

Tara was incredibly helpful and friendly dog sitter for our big & anxious dog, Maddie! She was very on top of communication throughout the process, and went above and beyond in helping with cleanup, keeping a close eye on her and asking questions about anything that worried her. She has very flexible hours and clearly doted on our pup. Would happily book her again!

Janessa was the ultimate cat sitter and was wonderful start to finish. I have an especially anxious cat who doesn't deal with separation well and Janessa was a professional through and through. I appreciated the daily photo dumps and would recommend her to any cat owners in need of a sitter!

Amy was the best cat sitter we could have asked for when we were leaving our son for a week. Our hearts were calmed as soon as we saw how well she got along with Wallace and all the care and love she showed him. Detailed check in messages and a stack of gorgeous photos of our boy every day— we are so grateful for Amy being here for our beloved cat while we were traveling and could not recommend her enough.

Bailey was an awesome sitter! She communicated clearly, took very sweet pictures of Tippy, and always sent updates on how the visits went. You can tell Bailey takes her care seriously. She made sure my place was clean and that Tippy got some good play and attention. I would absolutely recommend Bailey to others.

Miranda was great! My cat Simon just got out of the emergency vet before we had to leave for a trip. Miranda was great at accommodating my lack of service and making sure I knew exactly what was going on with Simon. Simon puked a lot and Miranda cleaned everything up so when I came home I could barely tell Simon got sick. I really appreciated her help!
