“Lucia was great with our special needs pup. We recently started fostering her, and she was dubious about strangers. Lucia handled it like a champ, even planning ahead and bringing high-interest treats! I highly recommend Lucia, she clearly cares about animals and understands their needs.”

“This was our second time booking Mikele to take care of our cat while we were out of town. She was amazing with with our cat and also took great care our apartment while we were gone. We feel at ease knowing Mikele is dropping into our place and we'll be sure to book her in the future!”

“Jacob was great with my cat, Simon! He also was super communicative and shared lots of great photos of the two of them playing, which I appreciated. I will definitely be asking Jacob for help in the future to check on Simon when I’m traveling!”

I am currently a full-time student with a booked weekday schedule, but I am available on weekends! I can be both a morning person and a night owl! I’m here for all your needs! I provide structured, attentive care tailored to your pet’s energy level. This includes sticking closely to feeding and medication schedules, maintaining consistent routines, and ensuring a safe and tailored approach.
“Maho did a great job sitting with our kitty. Maho is very friendly, sent us extremely cute photos and videos of her playing with our cat, we were sure the cat is fine! The communication was super smooth and easy, and we even found a nice postcard when we got back! I would definitely recommend Maho as a petsitter and work with her again. Thank you Maho! =(^_____^)=”

“Amazing as always! Meg goes the extra mile to make sure Boo had a wonderful staycation whenever we travel. This time we were camping without cell phone service yet I could relax knowing Boo was in good hands.”

“Timothy was so thoughful about asking questions to understand our care expectations and the current condition of our senior pets. It gave me great comfort to know my family was in good hands.”
“Rocio was a wonderful caretaker for my dogs while I was out of the country. She was very solicitous in making sure that all care needs/expectations were clear well in advance, and based off her regular pics and visit updates, my dogs seemed to really enjoy seeing her every day!. I plan to contact Rocio first next time I need care support and would absolutely recommend Rocio for anyone on Rover”

“Sue did an amazing job dropping in on my cat while I was away. My cat is older and takes an oral medication which was no problem for Sue. Sue is a great communicator and the key pickup/drop off was seamless. I would love to use her services again in the future. Thanks Sue!”
“This was our first time using Rover and Katie after recently moving back to SF. Katie was great and our cat was well looked after. We'll definitely be using again!”

About: When I was 8, my family adopted a senior dog from Muttville named Lady. She was blind and deaf, and very high maintenance. I cared for her by helping make her food, carrying her up and down stairs, and gave her so much love up until she passed away. My family now owns a dog and a cat, and the care I learned from Lady now is implemented into my daily life with them both. Since discovering my love for animals, I have cared for my neighbors pets whenever they ask, and I always form a strong bond with each cat and dog on my street. I am available for any time throughout the week to care for your animals. I feed and walk my dog in the mornings, and play with my cat outside too! I make sure to spend a lot of time with the animals I look after, because I genuinely enjoy playing and forming a connection with them!

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and have house/dog sat for friends and family several times. I love to walk around the city and explore and I’d love for your furry friend to join me! I am responsible and communicative and want to work closely with you to make sure you and your pets needs are met. I work 5 days a week, but my hours are not a traditional 9-5, so I’m looking to pick up some extra hours with Rover. I’m fully available on fridays and saturdays and can do drop ins sunday-thursday. I want to work closely with you to make sure I am aware of what your expectations for your pet care are and how I can best meet them! I am very active and would love to have your dog join me on my many walks throughout the city and Golden Gate Park! I grew up with pets so I’m very comfortable around animals and their various temperaments, my main concern is to make sure I do my best to meet your pets specific needs.
“Abby has checked in on our nervous dog twice and she’s been patient, and communicative. She is easy to work with and we appreciate her always trying to make our dog comfortable. Thank you!”

About: Hey there! My name is Shawna and I'd love to care for your dog! Whether it is a walk (or run) through the park, a mid-day check in, or sleepover, I'll make sure your pet is properly looked after.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and caring for them has always felt natural to me. Growing up, I had Cocker Spaniels, a Himalayan cat, and a Siberian Husky, and later had three cats of my own with very different personalities that I adored. Animals—especially cats—tend to gravitate toward me, and I’ve always had a strong, intuitive connection with them. Over the past year, I’ve also been helping care for my boss’s dog, Maisie. From potty training to long hikes and overnight stays, I’ve loved being part of her routine. I’m active and usually go on long hikes in the mornings, so I’m always happy to bring a dog along for exercise and fresh air! I offer check-ins, overnight care, and boarding for cats and small dogs (especially hypoallergenic and potty-trained pups). I treat every animal with love, patience, and genuine care—my goal is always to make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. My schedule is pretty open, except Thursdays, I work a job all day Thursdays, but any other time I’m pretty flexible! I love to take the dogs for walks in the presidio or around heron lake. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I focus on creating a calm, loving, and safe environment where they can feel comfortable and at ease. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—mealtimes, walks, playtime, and any special needs—so they feel secure and cared for even when their owners are away. At my home, I make sure it’s quiet, clean, and cozy, especially for cats or small dogs. I only board one pet (or one family of pets) at a time to make sure they get my full attention and aren’t overwhelmed. I’m especially careful about keeping things tidy and safe, and I always provide plenty of affection, enrichment, and exercise—whether that’s a walk, a hike, or a good play session. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, and I treat their pets like my own. Whether I’m doing drop-in visits or overnight stays, I make sure pets feel loved, relaxed, and well cared for until their humans return.
About: I have a varying experience with dogs. At home, I live with a German Shorthaired Pointer as well as a Poodle/Shih Tzu. Whether your dog requires extensive exercise or prefer a more relaxed pace, I have experience with both. I am dedicated to providing personalized care, ensuring that each dog under my supervision feels comfortable, loved, and well-cared for. I will ensure they receive the attention and activities that bring them happiness when I’m taking care of them. I’m currently work from home so I walk your dog anytime of the day. But during this heat, I usually walk my dogs early in the morning and in the evening when the sun and heat has cooled down a bit. I have a high fenced yard if they need to pee, and I also take them on walks so they can potty when walking. If they are crate trained they can sleep in their crate. Or if they done prefer a crate, I don’t mind them sleeping on my rugs, dog beds, and or my personal bed as well. Whichever the dog prefers.
About: I'm a foreigner and I should have left my little Hachi and Bailey in my country with their grandmother, my mom🤣 it's hard to be away from them and my way of spreading the love I feel for animals is by helping to take care of them, even for a couple of hours. I can guarantee that I will take care of them and give them love for as long as you need as if they were mine❤️ The work you currently do leaves me a lot of freedom of time, it can be said that I am my own boss, I can adapt to the time I need to take care of your pets, it would only be a matter of talking about it beforehand and with time. I really have availability every day I don't have dogs at home, my garden is fenced but my apartment is small and I consider it preferable to play or take care of pets in their comfort zone, but I have no problem bringing them home if necessary.

Heidi was the perfect choice for our dogs! Yuzu can be a little nervous around new people, Heidi knew exactly how to earn her trust slowly and at her own pace. She was very communicative throughout the entire day care and sent us lots of photos, which we really appreciated. Our dogs looked so happy and comfortable with her, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We will definitely book with Heidi again!

Miriam is the best! This was the first time I left my kittens alone overnight and I felt completely at ease knowing Miriam was visiting that evening and morning. You can tell how much she loves animals - my somewhat shy cats instantly took to her! She followed the directions perfectly (one kitten is a picky eater!) and even went beyond, sending lots of photos and leaving detailed notes on the app. I feel so lucky to have found her - I will definitely re-book!

Riley is a SUPER amazing kitty sitter. From the moment I met her during our meet & greet, I knew I could trust her with my fur babies. I was away taking care of my father & I didn't stress out once while I was gone because she kept me informed on Luna & Teelu and sent me the cutest pics of them. Thank you Riley!
